Rebecca Puhac is a very experienced lawyer who can be fierce in the courtroom. If you have a case that will result in a large profit for her, and you're willing to pay tens of thousands of dollars to her fees, then hire her. If your case will result in just few thousand dollars than she is more concerned with being elected for a judge position than looking into your case. At the consultation, she breezed over my case and told me what I could get from my divorce. She never fully looked into my case. I did hire her after the consultation. That resulted in me paying her $4000 in fees (after she said she would not charge me for calls or emails because it was a smaller case), and she drug out the divorce a year longer than needed. Whem she thought it was going to litigation and that would result in more money for her, she looked at my case. Found out her prior assessment was about $40,000 off from being accurate. So I paid her more than I got out of the divorce and had to deal with the stress for a year longer than needed. To preface, I originally wanted to settle but she pushed that I was entitled to so much that I should not settle. Had she actually looked at my case the first time, I would give her good ratings. Instead, I wasn't a big enough money making case to get that courtesy

I asked a friend that studies law and they recommended Mr. Collins. As I faced serious felonies charges due to allegations from an employee. The day of the charges I was contacted immediately by Mr. Collins and he walked me through each step of the process to make sure I was heading to the right direction. The next day I was in his office. Mr. Collins come up with a plan and acted immediately on the case making sure everything was in top order. Through out the process and the court proceedings I felt that I was in good hands and Mr. Collins made sure my side of the story got out and my truth was heard. Mr. Collins knows the laws very very well and my first case in court was immediately dismissed due to his knowledge of the law. The final out come from me facing felonies charges is now I have a clean record. I highly recommend Mr. Collins as your criminal defense attorney.

After hiring a different attorney in the area with negative results, I consulted with “We care legal” team. Jan Grossman and team were focused on obtaining the best results and making me feel like part of the family. Jan was tireless and relentless while obtaining a solution for this difficult time in my life. His compassion and dedication led to unparalleled results. When we first met he described himself as a “pit bull with a chain”. He is fearless for his clients. Hiring an attorney can be very difficult decision. If you are need an Attorney who has your best interest at the forefront, you will not be disappointed. THANK YOU JAN GROSSMAN!

I was 19 years old, a stripper, and about to lose custody of my child. After the attorney Jan Grossman had me pay him, he had me plead guilty. (So much for having a lawyer) I ended up losing custody of my child for about 3 years to Child Services. He couldn't get a hold of me for a week and said I owed him another $1200 because he had his assistant call all the stripclubs looking for me. All because he couldn't get a hold of me for a week. I'm in my 30s now and even though I have a felony now because of this case I have still turned my life around by going to college, but he seriously judged me saying he never met someone like me. The one who suffered was my child. She hasn't recovered after being in different foster homes from ages 5-8. Jan Grossman is not a good attorney at all.

My attorney for years was Mr. Wolfson who has been retired now for years. He was an amazing attorney also. He cared, when I worked with him it was about children and he knew they were in a bad situation and he poured himself into helping to get them to a better place. He was a very intelligent man who had many years under his belt and we fought and we won. Now he is getting ready to retire and along came Farley. He was impressed with him but he was winding down and this young lawyer was just getting warmed up. A friend of mine ended up in a horrible situation and it seemed to me they had him convicted before he even went to trial. I called Mr. Wolfson and explained the entire situation and asked him, Mr. Wolfson if this were your friend in this situation what would you do? Who would you call and he told me if it were him he would call Farley Holt. That's what we did. I saw earlier where people comment they felt he wasn't paying attention, did write things down etc. I felt that way too a bit. But I trusted Mr. Wolfson's wisdom and knew he would never steer me in the wrong direction. These kind of trials take a year or two to begin and when it's your life on the line it somewhat like torture. We also didn't Farley that often and of course worried to death how he would ever remember all of the names we gave him, the details etc...Finally the day came. A courtroom, judge and the jury all in itself is scary but it quickly became clear to us that Farley was in his element. Those names we thought he never really heard were both subpoenaed and didn't show up. He stopped the trial and had sheriffs drag them out of their beds and bring them in to face the jury. It truly was amazing. My friend was fearful but yet angry being drug through this mess for 2 years when he truly was innocent. While he was on the stand Farley spoke to him in a quiet and gentle voice. Allowed the man to tell his truth and he did great. We left the courthouse and walked back to his office and you ask, what do you think??? He told us with a jury you just really never know but now I'm going home to sit in my office and write my closing argument and do my best to save this man's life. A tense and sleepless night. Next morning we showed up again. Poor Farley's little girl had been ill that night and I had to wipe his suit where she had been laying on his shoulder. They do their closings and now, you wait....a very long and painful wait. Finally its time, we go in and he has to stand up while they read the verdict of 17 charges, one at a time. 16 Not Guilty and 1 guilty. Lord, I would not wish that on anyone, but if you ever would find yourself in that position I will give you the same advice. Call Farley. A friend of mine is an anesthesiologist and he had the same skills like Farley. He could go to a lecture in his 14th yr of Dr. school and use a note card, one side to take notes and pull off an A every time. He is listening, he cares and he's a fighter. I know one thing for sure I would never want to be on the other side of him because in my eyes he is a master at what he does. He saves lives too. This same friend is now suffering with Cancer and I've gotten to know Farley over the years and as we walk through this part of life he has been nothing but kind and helpful as we try to maneuver through the end of life issues. I am now 64 yrs old and I can tell you there is nothing much scarier in this life than being accused, jailed and put on trial for your life when you are innocent. My best advice is stay out of the York County Court System but life happens and if you find yourself there call Mr. Holt. He may not win them all but I promise you he will fight with all he has for you and I don't know what more you could ask for. I feel blessed and privileged to have had the pleasure to know him.

