Jason Thompson and his team are the most professional and corteous legal team. At a time in my life when I was struggling, I got in some trouble and was charged with Theft in the second degree. Naturally, I was scared and anxious and was unsure how I was going to deal with the legal process. My friend recommended Thompson Law out of Salem. Even though this was an hour drive from my home, I decided to have a consultation based on the glowing review. I hired Jason on the spot. From our first meeting I could tell I was in capable hands and was never disappointed. He explained the entire process and every possible scenario to worst case to best. While I was ready to just have the whole thing over with, Jason encouraged me to not give up. He worked tirelessly to get my case dismissed. He even would go to work early to call me with updates or work on a creative solution for my case. He never seemed rushed with any meeting or phone call and never took any of my questions as unimportant. His office was always quick to respond to any question or concern. Worst experience of a defense attorney I have ever seen! All he is about is getting the money , he did not do his job what so ever.. he did not try to prove our case or object to anything. Very disappointing. After loosing the case he had zero sympathy for the family and the journey we are about to face.. do not recommend! 40k for nothing

I’ve been through multiple attorneys and William is by far is the best I’ve come across. He is professional and respectful to his clients and gets the job done. Don’t waste your time on anyone else acting like a car salesman/woman, telling you everything you want to hear to get the retainer. If you want a good attorney this is your guy but you must schedule phone calls as he is super bzy with many other clients cases. You get what you pay for here. My case is still ongoing but I’m confident in this attorney. William is also honest in his methods and hours worked.

He doesn’t care! He sees dollar signs and tells me I should sue my past attorney for what she failed to include in my divorce. Doesn’t even want to look at the bank statements and my husbands Quicken account with my son’s savings account numbers, and my account numbers, set for download and transfer… which he did. He doesn’t care that my husband abused and stole from my kids and I, prior to our marriage. This attorney is book smart. Immature at life. Talks down to me as if I’m a child; I’m at least twice his senior. Arrogant firm; arrogant attorney.

A big firm in San Francisco recommended Dan Stotter when I'd exhausted all other avenues. I'm a journalist and author by trade, and had a FOIA request that was blatantly ignored by a government agency. I needed help, but lawyers were reluctant to go the distance given that I had limited funds. They also weren't sure that my request rose to the level of the public's need-to-know. Well, Stotter believed in it, and carefully yet forcefully got the government to fulfill its legal obligations. He is forthright, professional, and clear. I highly recommend Daniel Stotter, and while I hope I never have reason to use his services again, I hope others will.

I consulted Laura over a very upsetting charge that I did not intentionally commit. I sent an explanatory email through her website, and she contacted me almost immediately. She was instantly in my corner, loyal and empathic. She swiftly provided me legal reasons not to worry, then also made some phone calls to verify things on my behalf. Mr. Palmer represented me a few years ago for a couple of different domestic relations issues over a period of about 6 years. In each case, he was open about the possible results and gave solid, reasonable advice. Although emotions ran high in my dom rel case, Steve steered me on a conciliatory course that helped me work with my ex-husband in a better way than I had been. Not sure if he's still doing family law, but I highly recommend him nonetheless.

Jacob represented me even living two hours away. I had been "boxed out" of local attorneys. He spoke up for me during my first hearing. Jacob was open-minded and considerate. In family matter cases the drama can be outstanding but he and Wendy were tenacious when working as a team and Jacob phenomenal in his approach when handling my case. He worked with me on every aspect and kept me in the loop of every detail making sure not only the needs of my child were met but the needs of my personal family and household at hand. I would highly recommend Jacob as his help benefited my family greatly! He made it altogether EASY for me to concentrate on my everyday business and successes as well. My child involved in the custody case has come through this with little effect by the legalities as our end was kept as simple as possible while the other side tried to influence the children. The professionalism of Levy & Harris has prevailed even when the drama from the opposing party tried to ensue. Our case was long, but worth it. The year and half Jacob spent on our case with diligence has proven to be worth the wait. A battle will always have ups and downs, but Levy & Harris has proven to lose little battles and won the war in my case. I praise their efforts and highly recommend Jacob! My child is thriving thanks to this great outcome!

