It's amazing what a google search can do. Ellen represented me for my disability retirement hearing with the City and County of SF. I would've been lost without her. She has so much experience dealing with The City that she knew people by first name. "Oh, so-and-so? Yup, no problem." I knew I was in good hands. I was recently in a difficult--and frankly, scary--dispute with my landlord, and initially felt completely intimidated and overwhelmed by the situation. Joanna helped salvage a miracle in my case despite really terrible facts. I appreciate that she has the foresight to think about multiple case-relevant future developments. I almost snatched defeat from the jaws of victory by having a problem in rehab. Joanna helped me to recover from this too. Her combination of being both savvy and friendly was crucial to producing a good result with the rehab administrators. I am certain I would be in a much worse position if I had tried to interface with them on my own. I credit Joanna for recognizing the importance for my case of helping me with those interactions, and not just what happens in court.

Joanna Sheridan saved my life.
I was arrested on December 14, 2006 and charged with four felony counts involved in a
$ 250,000.00 fraud case. My case struggled for more than 7 1/2 years with frequent delays and lack of of requested discovery from the D.A. until my first attorney became so ill that he could not continue working on my case.
At the time that Joanna Sheridan and her firm became my attorney I had lived with the daily tension, anxiety, and fear that my fate might be that I would die in prison for a crime that I did not commit.
I sincerely felt that if I were to go to prison to have to survive the horror of the battlefield of daily prison life at my age of 67 years old that I would not live. During my early career I had been employed as a nurse within a California State maximum security prison and had witnessed the unpredictable trauma and psychotic behavior with occurs daily within the prison walls. I realized that I too might also become another prison fatality.

My family hired Angeli Fitch while I was in jail. It was the beginning of a three day holiday, and they called her on a Friday night. Her paralegal took the call and spoke to my wife. I got a visit from her in jail the next afternoon, and when we went to court, she got my bail reduced so my family could bail me out. Her office is very professional and resourceful. I've been a taxi driver in the Bay Area for almost 8 years. I made a terrible decision and I was facing a one year loss of my license. I wouldn't be able to pay my rent or provide for my family so I was terrified. Incredibly he won my DMV hearing and I got no license suspension. My case was eventually dropped and never went to trial, but not before 8 months of pretrial in which we had a hearing on some evidence . For my last criminal case I interviewed several attorney through out the state. Danny was referred to me by a close friend. After Danny traveled two hours to see me for no charge he thoroughly went through all of my paper work and discussed my case. He never over promised just over delivered, Not only is Danny awesome but so is the rest of the Jackson square law team. 4 other lawyers told me I was looking at a minimum of four years. Danny and his team fought hard and short only nine months and I ended up with 54 days house arrest. They saved my life and my relationship with my now wife. Not only have they helped me out but several friends now. We all call him the white Johnny Cockran! I have seen him beat case over case. The office charges a little higher retainer at first but with all of the hours they put in at the office and other areas they charge way less by the hour. Call Danny, Lisa, or Zenia if you appreciate your freedom you will not regret it.

Mr. Zilversmit got my conviction reversed, and after it went back to the trial court he got the case dismissed. Even though I was innocent, I lost faith in the justice system, but Mr. Zilversmit restored my faith. He reviewed my transcripts and found errors that the Judge made that my trial attorney didn't even know about. He is amazing.

An excellent attorney. It's a surprise that Mr. Waggener isn't rated higher. I was facing 14years for a crime I didn't commit (meaning I was charged with multiple charges 1 I was rightful guilty for but the other 3 counts falsely) they had a victim that wrongly I.D me as the suspect, & Not only did Mr. Waggener prove that the Victim made false testimony by wrongfully identifying me, Mr. Waggener also proved that the POLICE DETECTIVE couched the Victim & advised the victim that I was the suspect. While she was not my lawyer directly she was my sisters. We were very pleased with Alexis and her fire and wit. She is smart and kind and can be as nice and sweet as she can be brilliant and direct. She handled our criminal case of opening a Medical Marijuana dispensary. We worked for a year and half with the county no ordnance was passed for or against. Well we were arrested 6 months after we opened. We are three sisters and a nephew sisters retired and in their late 50's and early 60's. We did nothing wrong and she defended us admirably. After two years the case was dismissed and we are to get all of our product back. She was true to her word on her costs with incidentals decided upon up front. Attorney Sanchez Mora provided me with support during my residency process. His thorough knowledge of the UCSIS online system helped me to retrieve my approved waiver. Obtaining a copy of my approved waiver was a very difficult and lengthy process but through his help I was able to obtain a copy just in time to make it to my interview in Ciudad Juarez.