Mr Holt h as s yet provided us a copy of that judgement. He said he would mail it to us; as of February 2022 still do not have a copy. He also said it was based on some case from 1949 or 1949 but could never state what law. He just sat back in his chair and stated, well it's a good law. Asked again, what law. Never received a response. Sent him a gmail.....no response . I have my own thoughts about his behavior but will not mention.

I hired Dean Owens to handle a case for me. He did not fare well and I made a complaint to the Bar. The outcome, he received a leer of admonition just last month. The Disciplinary Review Board determined his conduct was improper. The complaint and decision was based his failure to communicate with a client and lack of diligence. Owens had me pay, twice, for an expert witness in this case but he hired and had me pay for a registered nurse and that nurse was not qualified to testify. Again, I paid twice for this testimony which was useless. Based on various inactions by Owens, my case was dismissed with prejudice on 8 February 2013 where the court memorialized its ruling in the order citing "plaintiff's failure to serve expert reports". I was not informed of this and on 2 and 5 April 2013, I emailed Owens asking about the need to retain a medical doctor as an expert and that I was looking forward to the trial. Never heard about the dismissal of the case, with prejudice that occurred on 8 February 2013. After many calls and emails in April, Owens emailed me telling me of the dismissal two months earlier thus any opportunity to appeal was lost. Not only was my opportunity to pursue a case that involved mishandling of my Mother in a care facility, I paid twice for testimony that was not the correct form of expert witness. I would never recommend this lawyer to anyone.

Caprice Hicks Bunting is a no nonsense attorney who gets the job done ! She was involved in a custody case for our family and did an excellent job. Being in Lancaster County and also being a male wanting shared custody is an uphill battle which she handled with ease. She did this while charging a reasonable price. If you want a lot of fluff and a fancy office don't bother calling but if you want a tiger by your side who does what she says she will then this is the attorney to contact. Hoping not to need her anytime soon but if we do she will be the one we will be calling .

I would rate Mr. Despoy as a man that doesn't care about the wellfare of children, since he doesn't have any. He is more driven by winning a case than what's best for children in "bad" situations. He just focuses on winning, and doesn't care if he wins ethically, or any means necessary. To bad, in his profession there isn't laws against the very thing he is to defend.... how sad for a man to be so selfish..... Thank God he doesn't have any children.....

Don’t waste your time calling for a private attorney if you are seeking landlord/tenant lawsuit. How can you call yourself DBCA that referrals to you lawyers and not have all the bases covered. They don’t even tell you this when you call and neither on their site. They didn’t even bother to give me info to a lawyer that can provide such a service. Instead it was useless info. Info I am already aware of and have tired with mediocre results. The only decent one is a local codes officer, but I am seeking a lawyer. Not a none existent lawyer. Google is more useful. Do better. Hope this helps out a lot of people to save precious time.

