When you've never even met the lawyer and live on the other side of the United States, but feel highly compelled to leave him an EXCELLENT rating, then you know you're doing so for the BEST lawyer Phoenix, AZ has to offer. There's a show on Netflix called The Lincoln Lawyer (also a movie from 2011), but there is also a real-life "Lincoln Lawyer" in Phoenix named Gil Hacohen. Mr. Hacohen was hired by my son on what seemed a losing battle child paternity/custody case wherein my son was going up against a gilded, grisly family. "Lawyers for Less" sounded like a long shot for my son, but affordable enough to try. There's a quote that states, "It's not how much money you have that's relevant, but whether you feel rich." Mr. Hacohen, aka Lincoln Lawyer, has been working for my son as if my son has paid him millions!! He got my son his baby boy back, through all the lies and deceit on the other side. There's only been one hearing and Mr. Hacohen made it happen in 30 minutes. My son has his son back! If/when this goes to trial, which I pray it does, I will return to leave my follow-up EXCELLENT review. To you, Mr. Lincoln Lawyer, I thank you from the bottom of my heart!! You've no idea the impact you've made thus far. Do NOT hesitate to contact and retain Mr. Hacohen!!!

Fabian Zazueta and Garrett Respondek were very helpful every step of the way in our matter. They were able to pick our matter up when an unaffiliated lawyer was not working out and unable to see this matter through to closure.
They helped us keep perspective and offered well reasoned advice while being empathetic to our plight.
They are very responsive to calls and emails, often we would send an email and they would call to make sure they gave us all the relevant information.

Even if the prosecutor will not plea bargain, Michael will keep demanding proof of the evidence such as body cam recordings or Grand Jury transcripts from the prosecutor and the police. Mr. Feldman is extremely knowledgeable and capable first and foremost. He has a lot of experience in his field and it's fairly clear that he's seen just about everything.
Above and beyond that, he is a good communicator, and can help you understand the way things work. He always responded in a timely manner and got information to me as soon as he had it.
What makes him really shine is that he's quick, he's thought about all of the angles, and he can defend you even when the other side plays dirty. This guy has your back, and in my case even made me smile a bit when things looked bleakest. He got me through when nobody else could. If you need help, you need Chris. He was completely wonderful. Chris and I spoke on several occasions, he made sure that everything was completely explained to me, since I was new to the court system. He was kind, and understanding, and so easy to talk to (I’m a crier). He and his team worked so hard for me, and never left me hanging when I had a question. Chris Doran by far is the best criminal defense attorney in the state. He hands down knows case law, and the actual law we live by, more in depth than any lawyer I’ve encountered - and I know a few. His verbiage in motions to the court, his demeanor, and assertiveness with the knowledge he possesses in the courtroom are bar none. In my case alone I watched him go head-to-head with several attorneys on the prosecution side and educated them all on the real law they were trying to manipulate, which ultimately ended in a full dismissal with prejudice. In this case I was charged with almost a dozen class two felonies for standing my ground and sticking up for my God-given rights as an American citizen against three different swat teams from three different cities. As my life was turned upside down sitting in jail losing my house, my business, and my reputation, Chris was there from the moment I told the police to call him. As the case went on and evidence was conveniently lost or destroyed, light began to shine more suspicious activity in the part of the Police Department and the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, who were trying to cover their behinds on the wrongdoing of multiple police officers and drag out everything they were court ordered to do for months on end. Chris and Morgan worked around the clock (literally!!) and were on their game and on to the corrupt BS that was going on within the police department and the MCAO. Chris is a Rottweiler in the courtroom and is intimidated by no one and seems to love when people try to manipulate case law in their favor because he knows it all like the back of his hand and has no problem correcting the other side who look like idiots for trying to manipulate our justice system. Chris takes a lot of pride in what he does and it shows throughout the process, from his professionalism in and out of the courtroom to his utter knowledge of the process, the kindness and compassion he shows his clients, and attentiveness and attention to detail. I can’t say thank you enough or even gather the verbiage to put my thanks into words for Chris, Morgan and the rest of the phenomenal team at Doran Justice. Needing a criminal defense attorney?? Doran Justice is the only answer!

