When I started this journey with The Driscoll Firm more than three years ago, I saw it as a way to reach out to the friends and family who were there for me financially when I could no longer work and my finances were all but depleted. Instead, I feel like I was gut-punched and robbed by a so-called trustworthy law firm. When I looked at the Disbursement Statement, I was awarded $38,673.96 minus $3,217.71 I’ll call these miscellaneous payments, and The Driscoll Firm took $17,403.28 and even though I paid my Medicare premium every month along with all copay's, my primary insurance pays most of my medical bill and I am being generous if I say Medicare spend 30% but on this Disbursement Statement my Medicare obligation is $11,602.19 and the thing is this was taken with no proof what so ever given to me that Medicare even got that money or if they were entitled to it in the first place when I finally got my check it was $4,979.73, not even enough to get me back above board I’m still in pain that gets worse every day, I still can’t work and I’m still in the hole financially the only difference is now I’m going through mental pain and suffering from being robbed and not being able to do anything about it I would never recommend this company to anyone their predators just like most of the other big companies that get ahead preying on the weak.

I am a returning client to Stange after a really good first experience, but after my experience on the phone with an extremely rude woman, I have cancelled my consultation and vowed to never use Stange again. The call was to tell me that instead of the $175 consultation fee I was told over the phone, I was told it would be $250 because I was a returning client. I asked how that entices people to come back to the firm if the cost was 45% more? She responded with , well it's whatever, and I told her I thought that was a lousy response. She asked me if I wanted to keep the appt. scheduled for today, and I said not at the increased price. She said she'd let it 'slide' for today, but for next time, I needed to be aware. Strictly because of her tone of voice, candor on the phone, and not being kind and/or pleasant on the phone whatsoever, I asked to cancel the meeting and get my deposit refunded, where she then hung up the phone on me. Not a good look for Stange, losing clients because your front office is rude, but who knows, maybe they don't need the business!?

If $5,000 can’t knock a 1st degree, Class B Felony Burglary - Home Invasion down to what it should have been, nothing more than petty larceny and trespassing, then I would hate to see what she charges to actually do something/anything. My 19 yr old kid walked into an open garage to grab beer that he could see from the street, that’s it. He didn’t break a lock/door or force entry, he didn’t have a weapon, he didn’t come into contact with the homeowners ever, he didn’t have intent to commit a felony. She didn’t do a gd thing. She was HOURS late to literally every single court date. After she told us that the courts were now doing multiple SIS’s, she didn’t even get him that! She told him after it was all said & done that he could request to have it expunged after 3 years. Smh. He would have done better representing himself. Oh & the fact that she is sleeping with one of her clients, a multiple felon convict, which would be a conflict of interest, she should find a different career path. Like maybe a horticulturist for indoor plants.

There are a lot of attorneys who take your money and do minimal work. Melinda goes above and beyond to stay available when needed, put the attention into your case that it deserves and explore ALL your options with you before you move forward so can plan accordingly. A far cry from your typical attorney!
Take it from someone who has had the unfortunate opprotunity to deal with over imaginative and extra aggressive police, you want someone who will fight for you, not sit on the sidelines and wait until your courtdate to try and get you to take a plea deal without putting in any effort. You get what you pay for and I wish Mindy would have been around a long time ago, would have saved me a lot of stress and money.

I went to Mr Phillips years ago. i was suppose to get a suspended sentence. From what he explained to me that meant it will not show up on a background check. well it does so i called to ask him wgy and he is avoiding me. wont answer ny calls when he did answer he told me to call him the next day and of course hr didnt answer n wont call me back. doing the situation he was not helpful at all i could have done what he did all on my own. my advise dont pay for sonethibg u can do yourself.

I went to Mr. Eisenhauer with a problem I was having with an insurance company because of a vehicle accident I had almost a year before. He was genuinely very concerned. He took my case, and though it did take some time, he settled it better than I could have expected. He seemed more concerned about me than any money. Very nice surprise.