I was wrongfully convicted of a crime in the great city of pottsville (wow so unheard of, place is a joke noone does their jobs) off of a very untruthful report to the police. I used matt because he assured me it would be an easy beat. I have everything on camera and more evidence that proves my innocence and witnesses yet matt had me sign a waiver so I didn't have to go to the initial hearing where I told him I'm pleading not guilty(i was mailed a letter by his office that states this is what i wanted to do) instead he plead guilty on my behalf and took an ARD plea presented by the district attorney. He also did not tell me the TRUTH ABOUT ANYTHING. He lied saying if I took it to a trial I could be convicted as a felon( charge was only m1 cannot turn into a felony which I addressed with him at the status hearing where he admitted I was right) and wouldn't be able to get my firearm back or travel out of the country qith a felony charge etc. He lied to me about everything so he could just collect some quick money and wipe his hands of the case. He also did not tell me he wouldnt represent me in a trial until 2 or 3 days before the status hearing so I had no time to find another attorney and I wasn't informed that I could have pushed it back until I found adequate representation. When he told me in a meeting face to face at his office that he is sick of the police not doing their jobs and he wants to run for district attorney so he can solve all that I should have dropped him right away. All he did was screw me so he could get further ahead with his political career and extort some more money for the city. He coerced me into the ARD plea telling me it's the best course of action based off of all of his lies he told me. This is not what I wanted to do. I wanted my name cleared my gun back and the charges to go away and I wanted to go after the lady who called the police and lied, the cop and the city for how unlawful the entire interaction was. I was never arrested or detained my property was illegally searched and my firearm was illegally taken from me. This man has no morals and he abused the fact that we have history and used to work together and know eachother on a small personal level assuring me he could take care of it. The police officer who pushed the prosecution is no longer a cop with the city as he was fired for police misconduct. Now here I am stuck paying 2100 dollars in fines (was 894 from the papers I was given by matt and then later amended by the courts to 2094$ which I feel was a scam perpetrated by both Matt and the DA just to get me inducted into the program so I'm screwed either way. He has not tried to help me figure out the extra 1200 dollars I all of the sudden owe instead tells me on the phone that have bad karma and its still cheaper this way for me. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ON HIS BEHALF. It's not about the money it's about the principle the fact that im being abused by the system for not breaking a law or committing a crime. This man is a fraud and a liar. Do not use his services for criminal defense and If you do do not trust a word he says. Edited: also while I'm the middle of all of this i had received a letter from the lebanon county clerk of courts for unnclaimed property from my late father. I called Matt to ask him about it and what would need done and he explains to me its a lenghthy process and i have to do this and that and get papers signed by the witness of the will and it won't be easy because I have brothers who could also be ent8tled to that money but I am the sole executer of the will. I decided to retreive the paperwork from his office and i was able to do it BY MYSELF WIYHOUT THE HELP OF A SHEISTY ATTORNEY and got the email the other day stating the payment has been approved and is processing. He was just trying to get me to jump through hoops to justify a cost to me for their "help". DO NOT USE THIS MAN FOR ANYTHING. IF THIS IS THE STANDARD THAT MATT WORKS BY I WOULDNT TRUST ANY OF THE OTHER ATTORNEYS IN THIS OFFICE CROOOOOOOKS.

George Lepley isn’t the lawyer he used to be (unless his reputation in the past was nothing but bluff). Doesn’t return calls, doesn’t recognize his own clients at court appearances because he collects your money without in person consult, gives you a different price every time you speak to him, doesn’t fight for you. I agree with another person’s review. All he does is make deals with prosecutors that change when you go to court. He’s an overpriced hack. If fighting a criminal charge, I suggest Kyle Rude or Morrone, Hoffa and Campana law office. I’ve had good results with Rude for family law matters. He listens and has a stellar reputation (just check his reviews). I have heard many recommendations for M, H&C office from others. Even those that work in the courthouse snicker when you tell them Lepley is representing you. He’s definitely not worth his retainer or hourly rate.

I spoke to Attorney Jason Lepley when I was considering getting a divorce. I cannot stress how glad I am that I spoke to him before I did anything at all. Actions have consequences and if you don't know the law it doesn't matter. If you act before consulting a competent attorney I promise you will regret it. I met with Mr. Lepley and told him my circumstances. He gave me advice that literally saved me thousands of dollars, just by not making a simple mistake. I know I saved at least $10,000! He worked on a retainer and because we were able to reach an agreement I even got a good chunk of the retainer back. His competent advice helped me to take actions which resulted in my case being resolved quicker and with less financial cost to me. I cannot thank him and his staff enough!

