Good day. Approx. 3 years ago me and my service dog were attacked by 2 pitbulls that were loose. My dog was almost killed and I sustained serious injuries that kept me incapacitated for months.
The dog's owner had no home owner's insurance and he would not cooperate. D'Oliveira and associates refused to take the case because there was no insurance. Attorney Morse took my case out of kindness and he did a fantastic job. He didn't have to take my case and I am eternally grateful for his help and insight. A couple yrs back I got hit by a car on a bike and I was all screwed up thousands of dollars in debt in hospital bills. I didn't know how I was gonna pay it back was pretty much done for. So when I got home from hospital I was in a lot of pain and stressed out cause my bike was totaled and didn't have money to pay the hospital bills due to not having health ins. Then there was a knock at my door and it was mr Landry my life saver he knew about my accident and said he wanted to help me. He then told me about how it all works how he don't get paid if I don't get paid and I don't have to come out my pocket for nothing. Therefore I signed the paperwork and went threw with it. He then began to fight my case immediately, at the time I was working I was out of work for a while but then went back but he kept in contact for a while, then I didn't hear from him for a while we lost contact and I pretty much gave up on the case I even considered getting another lawyer but that wasn't the case my house phone was acting up and wasn't saving my messages so I bought a new phone immediately I got a message from him and a missed call we then was back in contact. He then told me he was trying to reach me for some time but never could because I was never home and not replying to his messages. Then my phone got shut off and we lost contact again so he couldn't reach me and I lost his phone number. Out of no where he pops up at my door and says man your are a hard man to reach so I came by to make sure you were ok.I thought that was real cool, I have family that don't even come see me and he did. He then told me how he was still working on my case and he has a couple of deals to go over. We went threw the deals and he said we might be able to get better deal but might take a little more time or we can close this right now. So I said see what else you can do and he did. He kept in contact and was telling me the deals and everything going on with case like the hospital bills and what the opposite side was disguising and we went further with the case. A few months down the road we had a solid deal and I was please with the option so we. Closed the deal and before you know it I was free in debt my hospital bills were paid off and I was stress free. He called me a few times and discussed the paper work with me and told me to read it carefully and if I have any questions to contact him ASAP . I then got the paperwork and everything looked good it showed the hospital bills how much I was going to get and his percentage I just had to sign it and send it back to him and in a few weeks I would get a check. A few weeks later I got a check in the mail and it was what it said it was going to be and I was real happy cause I really could use it right then. He kept in contact and made sure I got the check and everything was ok and told me to save his number in case anything ever popped up or know anybody going threw the same problem. So if anybody needs a good lawyer I would recommend Kevin Landry cause he saved me and hunted me down when he couldn't reach me and not sure if any other lawyer does that. It is difficult to rate a lawyer. Obviously you like your lawyer if it goes your way and not if it doesn’t You can get lucky with a judge who takes your side which may have nothing to do with your case or your lawyer. We all know that the judicial system is most definitely partial. I feel that I am in a good place to review as I had several lawyers for my divorce and following the settlement. Oftentimes the law does not protect you even though it has made a ruling and it is necessary later to go back to court. Finally, Steven Wright was recommended to me by a lawyer acquaintance. The difference between Steven and all others was his knowledges of the law, his diligence, skill and honesty. He answered my questions before I had them. He immediately had a plan and a task list. He was also amazingly compassionate. My ex husband is a scoundrel. I had no idea of the difficulties I would face. My only regret was that I hadn’t found him from the beginning. Steven will work for you, not for an easy settlement as many do. He knows the system and the people to get things done. In no short order he saved my dignity, my career and my children from the anguish divorce will cause. I am not a person that writes reviews on anything because I believe opinions vary and are not always helpful. I’m writing this now because if I had Steven as my lawyer from the start I would have saved a lot of time and money and that is not an opinion- it is fact.

Steven worked with me on my divorce and custody case which certainly was not the easiest. Neither he nor I expected for my case to be as contentious or drawn out as it was, but he great about easing my anxiety and ensuring that I didn't back down on anything important. Our son was indicted by a Grand Jury, arrested and charged with 1st degree sexual assault! He was facing 20 years to life! We scrambled as we shopped around for an attorney blindfolded while we were not particularly enthusiastic after speaking with some of them. Craig was referred to us by a close colleague of mine. He diligently reviewed our son’s case and immediately made us feel at ease from the very beginning as he was extremely confident and optimistic. He was able to convince a judge to release our son on bail. He fought and worked tirelessly on his case and even took time away from his family to meet with our son on the weekend to accommodate our son’s work schedule. He explained the judicial process and how they would proceed. His case went to trial. He was fully prepared. During cross examination of our son’s accuser he was able to extract from her the lies, deception and inconsistencies with her story. DNA evidence was questionable. He uncovered damaging and contradicting Facebook messages and pictures through the use of a private investigator. His case reeked of reasonable doubt. He was amazing! He really treated our son’s case as if it was his own son’s case! I am pleased to announce to you all today that our son was found NOT GUILTY! A full exoneration and will soon be able to expunge the charge from his record and finally move on with his life! Craig really is the best in Rhode Island and was worth every penny! You can never put a price tag on life. Remember, a good lawyer doesn’t have to advertise as they are referred. I highly recommend Craig to anyone facing any type of charge! Thank you Craig! I called Craig to find out the implications in Rhode Island if my client was convicted in Wisconsin. It's a very complicated situation. always recomend to friends and family. if there if something she cant do she wull find somebody who can. the hours are exellent. she will stay til 10 pm if she has to . i do not believe she tried to over charge or recharge anybody as her prices are fair and is willing to negotiate. i have used Dawn for bankruptcy..legal matters and tax filing for several years and have great results

Attorney Robinson was not able to handle a case for me in this instance. However, he spent hours looking into the problem prior to my appointment and spent 1.5 hours with me explaining various legal outlooks to me so that I could understand properly. He has worked with me in the past to my great satisfaction. Mike knew that he wouldn't be able to handle this complicated case and referred me to another attorney who works with this rare area of law. However, Mike Robinson is able to handle a wide range of law. You will find him to be capable, intelligent, speedy and caring.

Ben Perez represented me in a criminal matter. Unfortunately I was dumb enough to admit everything to the police. The prosecution offered me a standard deal and was unwilling to budge. Ben took my matter to trial and though my admission pretty much sealed the deal Ben made the prosecution earn their win. He cross examined my accuser so hard that he gave a ton of attitude and made the judge hate him. And ultimately based on the facts he was able get me the same sentence as the deal the prosecution offered to begin with. But he made them earn it! Had I not admitted, I think Ben would have won my case.