Everything was great in the beginning. My court date was rescheduled and for whatever reason Jacob decided not to actually follow through. I paid to have representation and I received no such thing. Wish I could give a better review but this is what happened in my experience with Jacob.

AAL Clarke assisted me on a bankruptcy case. He patiently and positively handled this situation with me professionally. I never wanted to be in this position in my lifetime - so that may have been interesting for him at times. He explained the process in detail with knowledge and confidence. Assisted in quickly finding appropriate filing timelines. He was a great asset and affordable through it all! Promptly returned my various inquiries. David was accessable when I needed a question answered by phone, email and text. And when busy, he always got back to me in a reasonable time. I was very comfortable that he was looking after my best interests during the process. David was not as aggressive as other lawyers, which in a high conflict divorce might be necessary...However, I found him very personable and easy to work with during a time of great stress for me. We had a very bad experience with Mr. Hwang. This was the only appointment we had with him. I think he is impersonal, angry, self absorbed and not patient. What do people need when they are going through the worst of their lives? -Patience, kindness and awareness of other people’s feelings, as death can be devastating for the family and friends. Knowledge without these traits is like getting a big enciclopedia. Please read all the reviews that have been written about him. I did not before setting an appointment, and regretted it.

Jinoo Hwang was referred to me by another lawyer who recommended him for his skills in creating a trust that was more useful for me because it was applicable in all 50 states and not just one. Jinoo's knowledge of recent changes in trust laws were invaluable in creating a trust which is inclusive of my estate but also allows me the flexibility to designate specific things to individuals in the event of my passing. The final piece that I was impressed with was the succession of trustees and the inclusion of a third party to act as the trustee in case of need. All trustees are fiduciary and charged with administering the trust in my best interest. This final piece afforded me much peace of mind. I recommend Jinoo's services in this manner.

Courtney Bellio and Kayla Nordlum are a powerhouse legal duo. Courtney is a true professional is every sense of the word. She's also a deeply empathetic human who will pour her heart and soul into your case and Kayla will keep everything flawlessly organized on the back end. I cannot recommend Courtney enough. Family Law can be exceptionally overwhelming. Courtney makes it slightly less painful. She'll be brutally honest, but she's fair and forthcoming. I'm sure there are other equally qualified attorneys, but Courtney is by far one of the best.

Don't waste your money. This guy doesn't care about you or your situation. He'll just take your money and do nothing. Even if the person you're trying to divorce is a convicted abuser. Blodgett has been in this business too long and is only finding his lavish retirement account. He has absolutely no conscience.

I’ve never needed a lawyer before and this is my first time dealing with anything in the legal system. Things began well enough. Speaking with him over the phone in consultation, I felt heard and understood. He did well at responding to the opposition’s very aggressive council. My satisfaction as a client ends there, however. If you need a lawyer to walk you through the divorce process, fight for your needs and work for you in a proactive manner, look elsewhere. Email communication with Bryan was poor. His staff shares one email address between 3 or 4 people and it seems confusing for them and the clients. I felt like he never had time to adequately address my needs. Multiple times I sent bulleted emails detailing my needs and they were met with silence. I’d wait a month to follow up only to find that he had done nothing. Example:, he suggested that, given a new development, the case should settle. That is what I wanted so I replied with a list of my needs regarding settlement. After over a month of waiting I emailed him to follow up and he responded saying something like “I thought you were going to try to reach a settlement”. What?? This expectation was never made clear to me, and furthermore, isn’t that what I was paying him for? His practice feels understaffed and out dated. It’s my understanding his own wife is the bookkeeper and despite asking multiple times for an invoice, I had to wait months to see my first statement. His receptionist is condescending and rude to clients. If email isn’t getting the job done, this woman becomes a barrier between Bryan and the client. She will make you feel like you’re an inconvenience and treat you as if you should already know the ins and outs of family law and how the courts work. When I urgently requested that a motion be made, they took almost a week to take action, saying “it doesn’t work like that”. During which time the opposition made their own similar motion. From that moment on, the process was dictated by the opposition, making the situation even worse. When I finally expressed my dissatisfaction with the level of communication, Bryan took no personal accountability and instead asserted that our working relationship had deteriorated and he no longer wished to represent me. Now I’m left trying to settle my own case while I wait for the remaining retainer to arrive via check. I think Bryan knows his stuff and has potential to be a good lawyer. Maybe he was, once. I think he was trying to save my money by reducing communication, which is fine to an extent. I think he would benefit from a staff that’s more enthusiastic and tech savvy. If you’re in an emotional situation and need a lawyer that will guide you, I would recommend looking elsewhere. I don’t feel I was taken advantage of, but I also don’t I feel like I spent my time and money wisely.

