Better result than even Doug thought could even be possible, but regardless, he never stopped trying to get the best possible outcome. Doug was very upfront and explained to me that it was very unlikely that the end result would not include jail time. He laid it all out that it was really up to me to make the most effort to help my case. At no point in time was he able to work something out with the cycling prosecutors to offer anything that did not include jail time. In the end, when the case was presented to the court, the prosecutor allowed Doug to plead my case, and refrained from making any sentencing recommendations. This was all due to Doug's persistance and tireless work to highlight my life as a whole, not just the infraction, and the ruling was not something, either of us thought possible, but I received a suspended sentence of up to 12mos in jail and up to 6mos loss of license, as long as there are no new citations for the next 12mos. It was made very clear to me, how fortunate I was, the opportunity I have been afforded, all due to Doug and his efforts. I cannot thank him enough, nor the gratitude I have for the prosecutor and the court for even considering the ruling that allows me to stay out of jail, which if I went to jail, would have resulted in the loss of my employment. I am incredibly grateful to Mr. Doug for the excellent job he did handling my reckless driving case in Bland, Virginia. I retained the Weiland Law Frim for a reckless driving ticket that I got in February. I was speeding going 31 miles over in a 45 zone. I was easily facing jail time loss of my drivers license and not to mention the hefty fines I would have to pay. But thanks to John Weiland and Josh Stock they got me completely off!
The Law Firm from the paralegals to the lawyers are very helpful down to earth and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend using this team if you ever fined yourself in any traffic trouble like I was. Weiland did an outstanding job. What you pay a lawyer for is their connections in the court, ability to make quick judgements, and their knowledge of the law and John hit all 3 points with 5 stars. Henrico is a hard court and on top of that my record wasn’t clean as far as speeding. Originally I was in a courtroom with a judge that while kind, would probably not have reduced my speeding out of misdeameanor due to the amount of 45 mph over. However he was able to use his quick thinking and knowledge of the court to allow me to switch courtrooms and in front of a judge that MAY have been a bit more lenient. He was very upfront with me about the potential outcome of the case and what I was facing- but I wholeheartedlyuu believe that with another lawyer in the same situation I would’ve ended up with a misdemeanor for speeding. This speaks to John as an individual on top of his expertise in his field.
Now as a client- you do have to do your part as well -and I think that is what helped because all John had to do was worry about the court because I did everything that was asked prior and it was a long list of things. However those same things were the reason the Judge said “this is a very excessive speed but the amount of things you did to mediate is why I’ll reduce it to 15” (not exactly verbatim but the same message.)
My driving record had a previous speeding ticket, and 3 accidents. I think that everything was worth the price and I will hopefully never have to use his services again. But if i needed another lawyer I would use him again.

I was arrested for DWI with a .16 BAC in Henrico, Va.
Bob did a great job representing me and keeping me notified with progress.
When the day in court finally arrived, Bob Battle negotiated with the prosecutor and arresting officer.
He was able to have my DWI charge reduced to Reckless Driving.

I hired Mr. Battle for a DUI case. New to Virginia I was unfamiliar with laws and processes. Mr. Battle met with me, reviewed my case and outlined the law and my rights in terms that I could understand. He was always available, via email, text or phone. Based on the law I should have received some sort of jail time, however due to Mr. Battle’s experience, I did not receive any jail time and my blood alcohol level was thrown out of court. I was driving from DC to Florida and was pulled over in Greensville County Virginia. I received a reckless driving ticket 85/70 and was surprised to found out it was misdemeanor in VA being from FL. I did research on lawyers and Christina Pendleton & Associates was by far the best choice. The law firm offered a very reasonable and fair fee for their services with the speed being under 89 mph. Her law firm was in constant contact with me either by phone or email. They always responded to my emails in the same day which I was very pleased about. My reckless driving 85/70 was reduced to a infraction for defective equipment with a fine and no points. I highly recommend Pendleton & Associates if you are from out of town and need a lawyer to represent you.