Mary was extremely responsive in the first few days. Once she received her first payment she was very hard to get in touch with. Mary missed court, and would go to the prison for "attorney visits" and then say she was doing a welfare check when the client got down to see her. She "negotiated" a deal that was ten years more than the "deal" she promised she could get. She did not perform any casework as far as having a psych evaluation completed, review of the discovery was not done, no character letters/statements were sought, no ballistics, nothing! She took nothing the client said into consideration, was very uninformative, and never told the client what the charges were that were being plead out to until the plea was entered, which she told him he had to take the deal or he was looking at even more time. She had no time for the case and it showed. I would not recommend her for any criminal case.

Mary saved my life back in 2008. At the time I came to my prelim bearing with a public defender and she was arguing a case with extreme passion. She was young but talanted. I seen potential in her and said she is an advocate for her clients. Needles to say i should’ve been in jail for 15-20 years for a attempted murder and agg assault for a shooting into somebody’s house. But she got all the more serious charges dropped to a simple assault no felonious charges were filed and i walked away with 6 months house arrest. She is a saint and i will love her forever. Then i got arrested again for a drug charge while still on probation for the prior charge and she worked her magic again and got me community service. Idk how she does it but she is an amazing attorney at law. Thank you Mary!

When i was a young kid i was an idiot and on drugs and did very stupid stuff. One night i got high as a kite decided to go pay some girl to have sex with me on July 11 2008 and the girl took my money ran. The police said that i shot the girl’s house 8 times. My name is Karl A. At time i didn’t have a lawyer i seen mary fighting another case at the 1st of my Preliminary hearings and instantly fell in love with her combative vigor and hate for the prosecution and said i have to have her as my lawyer. I was charged with attempted murder and several other serious charges and was facing 7 1/2 - 15 yrs in jail. Mary got all the charges dropped to a misdemeanor assault charge and i only did 6 months house arrest with 5 yrs probation. I will only use her to fight my criminal cases.

Many reviews of this law firm include peoples’ opinions, which are indeed valid. However, to show my experience with this law firm, I thought I would provide an example of my experience. After Attorney Wenger botched my final divorce settlement and then tried to gaslight me into believing I had gotten a better deal, he did, after approximately 2 hours capitulate, and agree to fix the issue at his cost. As I rounded the finish line to my divorce, I received a phone call from the firm’s legal secretary/Attorney’s wife (Erica). Erica phoned me to tell me that she was preparing to audit my final invoice and wanted to know if I would like the funds deducted before my final equitable distribution check was sent or if I would prefer an invoice. I chose the invoice option as I wanted the opportunity to see the charges. She stated that the invoice would be out later that day and within seconds of hanging up, she sent the invoice. I immediately called her back (literally within seconds of receiving the invoice). I asked if this was the final invoice as she stated in our previous conversation that she needed to audit the invoice and I was under the assumption that would take time. She assured me that this was the final, audited invoice. I perused the invoice and had several questions. To streamline my questioning, I made an Excel spreadsheet with the line items from the invoice and wrote my comments on the lines where I had questions. After three emails back and forth shaming me for asking questions, I simply let it go. However, in the evening, I received an email from Attorney Wenger in which the following was stated: “In reviewing the billing, I noticed an oversight: my time, up to and including the preparation for and attendance at the October 27, 2023, hearing, was not billed. If there is a dispute regarding the $2,754.00 balance, I am prepared to revise the billing for accuracy. Otherwise, the firm seeks only the outstanding balance.” So after confirming that the invoice was audited, not once but twice with the law firm, and then asking questions about the bill, there were suddenly new charges that had been missed. While Attorney Wenger did not send a revised invoice, his veiled threat was understood: Stop asking questions or we will charge you more. And there is so much more. So much so that I am filing a disciplinary complaint against this attorney. Let this be a cautionary tale for anyone seeking to do business with Wenger Law. This was at the end of my divorce of two years and all I did was point out errors in their billing. If you believe you can withstand this type of treatment from someone who is supposed to protect you, think twice as the service of this law firm will literally leave you a psychological mess. Good Luck!!!!