Trash lawyer! I had him for my DUI case and William was no help. Even tho the vials they drew blood with were recalled and should have never went to court. He even said that word for word to me but after talking to someone at the court house he assured me going to court was the best idea. It clearly was not since a public defender would have got it dropped. Also very terrible customer service. MONEY HUNGRY

I retained Larry in 2017 for an assult 2 case. He didn't properly communicate over the phone, return phone calls or do anything he said he would, he always had an excuse for why he didn't do his job....I served 70 months due to his lack of negotiation skills. He made no effort to get me a better plea deal. I've talked to other attorneys who have told me I should have been convicted of assult 3 and served 2-3 years. Please listen and don't retain him for yourself or your family. I have met many of his clients he represented that had this same experience...fair warning!!! You don't want to serve way more time then necessary.

I give David Hil Attorney of Law my highest recommendation. Without him and his staff, I would not be a free man getting to spend time with family and love ones. Mr. Hill and his staff worked diligently on my case from the first phone call I gave. Without him I would of never been found innocent of all charges. Even years after my court case he still keeps in contact to see how I'mdoing. I would call Mr. Hill again in a heartbeat. Again I am very grateful to Attorney David Hill.

When we were thrown in to a nightmare the spiraled, we had to fi d an attorney out of our area to help me with so.e very serious charges, 1st degree robbery 2nd degree Robbery , unlawful use of a weapon ,my world became unglued. The hint was on for a good attorney who would listen and believe in me . When I first met with Mr Hill , he showed me that he was someone I could trust , he hired investigators, expert witness and this was a game changer, not many lawyers would go to this trouble. I got hit by a car in 2017 and had no idea what to do. To make matters worse I had found a lawyer for my case prior to Matt, but when push came to shove she dropped me- but Matt stepped up. During the entire ordeal Matt pursued every option we had diligently and aggressively. I never felt left in the dark about what was going on or what was going to happen next. His communication was top notch and his representation of my case (which was a complete success) was as good as it gets. If you're looking for a stand up guy who cares about you and your case and wants to win- talk to Matt.

Good attorney for this fairly remote area of Oregon. Helped with an auto claim and compensation for injuries as a passenger in a family member's vehicle. No complaints. Eager and friendly assistance provided and resolved out of court. Pleasant, professional and courteous office staff made the whole situation a little easier. Thank you. Will return if assistance is needed in the future, though I sure hope not to need it.

We recently started a custody case and used Goldberg-Jones. We were assigned Aaron Ford as our attorney. Aaron himself was insightful, caring, and a phenomenal help. Unfortunately, the fees charged by the firm depleted our available funds over 2 weeks, before we could reach the end of our case. We've had to seek other representation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Aaron Ford to anyone. However, I would avoid the Goldberg-Jones firm unless you have an excess of available money to get you through the case.
