The last 6-12 months have been the worst of my life trying to help my teenager, Mr. Woram was there every step of the way. I had a frivolous charge against me, by a coworker who was notorious for assaulting peers. On the verge of being fired from his job for frequent assaults, and in an effort to save his job, the coworker filed 'unwanted touching' charge against me, as I pushed him away during an assault. The Richland police were unhelpful, unwilling to accept facts, or even call our boss or other coworkers who would confirm the situation. The prosecutor was unwilling to investigate. Christine was very helpful. I appreciate her legal knowledge, skill in the courtroom, and her excellent communication ability. This charge has now been dropped, due to Ms Bennett's efforts. I have a great deal of respect for Ms. Bennett and how intuitive it was to work with her. Working with Ms. Bennett made my first experience with the law pleasant. Ms. Bennett showed the confidence and persistence it takes to be the best attorney. I felt at ease explaining the most difficult day for myself because I knew she was going to try her best to hear me and help me. My son found himself in a terrible situation that neither he nor I ever imagined he would be in. It was devastating, and we didn’t know the best way to proceed. I am careful with money, and lawyers are expensive. I brought Mr. Perriquey a seemingly complex set of documents for review. Lake took the time to make me understand his informed opinion. Mr. Bernstein did a phenomenal job on my case. I had 7 prior DUIs when I hired Mr. Bernstein for my eighth. The County of Clackamas was insisting on the maximum sentence of 1 full year in jail on this charge. However, with Mr. Bernsteins advise and his amazing litigation experience, I served 75 days and am enrolled in a long term treatment program that was long overdue. Here it is a few years later and I still think of Mr. Foy and his staff (family). I was given to Mr. Foy through the court system and it was the best thing that could have happened to me throughout my experience with the law. Mr. Foy always addressed my concerns, gave me valuable advice, he was very empathetic, and always tried to see things from my perspective. I bugged this poor man constantly, because it was my first and only encounter with the law like this. I was worried I was forgot about and that I would just be left to accept whatever the judge gave me. That wasn't the case with Mr.Foy. He and his staff addressed and responded to my calls and emails in a very timely manner and with dignity and compassion. He always made me feel like my case was the only one he had and he was working his hardest to get the outcome I deserved. It turned out in the end that the outcome was amazing and to this day I will always owe it to Mr.Foy and his staff (family) for fighting for me, believing in me and always being there to pick my spirits up when I thought all hope was lost. I can not thank this man enough for what he did for me.

David Terry was hired by my boyfriend for a criminal negligent homicide case. My boyfriend was expected to go to jail for 30 days, which was part of the plea deal made with the DA. I was in a situation where there were many people that didn’t like me and chose to try and take me down for crimes that I didn’t commit Ms. Mockrin did the work to get details of my case revealed to prove my innocence went over all police records painstakingly watched over two and a half hours of video footage that was being used against me watched every second of it to point things out that ultimately proved my innocence she made sure she had a medical expert that had credentials to testify in a court of law in my defense he was able to explain to the jury the difference in some of the medical assessments done which also in turn further proved my innocence I am honored to have had someone that would take the time to look at my case and care she is a very passionate professional and I’m grateful that she isn’t one easy to push over because I’ll tell you things got very intense in there and she was able to keep me calm and focused the words I have written here are far from the words I can’t even find to describe my gratitude for this woman she fought for me when it seemed I had no hope