He sounded great on the consultation. He was hired and Paid. First Wenger sent badly informed unknown attorneys in his place x 2 for different court appearances, then he didn't show at a Call of list. This started snow ball, Judge called another hearing, Wenger did show and lied to judge stated he "wrote wrong date down". Judge stated lying by attorney was Misconduct. This has caused so many additional court appearances time and money. He has now been dismissed from case. Prior He stated he would make Motions for dismissal never followed through. He would not return calls His failures and lies as attorney has showed so much corruption in legal system. He will tell you what you want to hear and take your money, do not hire!

Many years ago, in my early 20’s, I got into some trouble with my license & it was suspended. A friend of mine recommended Richard Hoy & I’ve been recommending him ever since. I had a suspended license & was caught driving. We met at Philly Traffic Court & after only 1 hearing, my license was restored. When Richard Hoy told me that I could get my license back that day, I almost didn’t believe him! But he was right, I got it back that same day! Also, his fees are extremely reasonable for the service he provides & everyone that has hired him, are always 100% satisfied. I definitely recommend Richard Hoy for any traffic court issues. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So these positive reviews are a joke. If you have needed a lawyer for 25 years or 20 years for traffic violations. Might I suggest, taking a bus or maybe an Uber? This guy has been a no show through my boyfriends traffic case for entire year! We paid him a retainer and he sends in someone else to represent my boyfriends case who knows NOTHING about the case in itself. They are scam artists and greedy. They are giving us a month during a pandemic to come up with $5K for an unnecessary Doctor to testify on behalf of my boyfriend. They are crooks and scam artists. Save yourself and Your money.

I am a lawyer myself in Utah and my client and I hired Mr. Lindy on a potential serious criminal matter to get resolved in Pennsylvania. He was terrific. Very knowledgeable and totally on top of the matter from beginning to end. He resolved the matter to our satisfaction and couldn't have done a better job or been more professional and prepared at all times. I couldn't recommend him more highly.

What a Criminal Defense Lawyer Can Do for You

A criminal defense lawyer provides legal representation to individuals or organizations accused of criminal conduct. If you're facing criminal charges, a defense lawyer will work to protect your rights, build a defense strategy, and ensure you receive a fair trial. Their primary goal is to reduce or dismiss charges, secure an acquittal, or negotiate a favorable plea deal.

Criminal defense lawyers have extensive knowledge of criminal law and court procedures. They investigate your case, identify weaknesses in the prosecution's evidence, and represent you in court, ensuring that you have the best possible defense.

When Should I Hire a Criminal Defense Lawyer?

It’s crucial to hire a criminal defense lawyer as soon as possible if you are facing any criminal charges. Some situations in which you should seek legal representation include:

  • Arrest or police questioning: If you've been arrested or are under investigation, hiring a lawyer early on can prevent self-incrimination and protect your rights during police questioning.
  • Felony charges: Crimes such as murder, assault, drug trafficking, or robbery carry severe penalties, including long prison sentences. A defense lawyer is essential in these cases.
  • Misdemeanor charges: Even for less serious offenses like DUI, theft, or simple assault, a lawyer can help reduce penalties, negotiate alternatives to jail, or get charges dismissed.
  • Plea negotiations: If you’re considering a plea bargain, a lawyer can evaluate the deal, advise you on its consequences, and negotiate for more favorable terms.
  • Probation or parole violations: If you’ve been accused of violating probation or parole, a lawyer can defend you against additional penalties or revocation.
  • Juvenile offenses: For minors charged with criminal acts, a criminal defense lawyer can protect their future by minimizing legal repercussions or keeping the case in juvenile court.

What Does a Criminal Defense Lawyer Do?

Criminal defense lawyers provide comprehensive legal services to protect their clients’ rights throughout the criminal justice process. Their duties include:

  • Case evaluation and investigation: Reviewing the evidence, interviewing witnesses, and investigating the facts to develop a strong defense strategy.
  • Legal advice: Advising you on your rights, the charges you’re facing, and potential defense strategies, including whether to take a plea deal or go to trial.
  • Negotiating plea bargains: Working with prosecutors to negotiate a plea deal that could reduce charges or minimize penalties.
  • Court representation: Representing you in all court hearings, including bail hearings, pretrial motions, trials, and sentencing hearings.
  • Filing motions: Filing motions to dismiss charges, suppress evidence, or reduce bail, depending on the specifics of your case.
  • Trial preparation and defense: Preparing a defense strategy and presenting arguments, evidence, and witnesses during trial to contest the prosecution's case.
  • Appeals: If you are convicted, a defense lawyer can appeal the conviction or sentence, arguing errors in the trial process or legal rulings.