If you need a glorified legal secretary who can find the courthouse and file paperwork, Bob is your guy. If you need a competent, hard-nosed family attorney to fight for you and what you hold dearest, stay a hundred miles away and pray he’s the opposing counsel. So ill-prepared for my support modification trial. I was prepared. Opposing counsel was prepared. Judge was prepared. What about Bob? Constantly scrambling for notes and fumbling for words. Oddly timed and worded objections. Horrible report with the judge. Outcome was shockingly one-sided and one of the worst judgements in the history of the St. Louis family court system. Use anyone else to fight and protect your rights. You can only do better.

This “attorney” is a joke. More like lazy jerk who just does gimme landlord tenant actions. He doesn’t practice law. He collects bad debt for apartment complexes-and he’s lazy and inept. Glad he found a cash flow. Hope the laws don’t update and ruin his game. Would put no stars, but that isn’t an option. Not as if this matters-his clientele are all word of mouth apartment complexes-he doesn’t work for actual people or on their behalf.

I am receiving calls from debt collectors for a debt I do not owe. The previous owner of this cellphone number is the one who owes the debt, not me. Despite explaining this multiple times, I continue to receive calls, often during my work hours and early in the morning. I have called back to inform them that they have the wrong person and requested that they stop calling, but the calls persist. Additionally, the person they are trying to reach and I don’t even have the same name at all. This situation is very frustrating and disruptive.

This man is a luddite of the worst kind. If you have a job that requires you to work normal hours, don't expect to be able to communicate with him electronically. He gave me an email address @sbcglobal.net, already a red flag and horribly insecure, that he claimed he never received any emails from. He gave me a fax number that I sent faxes to and had fax reports that confirmed delivery and he claimed he never got the document. THEN he sent me a letter telling me he is withdrawing as my lawyer. Now I have wasted months on terrible communication issues that should not exist all because this pitiful twit doesn't understand email or fax machines. I am even worse off than when I started. Thanks for nothing, dingus.

This firm is a scam they are representing my wife and they have had her case for over 10 years and no return calls for any updates on her case. She has to call them for updates and when she does speak to someone they always give her to a voice mail or a lady name Grace and she stated when they answer the phones they are rude and shows no kind of compassion they just say basic stuff like your case is still pending and they will send me to a VM and no one ever calls back she will send Grace emails and leave VM for her to call her and will never will we still waiting to see if she has the correct address so my wife can make sure she gets correspondents she needs to get her settlement till this day she GG has not called nor acknowledged they have the new address. We think this is very disrespectful and unprofessional on this law firm about the rudeness and not following up on her case why does she have to call when they have the case after 10 plus years she has only have had No phone call updated all just by her calling herself and them sending ppwk. This is not professional at all.

Well I don't agree that we should rate lawyers like we would comment on a meal at a restaurant, but I do believe Nathan Cohen had my best interests in mind when he tried my case it was a long drawn out custody nightmare and he reassured me throughout the whole thing, even calling me in the evenings to make sure I had the correct information. When I had problems getting off work he came in on Sundays to get my case ready for trial. I selected Nathan is my attorney after interviewing three other lawyers

I used Mr. Cohen when my ex tried to modify our divorce decree to pay less child support. Mr. Cohen gave me great advice through the whole process and I ended up getting an increase in support and some of my attorney fees paid by my ex. Mr. Cohen was so professional in court and I could tell he was well respected. Even though I wish I had not had to pay for a lawyer, I was astonished by how much my ex had paid to his attorneys compared to what my own fees were through Mr. Cohen.
I'm one happy momma that Mr. Cohen got me to keep custody of my kids and an increase in support. I would recommend him to anyone who needs an understanding and knowledgeable attorney!

I wouldn't hire this clown with your money. Impossible to contact, no information at all about upcoming court dates, it seems no attention at all was given to my case. A simple divorce took almost 2 years. On top of it all, my Ex violates the child custody agreement, and he says there's nothing he can do. What a complete joke.

