I had hired another lawyer, but replaced him as soon as I spoke with Mr. Little. James didn’t over promise, but gave me confidence he knew the anxiety this matter was causing, and the hope that he would have it dismissed entirely. He talked to me like a person, not a case file. Mr. Little did have the matter dismissed on the first court date, while I’m still waiting on the refund from the first lawyer.

they don’t really communicate with clients well. they won’t tell you anything on the court date, they’ll send an email with the updates. i had to call and ask for them to have the lawyer talk to me. i hired a lawyer bc i live in another state and there was some miscommunication resulting in my court date being moved back a month and a half. i only found out bc i called them to ask for updates. when the second court date came around they got my case dismissed tho!

The team at Cary Estate Planning has been wonderful from our first interaction through the close of the estate they were supporting me with this past year. They carefully helped me understand what they do, pricing, how the estate would be handled, and what I needed to do in a clear and caring manner. Though Mark is a criminal defense attorney and though I didn't have much in the way of income at the time I approached him with my civil legal problem, he thought I had been so thoroughly aggrieved that he took on my personal civil case -- which became quite complicated and protracted -- pro bono, and saw it through to the end, obtaining a six-figure Final Monetary Judgment in my favor. He wouldn't take any money from me when offered, except for some filing fees, etc, which he would pay out of pocket when I was unable. I have *never* worked with *any* attorney who was as diligent and responsive to my wishes as Mark has been. He truly puts his client's interests first, above his own. Additionally, it should be told that his selfless work over the years in defending poor Montagnard immigrants from Vietnam who have relocated to North Carolina is extraordinary. He's become their Quetzalcoatl...Google it!

Ms. Graham has been a tremendous help to me with more than one of my cases. Her vivacious "go-getter" attitude immediately had me captivated and holding high hopes for the turn out of my charges. Ms. Graham not only kept her word throughout the lengthy process of my trial, but she even went above and beyond her responsibilities as a lawyer in my eyes. I certainly don't have the same opinion about lawyers as I did before I met her. She made it feel like she actually cared about not only my charges and the outcome of my cases, but also about me. Ms. Graham is very good at what she does and I recommend her to anyone that has a run in with the law or that needs any kind of legal help. My first set of charges were dismissed, as promised by Ms. Graham. My second set of charges are still in court but I have nothing less than high hopes for the turn out of these as well.

I had an issue a few years back. I got an email stating I needed to fill out a family medical history form for my 15 year olddaughter. Problem is I didnt know I had a 15 year old daughter. A former love interest popped up out of nowhere. And sure enough this girl was my flesh and blood. At first the mother agreed to let me meet her then recanted on her promise. I contacted several attorneys in Raliegh and none were responsive. I got Ms McClinton on the phone with the first try. She did not try to sell a $500 consultation fee. She simply asked me a few questions and told me what kind of case I had. I had her assistant immediately charge my card for the retainer because I had my lawyer. Look people, this woman FIGHTS for you. She gets in the trenches back to back with you. Everything she told me happened exactly like she said. And because Ms McClinton is so knowledgeable and smooth, she convinced the court to grant me visitation of my daughter despite her mothers protest. All I wanted was to meet my daughter one time and Ms McClinton got me more than that. My daughter is now a sophomore in college and Ms McClinton is someone I consider a dear friend.

Received a citation from a State Trooper for expired automobile registration which I actually was not aware that it had expired due to an original vehicle inspection failure/then repaired to NC standard, and then no notice ever received from the State that the registration had not been paid. ( I fully forgot that it had not been paid). Atty Immelman stated that he would assist in representing me in court with no guarantee of the outcome of the judge's decision. He accepted the case and had the court case entirely dismissed! I have worked with numerous lawyers through business over the years, and Atty Immelman rates all the "stars" checked above. This review is long overdue. So overdue that Google reviews did not exist at the time I needed help from the Monks team. I recently had a friend get a ticket in NC coming back to FL and tonight I told her of the time I had got 2 tickets in NC and had I not had the help of an amazing lawyer to negotiate them, I may have never been able to relocate for work, as I wouldn't have had a drivers license or ability to use a vehicle. Looking now back at how that would have negatively impacted my life and had I not the help of the Steve and the Monks team, things in my life could have played out differently and I would not be where I am today. Reflecting on that, I wanted to now, even though now its many years later and with the ability to do it online, let the Monks team and anyone else know that I appreciate everything you did for me to fight those two driving infractions and that it changed the trajectory for me for all the better.