I had a traffic case that would be settled in a straightforward manner in other states. In Virginia, this meant having to go to court and litigating. As an out-of-state defendant with my own life to worry about, David managed the case with an appropriate level of concern. He wasn't alarmist like some of the other attorney's I interviewed, but helped give a realistic picture about what a plea-bargain normally requires. He wasn't trying to make the case easy for him through my heavy-lifting, it seemed.
He was knowledgeable about how cases normally went and communicated briefly but effectively:
* what I had to do to meet my goals
* the type of information that he wanted from me
* the current status of the court case.
Additionally, I wanted to seek a continuance in order to complete community service hours. David secured the continuance in a timely manner and let me know when my case was continued once more, presumably at the prosecutor's request. I really appreciated that David was quick and to the point in getting what I wanted out of the case, without requiring a lot of heavy lifting from me.

My friend and I were recently in a car wreck wherein my handicapped equipped van was destroyed, my wheelchair was crushed and glass was strewed everywhere. Marc Anderson is the cosummate professional. I hired Marc to assist my son with a reckless driving citation. Marc walked and talked us through the entire process of making a good defense, including obtaining driver records, provided links to defensive driving course, recommended voluntary community service, etc. He also explained to my son how the judge was likely to consider each piece of "evidence" and thus why it was important to do what he was recommending and in a timely manner . Unfortunately I had 2 incidents within a 6 month period that I needed a lawyer for but fortunately I had Ms. Corcoran! For the first incident, a felony hit and run she reduced it to a misdemeanor and I was able to keep my license in addition to just being such a calming energy in the midst of what felt like the worst storm ever. Mr Samuels was helpful as much as possible. I hired him over 2 years ago to assist me with my disability claim. I couldn't have been more pleased with the way he kept in touch and was always a step ahead in the claim process. As today,promptly returns calls.
I have a current insurance company issue & need guidance in the steps to get this rectified so providers can be paid as in the past 30+ yrs I have been with them as a spouse of a retiree.
Understandably, Mr Samuels does have to require a Escrow account deposit to start his assistance. He was very thorough in explaining the associated fee and is understandable given the possibility of time devoted. Unfortunately SSDI is my only income. I don't qualify for any assistance the government supposedly pays those who are unable to meet living requirements due to my being married and my husband receiving actually less per month than I do after the SS insurance Part B deduction.
Mr Samuels is so professional and shows genuine empathy given my disability when initially spoke with him in 2019. He has shown that same professionalism given my current situation. I would (and have) highly recommended this lawyer who genuinely cares more about the client than the understable need for case charge currency. However it is very competitive given the economy and other providers in his profession. Mr Samuels dedicated the time to assure my disability case moved swiftly through the system process and held true to any statement made. Worked with several of my providers as needed . Was very professional in guiding me through the required process of gathering office and the many procedure notes required by me from the Social Security Administration. Mr Samuels is very knowledgeable in the disability program and the way he breaks the language down to layman's terms is a helpful qualification of many definite accomplishments acquired by this top notch attorney.

Mr. Bradshaw was very attentive to everything I needed and wanted. Being the first lawyer I ever needed, he made the process as easy as possible for me. He informed me of the entire legal process being that I had no prior experience. He kept me fully informed on everything that was going to occur in court ahead of time down to the judges name. I am beyond impressed with the representation I received in my court case. I had a reckless driving for speeding ticket and got the desired result. I was outside the norm but this is the first lawyer that I have interacted with that was genuinely interested in doing everything he could for my case and knew my case before the trial day. I was instructed in everything I would need to do to get my desired result. I did extra community service than he recommended (120 hours vs 80) as well before trial and this helped as well. Richard helped me navigate the court day and was reassuring but honest as well as agile in the presentation of mitigating evidence. I have said as well too many times in this review but that should speak volumes to the care I received that I was not expecting. I am picky with service and they were great! 10/10 would highly recommend this law office for reckless speeding tickets over 90!
