My company was hired to repair a home considerably damaged by fire .
The insurance Company was dragging there feet this caused the City of Providence to issue A demolition order to have a house torn down that did not need to .
I spoke to Mr. Almagno and associates over the weekend be late morning Monday ,
Cease-and-assist was put in place . Note that there was a prior Consol involved they could not get this done .
I have been in bussines for 30 yrs , I must say I was impressed and extremely pleased of the action he took to rectify this matter .
He is extremely aggressive and professional I would highly recommend his services to anyone .

I’ve been using Paul Ferns for several years now. Originally I had a different lawyer and he wasn’t on top of my case. I soon after had switched to Paul and haven’t had another attorney since. He has helped in numerous car accident cases and a few driving violation cases as well. He also has given advice on family issues and legalities of different situations I was in need of help with. I’ve always left his office happy and extremely satisfied with the results. He’s answered every question I’ve had an has been very attentive to my cases. I had a particularly complicated Divorce that had a house, assets, debt and other considerations that needed an experienced Lawyer that could navigate the Rhode Island legal system quickly and easily. I am an out of state guy who needed a traffic issue addressed...a 30 year old traffic issue....My home state was not going to renew my license because of an unpaid ticket from 1987 ...I figured it was going to take months...because in dealing with the DMV.... A couple yrs back I got hit by a car on a bike and I was all screwed up thousands of dollars in debt in hospital bills. I didn't know how I was gonna pay it back was pretty much done for. So when I got home from hospital I was in a lot of pain and stressed out cause my bike was totaled and didn't have money to pay the hospital bills due to not having health ins. Then there was a knock at my door and it was mr Landry my life saver he knew about my accident and said he wanted to help me. He then told me about how it all works how he don't get paid if I don't get paid and I don't have to come out my pocket for nothing. Therefore I signed the paperwork and went threw with it. He then began to fight my case immediately, at the time I was working I was out of work for a while but then went back but he kept in contact for a while, then I didn't hear from him for a while we lost contact and I pretty much gave up on the case I even considered getting another lawyer but that wasn't the case my house phone was acting up and wasn't saving my messages so I bought a new phone immediately I got a message from him and a missed call we then was back in contact. He then told me he was trying to reach me for some time but never could because I was never home and not replying to his messages. Then my phone got shut off and we lost contact again so he couldn't reach me and I lost his phone number. Out of no where he pops up at my door and says man your are a hard man to reach so I came by to make sure you were ok.I thought that was real cool, I have family that don't even come see me and he did. He then told me how he was still working on my case and he has a couple of deals to go over. We went threw the deals and he said we might be able to get better deal but might take a little more time or we can close this right now. So I said see what else you can do and he did. He kept in contact and was telling me the deals and everything going on with case like the hospital bills and what the opposite side was disguising and we went further with the case. A few months down the road we had a solid deal and I was please with the option so we. Closed the deal and before you know it I was free in debt my hospital bills were paid off and I was stress free. He called me a few times and discussed the paper work with me and told me to read it carefully and if I have any questions to contact him ASAP . I then got the paperwork and everything looked good it showed the hospital bills how much I was going to get and his percentage I just had to sign it and send it back to him and in a few weeks I would get a check. A few weeks later I got a check in the mail and it was what it said it was going to be and I was real happy cause I really could use it right then. He kept in contact and made sure I got the check and everything was ok and told me to save his number in case anything ever popped up or know anybody going threw the same problem. So if anybody needs a good lawyer I would recommend Kevin Landry cause he saved me and hunted me down when he couldn't reach me and not sure if any other lawyer does that. Our son was indicted by a Grand Jury, arrested and charged with 1st degree sexual assault! He was facing 20 years to life! We scrambled as we shopped around for an attorney blindfolded while we were not particularly enthusiastic after speaking with some of them. Craig was referred to us by a close colleague of mine. He diligently reviewed our son’s case and immediately made us feel at ease from the very beginning as he was extremely confident and optimistic. He was able to convince a judge to release our son on bail. He fought and worked tirelessly on his case and even took time away from his family to meet with our son on the weekend to accommodate our son’s work schedule. He explained the judicial process and how they would proceed. His case went to trial. He was fully prepared. During cross examination of our son’s accuser he was able to extract from her the lies, deception and inconsistencies with her story. DNA evidence was questionable. He uncovered damaging and contradicting Facebook messages and pictures through the use of a private investigator. His case reeked of reasonable doubt. He was amazing! He really treated our son’s case as if it was his own son’s case! I am pleased to announce to you all today that our son was found NOT GUILTY! A full exoneration and will soon be able to expunge the charge from his record and finally move on with his life! Craig really is the best in Rhode Island and was worth every penny! You can never put a price tag on life. Remember, a good lawyer doesn’t have to advertise as they are referred. I highly recommend Craig to anyone facing any type of charge! Thank you Craig! Mr Judge… AMAZING. I have no words. I got into the most awful situation summer 2024 and it felt like there was no hope. I got continuance after continuance and I wasn’t present in the courtroom so I wasn’t sure what was going on BUT by the end of it he got everything dismissed. He truly cares about his clients and work at the end of the day; it makes him an excellent attorney and person. I have worked with other attorneys in the past- no one compares!!! Ben Perez represented me in a criminal matter. Unfortunately I was dumb enough to admit everything to the police. The prosecution offered me a standard deal and was unwilling to budge. Ben took my matter to trial and though my admission pretty much sealed the deal Ben made the prosecution earn their win. He cross examined my accuser so hard that he gave a ton of attitude and made the judge hate him. And ultimately based on the facts he was able get me the same sentence as the deal the prosecution offered to begin with. But he made them earn it!
