Doug got my reckless driving changed to defective equipment, a non-moving violation!!! I was going 30MPH over the speed limit! I followed everything Doug advised me to do in order to increase my chances of getting it dropped to a non-moving violation. And IT WORKED. Doug has also served my brother for a wreck less driving ticket driving through a WORK ZONE. It too was dropped to a non-moving violation!! Don't doubt Doug, just call him and let him work!!!

Class 1 Misdemeanor Charge of Reckless Driving in Northampton County was dismissed thereby avoiding a misdemeanor conviction, potential jail, license suspension by the court, all of the six Virginia points, a moving violation of any kind and significant fines. All done in my absence. Doug's pre-trialrecommendations were the key to having the case dismissed. Not only effective in court, but also a friendly person who helps put a stressful situation at ease. I am very thankful I hired Doug.

Mr. Bender came highly referred by a family law attorney as her law firm did not help in criminal matters.
Mr. Bender was realistic did not sugar coat things or tell me what I wanted to hear. He told me the truth and what he could do.
I was falsely accused in my case and Mr. Bender saw the case all of the way through.

Mr. Weiland and team have been and are phenomenal.
Apart from being warm and all around great people they're even better and honest attorneys. They were very transparent with me throughout my entire debacle with Henrico county aka the worst place in the US to get a ticket. I was going 96/65 and was promised certain jail time by the cop, the judge and everyone else. Mr. Weiland presented his argument and in short was met with "I'm not buying it from the judge". As I stood there in tears, John proceeded to argue down the judge as to why he needed to see things from another perspective! The judge's response was "in all the years l've been on the bench that has got to be the best argument l've ever heard for I was speeding but didn't know I was speeding" I walked out court with a result that was unimaginable for anything at that speed coming out of Henrico. I was given a regular speeding ticket. After leaving court the judge called and it was reduced 10-14 over.... I paid 250 plus 66 dollars in court fees. Let me tell you they were also the most affordable out of all the attorneys I consulted with! I was quoted on average 2000-5000 bucks! The Weiland firm was fair and reasonable, and by far the best attorney I've ever dealt with !

I retained the Weiland Law Frim for a reckless driving ticket that I got in February. I was speeding going 31 miles over in a 45 zone. I was easily facing jail time loss of my drivers license and not to mention the hefty fines I would have to pay. But thanks to John Weiland and Josh Stock they got me completely off!
The Law Firm from the paralegals to the lawyers are very helpful down to earth and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend using this team if you ever fined yourself in any traffic trouble like I was. I hope I never see myself in that situation again but if I am i know who i will be calling WEILAND LAWFRIM!

I had a traffic case that would be settled in a straightforward manner in other states. In Virginia, this meant having to go to court and litigating. As an out-of-state defendant with my own life to worry about, David managed the case with an appropriate level of concern. He wasn't alarmist like some of the other attorney's I interviewed, but helped give a realistic picture about what a plea-bargain normally requires. He wasn't trying to make the case easy for him through my heavy-lifting, it seemed.
He was knowledgeable about how cases normally went and communicated briefly but effectively:
* what I had to do to meet my goals
* the type of information that he wanted from me
* the current status of the court case.
Additionally, I wanted to seek a continuance in order to complete community service hours. David secured the continuance in a timely manner and let me know when my case was continued once more, presumably at the prosecutor's request. I really appreciated that David was quick and to the point in getting what I wanted out of the case, without requiring a lot of heavy lifting from me.

I was arrested for DWI with a .16 BAC in Henrico, Va.
Bob did a great job representing me and keeping me notified with progress.
When the day in court finally arrived, Bob Battle negotiated with the prosecutor and arresting officer.
He was able to have my DWI charge reduced to Reckless Driving.
I can’t tell you how much that helped me in my personal life and my career. I’m very thankful I was referred to Bob Battle. I could have picked several cheaper lawyers but, I don’t think they would have fought for me like Bob Battle.

I hired Mr. Battle for a DUI case. New to Virginia I was unfamiliar with laws and processes. Mr. Battle met with me, reviewed my case and outlined the law and my rights in terms that I could understand. He was always available, via email, text or phone. Based on the law I should have received some sort of jail time, however due to Mr. Battle’s experience, I did not receive any jail time and my blood alcohol level was thrown out of court. Could not have asked for a better outcome.

Mr. McGrath was patient and detailed in explaining what the charge was. He advised me on what to do to mitigate the seriousness of the case before the court date. I did not have to speak in court because Mr. McGrath handled that brilliantly. The judge reduced the charge from reckless driving, a class one misdemeanor to improper driving a traffic infraction which is not a criminal offense.

In September I received a reckless driving ticket in Henrico, VA. Since this was my first ticket, I was obviously terrified. Mr. Inch truly takes the time to make sure you are heard and you are completely involved in his process. His approach provides both profound and holistic healing. I am writing this as a follow up from my initial Google review (which was also 5 stars)….I felt compelled to say thank you again. Charlie helped me navigate a difficult custody case in another state. I had hired an attorney in that state but just didn’t feel like I was being heard (and certainly not understood). With Charlie’s help and advice, the client-lawyer relationship was able to form and help me feel more comfortable with the out-of-state lawyer. More importantly, he guided me through past trauma to help me feel empowered and in control. While I do feel much more confident in my lawyer’s ability to get the outcome we need, there is a big difference in bedside manner. Charlie puts your mind at ease while also giving you the advice you are seeking. He truly cares!

Horrible experience with this place. They are way overpriced for the quality of service they provide. They give horrible advice and not very good representation from this place. Our attorney, Elizabeth Smyers, and her assistant were horrible at communicating, demanding us to meet their deadlines while completely allowing the other party to not provide court required information that was needed. Then, withdrew from our case to leave us in a bad position for upcoming court. Please do yourselves a favor and stay away from them