How Are Criminal Defense Lawyers Paid?

Criminal defense lawyers generally charge clients in one of three ways, depending on the complexity of the case and the lawyer’s experience. Payment structures include:

  • Flat fee: For straightforward cases (e.g., minor misdemeanors), some lawyers charge a one-time flat fee that covers all aspects of the defense.
  • Hourly rate: For more complex or ongoing cases, lawyers may charge by the hour, with rates varying based on the lawyer’s experience and geographic location.
  • Retainer fee: In cases where extensive work is expected, the client may pay a retainer fee upfront. The lawyer then bills against that retainer for their work on the case.

The cost of criminal defense services can vary greatly, so it’s important to discuss fees during your initial consultation.

How Much Does a Criminal Defense Lawyer Cost?

The cost of hiring a criminal defense lawyer depends on several factors, including the severity of the charges, the complexity of the case, and the lawyer’s experience. General cost guidelines are:

  • Misdemeanor cases: For relatively minor offenses, such as a DUI or petty theft, a flat fee may range from $1,500 to $5,000.
  • Felony cases: More serious charges, such as assault or drug trafficking, can range from $10,000 to $100,000 or more, depending on the complexity and duration of the case.
  • Hourly rates: For cases billed by the hour, lawyers may charge anywhere from $150 to $500 or more per hour, depending on their expertise and the case's location.
  • Additional expenses: You may also be responsible for other costs, such as filing fees, expert witness fees, or the cost of private investigators.

Be sure to clarify the lawyer’s fee structure and any potential additional costs during your consultation.

Top Questions to Ask a Criminal Defense Lawyer

Before hiring a criminal defense lawyer, you’ll want to ensure that they’re a good fit for your case. Here are key questions to ask:

  1. What is your experience with cases like mine?
Make sure the lawyer has a strong track record with the specific type of criminal charges you’re facing, whether it’s DUI, drug offenses, or violent crimes.
  2. What is your fee structure?
Ask how the lawyer charges for their services and whether you’ll be responsible for any additional costs.
  3. What are the potential outcomes of my case?
A good lawyer should provide an honest assessment of your case and the likelihood of dismissal, a plea bargain, or conviction.
  4. How many cases have you taken to trial?
While many criminal cases settle with a plea deal, it’s important to hire a lawyer with courtroom experience in case your case goes to trial.
  5. Who will handle my case?
Ask if the lawyer will be personally involved or if other attorneys in the firm will handle most of the work.
  6. How do you communicate with your clients?
Be clear on how often and through what channels you can expect updates on your case.

How to Check the Credibility of a Criminal Defense Lawyer

To verify the credibility of a criminal defense lawyer, take the following steps:

  • Check their standing with the state bar: Confirm that the lawyer is licensed and in good standing with your state’s bar association. Look for any past disciplinary actions or complaints.
  • Read online reviews and testimonials: Platforms like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, or Google can provide insights from previous clients about the lawyer’s communication, professionalism, and case outcomes.
  • Ask for references: A reputable lawyer should have past clients or other professionals who can speak to their competence and work ethic.
  • Review their case history: Look at the lawyer’s website or professional profile to see their experience with criminal cases, including high-profile or complex cases.
  • Look for trial experience: If your case might go to trial, make sure the lawyer has a strong history of courtroom advocacy and success.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your first consultation with a criminal defense lawyer, bring the following:

  • Details of your case: Be prepared to provide a detailed account of the charges against you, including any documents related to your arrest, police reports, and court dates.
  • Criminal history: If you have any prior criminal convictions, inform your lawyer so they can understand how that may affect your current case.
  • List of witnesses or evidence: If there are any potential witnesses or evidence that may support your defense, share this information during the consultation.
  • Questions for the lawyer: Prepare questions about their experience, legal strategy, and fees to ensure you understand how they will handle your case.
  • Bail or release documents: If you’ve been released on bail, bring any paperwork related to your release conditions or restrictions.

By being well-prepared, you can help your lawyer quickly assess your situation and begin building an effective defense strategy.