I was referred to Barry from a friend who had used him and was really pleased in his services. After a consulting with Barry I knew we should hire him. He was amazing! Barry kept in good contact with any updates that were happening. He or his Paralegal were always friendly and available. His services were life changing for my son. I just stumbled across this website and read the reviews about Walter Todd. All the good things you read in these reviews are true. He never represented me but I worked for him for several years and he is truly a wonderful attorney. He's ethical, has many years of experience and works very hard for his clients. Compared to a previous experience with a different firm, Jonathan was excellent at communicating every step of the way. I hired Rich by referral and I am so glad I did so. His knowledge and expertise with DUII’s has given me such a peace of mind in a crazy stressful situation. This is such a difficult road but knowing there is somebody with you holding your hand through this whole nightmare makes a person feel better. tldr: I was fortunate to hire Rich mid-case and got the best possible legal outcome (charges dropped and expunged) combined with a DUI attorney and support-office who really helped reduce the anxiety associated with fighting the charge. Had my case gone to trial, I know Rich would have won, but I am also sure his reputation is a big part of the reason the prosecutor/police didn't go to trial. My case was a low-blow DUII (0.06 at the station). I made aggravating mistakes by talking/lying to the police (don't ever talk to the police) and performing the field sobriety tests (a mixed bag). I had some good facts going for me, but DUII isn't a charge most police or prosecutors will let go. A few words on DUII charges in Oregon. There is no plea bargaining, so hiring a paper pusher or negotiator won't do it. If charges are not dropped, there is only diversion or going to trial. The law is tilted to make trial difficult for the defense. Most people will have to plead guilty and the state knows this. If you want to avoid charges or go to court you need some good facts and a lawyer who is formidable and known in the courtroom for DUII trial defense. You want someone who relishes the idea of arguing your case or a case like it every day, winning, getting better, and then arguing the same points next year. This is Rich. I had a non-specialist lawyer representing me after my arrest, but I had grown uncomfortable enough that when I was finally charged, I auditioned Rich (after reading much of his great advice on Avvo). During the initial consultation Rich gave me a preview of how he would try the case on my behalf and it was decisive and convincing. After re-discussing strategy with my original lawyer, I realized I had to switch to Rich if I wanted to fight. The Oberdorfer Law office handled the case transfer with the utmost kindness and professionalism. Rich outlined the overall trial strategy and developed several new prongs of attack as we got closer. Rich read every long anxious treatise and theory I sent him about my case and responded quickly and firmly to put me back on track. He was experienced enough to tell me why we shouldn't litigate every detail in front of the judge and jury even when it seemed like those details should have been minor points in our favor. Rich drove out to my town twice to represent me in court as the case moved towards trial. He drafted and consulted with me on several legal motions which he entertained filing but which we ultimately decided to reserve until trial. At all steps he included me in the decision process and treated me with respect beyond what I earned. I was not a perfect client, but I could not have dreamed of a more perfect lawyer. The end was interesting. We thought we had a case we could win at trial and Rich had run various parts by me several times. The prosecution then scheduled a court date which the officer could not attend. This should have been embarassing for them, but there was an excuse. Then they conferred and scheduled another date with the court which the officer again said he could not attend. Rich carefully explained that we should lay low because prosecutor and police were laying the grounds for dismissing their own case with fingers pointed at each other (so as to have nobody to blame). This was exactly what happened and charges were dropped without prejudice before trial. They were never re-filed. Would this remarkable set of events have happened without a trial lawyer of Rich's caliber and notoriety? I think the police officer and prosecutor would have found themselves able to read a calendar together. Was Rich worth every penny I paid? Absolutely. It was a long time to become eligible for expungement, but Rich and Rob handled it for me without additional charge. I hope never to be in such a situation again, but I would hire Rich in a heartbeat if I was. I would recommend him for friends and family without hesitation.

I write this review nearly 15 years after Steven saved my life. So I’ll be short and sweet. When I think about Steven Sherlag I can’t help but look back and imagine “Billy Flynn”, the defense lawyer in the movie Chicago. What I witnessed Steven do was both a blessing and magic to say the least. He is a good man with a pure moral compass. After interviewing attorneys for assistance in my very serious and distressing situation, I was beginning to feel helpless. Clayton Tullos gives one exactly what is needed in the courtroom...an experienced litigator who is quick thinking and a powerful advocate. I write this review with the status of my case still pending, but I wouldn't change it regardless of the outcome. Clayton did a skilled job passionately advocating for my daughter and her rights as a person in a difficult custody case. Clayton was willing to work with me on what I could afford, and was efficient in selecting relevant evidence and resources for trial. Most importantly, Clayton cared as a human being and this was evident in his argument. Clayton isn't the best layer for everyone, but he is a skilled litigator, was honest through the process, and he cared, which is the most one can ask for of an attorney. Highest recommendation.

I hired Jeff Siefman to represent me on a domestic dispute that led to my arrest in October. Jeff was very upfront and informative when I came to him about a no contact order that was placed that neither myself or significant other asked for.
