It's been several years since I had to use Jim, but all I can say is there is literally no one better :) If you think that some miracle can come along and take you out of your circumstances stop praying and call Jim. I owe him everything, I'd have lost my job like most, lost everything I owned, lost everything I know. But from a lot of research and prayers I met Jim. And that was that. Nothing sort of a miracle. Kevin was assigned to my case as a public defender. If I had the money I would still definitely choose him. I had a criminal charge that I was worried would interfere with future schooling/job offers. I was so happy that he got the prosecutor to dismiss the case.

Finding myself in the worst situation I have ever been in, Kevin was there with me through the entire process. It would be almost impossible to describe exactly what he means to me and my family. The first time we met, he was very open and honest about what I was facing and more importantly what he intended to do for me. This never changed throughout the entire process. He is the only man that I would ever trust to represent me or anyone close to me in the courtroom. I won't go into many specifics in this review but I quite literally would not be able to be home writing this right now if it wasn't for Kevin. Kamille is most definitely the "BEST" attorney I have ever hired and I have to say that I have had to hire an attorney on many different occasions. FACTS!! Anyway, Kamille is extremely knowledgeable, professional and is AWESOME at her job. I was in a situation that was not allowing me to get out of jail, meaning I was Non-Bondable and when being in a situation like that and have a lot to lose if you can't get out to take care of your responsibilities and/or bills, things can look pretty grim. Thats the situation I was in and I was extremely depressed with a high likelihood I was going to lose everything I worked so hard to achieve when one day I started up a conversation with an inmate living in the cell next door to mine and he told me all about Kamille and how hiring her was the best thing he has ever done for himself. I was offered a plea bargain of 2.25 years and was told that that was the best i was going to get for a agg dui. I left that hearing in tears and was feeling the worst I have ever felt. About a month ago, I was convicted and charged with criminal damage, underage consumption of alcohol, and possession of a fraudulent (fake) ID card. Mr. Crews from the start was very supportive and helpful with everything I needed. He made me feel very hopeful about the case, despite how nervous and worried I was. Mr. Crews also responds back to my emails and texts back very quickly with detailed responses in which give me a lot of aid and clarification regarding the circumstances of my legal issues.
Mr. Crews operates a small law firm and he gets most of his clients from other very reputable attorneys across the country. This is actually how I was referred to Ted. I was referred to him by one of the best lawyers in the Colorado-Denver-Boulder area in which he said I would use Mr. Crews if this was my kid in this situation. As he was talking to my mother. Mr. Crews was able to negotiate a diversion offer with the prosecutor which means all the charges were dropped in exchange for me paying restitution and completing a Behavioral program in Phoenix. I got a parking ticket in the mail. It was for the car that my ex got in the divorce. I wasn't sure if it was worth the hassle of fighting it even though I was innocent. I explained the situation to Mr. Crews. He listened to me and quickly went into action. He filed a motion to dismiss and provided all of the documentation to the Court. The death of my mother was very hard in many ways, but the loss of my stepfather/ Dad of 30yrs was devastating to say the least. I truly thought nothing could be worse. Then my step siblings and his ex-wife decided to try to make me and my nephew into thief's and horrible people.
I never would have believed that the court's would have allowed this whole thing to go as far as it did. Allegations and blatant lies, not proof, but it did.
If it hadn't been for Davis and Doug I honestly think they might have gotten away with it, since I'm a step daughter, FYI: Stepdaughter I found to be something of a "bad thing" automatically.
Thank you for listening and fighting for us. Thank you for not allowing my dad to be misrepresented as well, even though that was a byproduct, I know he would be thankful as well.

Out of nowhere we received a call from a detective making accusations about a past event. These were the kind of accusations that could potentially be life altering. Not knowing what to do, but knowing we needed advice, I found Jerald Schreck online, ascribed as someone with expertise related to my case. I made a call. Sure enough Mr. Schreck picked up the phone himself. He was warm and reassuring. Not having ever met me before, or with any pretense that I would retain him, he spent about an hour on the phone with me reviewing the recent events and my concerns. He explained to me the law, how these things typically work, and put it in to the context of my situation. In the end he advised me that I was not currently in need of a lawyer, but if things progressed, he would keep my information on file. I offered to compensate him for the impromptu consultation, but he said he was happy to help, and that was not needed. He offered his services but insisted it was not worth my money at this time. With one phone call we went from shock and panic to reassurance. Mr. Schreck’s kindness and expertise deescalated the situation and enabled us to get back to our lives. Robert Wooten was the best thing it happened for our son. He was arrested undefined us terribly, this is not supposed to happen to us. We called Robert at the law firm Curry Pearson and Wooten. In his office Robert counseled Him, told him he needed to write an essay of sorts on his behavior & how it got him to this place. Also that he needs to pay us/his parents back for all we're doing for him. Robert asked the judge to meet with us as a family 30 minutes before court. When two of my kids needed a lawyer, David proved to be a hero. A year ago, my college-age daughter was charged with giving alcohol to a friend who was a minor. For a future teacher, this is a serious charge which would have kept her from ever receiving certification. David worked something out where her charge was reduced and she took a class.
My son, who has had multiple legal problems due to marijuana use, recently retained David when a public defender was giving him poor advice. David got the more serious of two DUI charges removed and I think my son finally understands that pot-smokers in Arizona will pay a heavy price for their choices.
David usually returns emails and texts promptly. He is generous with advice and his rates are fair and affordable. Be careful of major law firms that ask how much money you possess and then take everything you have. Go to an honest attorney instead. I can't recommend this attorney enough. He has been a hero to our family.

We all run into personal challenges throughout life and things happen. When I first engaged with Stephen he was soft spoken and young, which raised red flags for me. In our minds we all want to think of our personal legal defense as bull dogs, right? Well, I soon realized that our perception of what we want is not at all what we NEED. After talking with him, I was quickly introduced to a new approach. For example, if the top rated attorney (pit-bull) walked into the courtroom and everyone hates him you have to ask yourself how far you really think you'll get come time for negotiating? On the flip side of that, Stephen walked into the courtroom and there were smiles all around. I mean clerk of court, judges clerks, assistant prosecutor, and other attorneys. How far do you think you'll get if everyone loves your lawyer? Exactly! It's about finding the right fit with an attorney that has a relationship to leverage. People love this guy and want to work with him which will help your case in the long run. Stephen is very friendly, charming, quick witted, genuine, but more importantly - he cares about his clients.
Stephen was excellent in negotiating and got me what I was hoping for (anger management classes). When I 1st walked into the courtroom for the final disposition, he was actually on his personal cell phone using my home address trying to research the closest location for me - that's the kind of lawyer you should hire!