What can I say but absolutely amazing. My parents were in a horrific car accident, it was bad enough that people were asking if my mother had passed. That could lead into a decent ford review as well I guess. But AD was amazing not only was he on top of things and fought hard for my mother, but with the issues she was experiencing he made sure to keep me in the loop at my parents request. Brisa was also amazing so patient and kind. Any documentation that was needed was easily described on what was needed and how to get it to them. Brisa was responsive and even AD as you would expect him to be slammed with court cases and other things still made sure to get back to you within a reasonable time frame. For me and my parents the process was easy, and worry free AD and Brisa kept us up to date on everything essentially holding our hands through the whole process. I would recommend AD to anyone.

Bard Weinstein is the man! He truly cared about my case and my freedom. The state was not coming off a year in DOC, until I called Mr Weinstein! I was going to be charged for Domestic Violence and he was able to get it dropped down to a misdemeanor until I took my classes and paid the fines. From our first meeting, I had great confidence in Robyn and her abilities. Instead of being intimidated to take on my case after two other attorneys, Robyn was excited to take on the challenge. My ex is prior military, former local and federal level law enforcement, and worked for Coconino County as a probation officer. Throughout our entire marriage, he abused me, our children, and other victims. Robyn did not gloss over the details of this abuse; she read all of the information and evidence and all of the correspondence between my previous attorneys and my ex’s counsel. She dove into my case without hesitation. Unlike my first two attorneys (who often appeared as if they were working for the other side and had no concern for my children's best interest), when Robyn submitted documents to the court; she fully and accurately represented my concerns and sentiments. I felt as if she knew my heart, knew my children, and actually cared about our safety and well-being. My case had stalled and been delayed; no progress was made until I hired Robyn. Leading up to court, I was confident I had the best team possible. Robyn’s paralegal, Mandy is just as knowledgeable as any attorney I’ve ever known and worked equally as hard in organizing material, preparing documents, and laying out evidence for settlement discussions and hearings/trials. Both of these women are powerhouses as individuals but their combined force is astonishing!!! Whenever I had a question, it was promptly answered! Whenever we met, I had their undivided attention! When I was feeling discouraged, they encouraged me; I felt supported each step of the way! After just a few short months with Robyn and Mandy, my children and I are one step closer to being free from my ex’s abuse, my children’s voices are finally being heard, my children are finally being protected, and I am finally receiving child support, alimony, and attorney’s fees that my former attorneys refused to fight for!!! Living in Coconino County, I was reluctant to hire Robyn out of Maricopa County after my experience with the first attorney in Maricopa. But, she was more present and committed to my case than I could have imagined. Robyn repeatedly drove three hours each way and showed up to my hearings in person (my local attorney never did). I retained Attorney Barber's services to assist me with a good-cause exception for a fingerprint clearance card through the AZ Board of Fingerprinting. While I was ultimately denied a good-cause exception, it was not for lack of effort or legal skills of Mr. Barber. He took time to get to know me and understand the complexities of my case. He represented me in filing the initial paperwork to the Board, representing me at the administrative hearing, and filing a reply to the Administrative Law Judge's recommendation. At each stage of the process, Bretton was willing to help and put forth a really good effort to try to get my good-cause exception approved. Unfortunately, I believe Mr. Barber was correct in his assessment of the law as it applied to my case in that the Board should have granted my petition, but we don't live in a perfect world. I think my experience may signal the need for the legislature to take a closer look at which misdemeanor offenses should even be included on the statutory denial list and draft legislation that is fair to petitioners so simple misdemeanors cannot be grounds for denial in the first place. Based on my experience with Bretton Barber, I would not hesitate to recommend him to individuals facing situations that require good-cause exceptions or any other matters related to fingerprint clearance cards.