My highest recommendation for Scott. Very smart, knowledgeable, dedicated, and stays calm in the fray. If I ever had a question, I got help. He truly cares. My only wish is he would have been my one and only lawyer as he corrected 5 big mistakes previous lawyer made in short order. He was instrumental in alleviating a lot of my pain throughout with his explanation of strategy, what the judge does / doesn’t care about, and what we would do to counter a very adversarial opposing counsel.
Important note: over dozen lawyers would not take case against opposing firm. Big name law firm also declined, but told me to call Scott. Best thing I could have done.

This attorney was completely unprepared for my divorce trial and it cost me dearly. His questioning of both myself and my former spouse were insufficient. I had numerous questions that I had instructed Jim as my attorney to ask my ex so that the judge could get a clear picture. He said he would use my questions and then did not and did not ask many questions of his own. Not sure how this guy is still in practice. DO NOT HIRE HIM unless you want an unprepared attorney representing you in court. I would classify my representation as NEGLIGENT. I almost fired him during the trial for incompetence. In hindsight, I should have as I would have been better able to represent myself.

I hired Arthur Margulis because the state brought charges against me. I have to say I was not totally innocent but the corruption by St Louis County police investigators to manufacture evidence and willingness to lie, as well as assualt me, damaged their own case. Mr Margulis did an excellent job demonstrating to the jury STLCPD duplicity. Acquittal is one of greatest words in English, & I have stayed out of trouble since. The financial burden of the trial and the personal stress on me & my family are something I would not wish on anyone. I suspect the abuse by STLCPD is seldom challenged in court, or by the press.

Hire Mr. Margolis and his son William to defend me on Federal Bank Fraud indictment. Although he promised to fully defend me. After he was paid full retainer of $150,000 ( $50,000 of it if the case went to trial ) he told me I had to accept a plea deal and he refused to refund the "for trial portion". He failed to provide any defense and did not object to anything at sentencing. nor did he offer any substantive evidence or argument on my behalf.
Only upon my insistence, he submitted an objection to pre-sentence report inaccuracies and violations of sentencing guidelines. He subsequently withdrew the objections, " because the it made the US Attorney upset". Due to this lack of adequate representation my sentencing and restitution were grossly inflated.

If I could give zero stars… Colleen was the GAL for my granddaughter and did her a complete injustice. My granddaughters father is an alcoholic and at 6 months of age he gave my granddaughter a black eye and pulled a gun on my daughter and granddaughter. He now has 50/50 custody and cries any time she has to be alone with her father. We paid thousands of dollars for absolutely nothing. Colleen is a complete waste of an attorney and should never have any type of authority over a child.

Attorney Coleman failed to file a claim on time regarding my case. Her lack of professionalism caused me my day in court. She promised to pay all expenses incurred including my medical bills and personal compensation owed to me. I've since retained another attorney and she has even ignored communicating with him. I caution anyone thinking of engaging with her as she also does not carry malpractice insurance for instances like my own. If she had, her insurance company would have been involved in her misguided deeds. Failing to file a claim is inexcusable.

But once she has your money, That is the last time you will ever see or speak to her again. Please don’t ever hire this woman for anything. She took my money 3 months ago for traffic tickets and still has yet to do any work for me at all. I still have active warrants. Every week I’ve had to reach out to her for updates and she continuously told me the same thing each time we spoke. She kept telling me she was working on getting me new court dates which she never got for me. I called and got new court dates on my own today and did all this within an hr. She is not willing to refund me any of my money so I will be going forward with a BAR complaint against her and I will also be taking her to small claims court to make her pay me my money back and for wasting my time. If I could give 0 stars I would.

During the almost 2 years of retaining this lawyer, I always felt as though nothing I asked for to be mentioned in court was ever done. No motions filed not anything that would be helpful in gaining ground on my children's return home. I feel as though mainly all she was doing is just collecting money not really focusing on the seriousness.
