Jacqueline was very professional attorney . She is by far the best attorney I've ever hired !! All my questions answered all of my many emails and phone calls response quickly .I have a horrible custody battle in which I was accuse of all kinds of lies . Jacqueline knows her stuff she forced the proof in which there wasn't any . She's very smart and skilled and has amazing tactics she truly cares about her clients and fights for you .Can't say that about many attorney most just want their $ and then do very little work . Jacqueline has decreased her divorces cases but agreed to take mine- thank goodness! I had a previous lawyer blow through a large retainer without even getting the first responses out. I was looking for help to resolve the matter quickly and efficiently- for my financial and emotional well being. It still wasn't cheap but she kept me sane while dealing with a circus on the other side. Kept the important things in life in focus. In the end, I finally sat with the ex and worked it out the way I had hoped we could have through mediation. She is funny and strong. Her depositions of my husband were classic. Great attorney!

Mr. Davidson was recommend to me by a friend when I started looking for a divorce lawyer. When I met Mr. Davidson I felt safe and understood, for the first time in years. There was never any question that I asked that was not answered clearly to the point that I could understand, especially when explaining the legal system. Any time I had a problem come up I could call and he would call me back personally and help me through it, and help calm me down. Mr. Goodwin was very professional and honest from the start, and gave me many different suggestions regarding how my speeding ticket case might be most favorable in court. I was traveling from NC to KY and was pulled over in VA after my 18 month old daughter got sick in the car - I was simply trying to get somewhere safe where we could take care of her.
Mr. Goodwin was able to get my ticket dismissed, which completely exceeded my expectations. I would recommend Mr. Goodwin to anyone who might require his services.

I had a felony drug possession charge in Henrico county and already had one previous felony (not drugs) conviction from approximately 8 years before. However Russ was able to get me into the "first offenders program" which was probation, fines and community service followed by dismissal of the case if I completed those requirements successfully (which I did). I didn't do a single day in jail and best of all no second felony! So now I feel as though I have a future and am much more employable than I would have been. One last thing I need to add is that when I emailed or called Russ, there wasn't a single time that he didn't get back to me within a few hours. I was always a priority and I truly believe that he cares about his clients which always makes a positive difference in the outcome of a case.

In life circumstances can happen that will cause you to suffer the consequences for the rest of your life. Many times these circumstances can't be corrected without Herculean effort, because of onerous document requirements and all the legal bells and whistles that go with attempting to restore your life to normal. This was the case in my life until I found Sheri Thaxton.
We initiated my case with Richmond City before Covid struck delaying for more than 6 months our inevitable hearing. Through the entire time Sheri kept me informed and touched bases with me often to let me know she still had me in mind and my case was moving forward within the courts, and we were waiting for the opportunity to stand before the judge.
Finally court day arrived and within 15 minutes of entering the court a decision was made in my favor which has changed my life for the better, and is the final step in restoring my life to that which it was before I caused its course to take a negative turn that affected me for decades.

Claude is an expert, he knows what he is doing and he will get it done. He knows how to handle a case and I doubt he would take one he couldn’t win. That being said he stays busy!!! I cannot express in words how grateful we are to Claude Whitehead for his expertise and guidance through a very scary situation. We made the mistake of hiring a cookie cutter attorney for my son's reckless driving ticket. The original lawyer never questioned anyone or anything in regard to the ticket. His plan was for my son to complete 50 hours of community service, do the driving course and get character letters to present to the court. The first attorney told us to be there at 9:15 for court at 9:30 and he walked in at 9:50 without even introducing himself. He never questioned the police officer or how he obtained his speed even though I told him that there was two different speeds listed on the ticket. After my son's conviction he told us that we got what he was hoping for, my son kept his license and no jail time. However, he did get a misdemeanor (which is permanent) on his record which was the main thing we were trying to avoid. He clearly had no plan to try to challenge the ticket. We asked to appeal and he basically laughed and said we'd likely see a harsher punishment if we did. The attorney was unprepared to present any information we had sent him to the judge, was late and didn't even know who my son was. We decided the appeal was the way to go and after talking to several lawyers our search ended when I spoke to Mr. Whitehead. He was understanding and compassionate and ready to hit the ground running. He made no promises but boy did he deliver! He laid out a very detailed plan and stuck to it. He was very easy to communicate with and always responded quickly. He explained the how and the why and we always knew where we were with everything at all times. Not only did the charge get reduced to speeding, but the misdemeanor was gone and the fines significantly lowered. If you are looking for a speeding or traffic ticket save yourself a lot of time and worry, call Mr. Whitehead first. We wish we had.

Very attentive lawyer, helped my husband witha DUI. Mr. Martelino got him his liscense back and helped a great amount. He is also Spanish Speaking, so that is helpful (although not to us, we are English speaking). The only thing that was annoying is he did not always answer calls, or call back quickly. Aside from that, I would recommend him to anyone!

Marc Anderson helped me tremendously. I had two tickets in Virginia one being a reckless driving ticket. He was able to complete remove the one and decrease the other. Biggest thing is to listen to what he says and he will not stear you wrong. He will do everything in his power to help you out and was with me the entire time always answering phone calls. Marc Anderson is the cosummate professional. I hired Marc to assist my son with a reckless driving citation. Marc walked and talked us through the entire process of making a good defense, including obtaining driver records, provided links to defensive driving course, recommended voluntary community service, etc. He also explained to my son how the judge was likely to consider each piece of "evidence" and thus why it was important to do what he was recommending and in a timely manner . He was also available at any time though out the process for follow up questions and advise. Most important, we followed his advice and got the citation reduced to Defective Equipment, a non-moving violation. A great personable guy to have in your corner. Our positve experience with Marc on this case put him on the top of our list for any future legal services.

Sooo Mr. Boyko was my court appointed attorney. I called his office 4 separate occasions. No call back. I still had to show up in court, and surprise, surprise he did not show up.... So as you can imagine I let the judge know, and it was continued and I decided to hire my own... it's all about the money, if you are willing to spend I'm quite sure he will represent you well, however if you have other financial circumstances.... go a different route.

You truly get what you pay for, especially in legal representation. And if your kids mean enough to you you won't think twice about retaining Craig Sampson. A father in a custody battle in VA can be a bad position to be in and bring low expectations regarding the outcome. Craig is the best in the business hands down. Extremely well prepared and has a court presence second to none. He will shine for you if given the opportunity. His pre-trial performance stopped the opposition in their tracks so overwhelmingly, they withdrew the case prior to the actual trial. Where they were not prepared, he was and made that day the trial. The judge acknowledged every point and legal precedent he presented. I can't say enough to truly explain his skill sets and professionalism, but you can witness it yourself. Although this is business, I will be eternally grateful for what he did for me and my daughters ensuring we stayed as one, family.
