I hired Ricardo for my Child Custody case. I had watched him on a prior case of his and felt very comfortable with his approach. I later found out that he is very experienced and knowledgeable in the types of law he practices. He was excellent at trial and truly cares about his clients and their needs. I would use him again in a heartbeat if I needed to. I will also recommend him highly to anyone who needs a family law attorney or any sort of criminal defense.

This company was retained to assist someone trying to steal my land. They clearly have a losing case. This firm has delayed every email and settlement offer presented to them. They takes weeks or months to respond to calls and emails if at all. It is clear they are doing this to delay the process to rack fees for their clients. Read all the horrible reviews about this firm online and how they treat their own clients and opposing counsel offering them more than generous settlements. We have 7 attorneys and have never experienced this kind of unprofessionalism. Even our property insirance company and the firm retained said this is the most unprofessional communication ever. All they have to do is agree to a settlement but they delay the process to rack of trial fees and do not communicate with clients or opposing counsel. Read all the horrible reviews before hiring these people.

I retained their services for help with business contracts, and business partner discussions. They were extremely prompt, thorough, and helped me succeed with positive outcomes. I first worked with Imants, then mostly with Phil Neale. Phil was very easy to get a hold of, and constantly updated me on progress. Every time I called in, he either answered the call right away, or called back very shortly afterwards. Highly recommend, and we will retain their services when needed again in the future!

Mark was awesome! He helped me vacate a misdemeanor so that I can get a second chance and move on with my life. He knew the statute well and how to represent my case. He was very quick and thorough in preparation and because of his bullet proof motion and supporting docs, the judge granted the motion. Mark didn't stop there, he followed up with the court clerks and Washington Patrol to follow up on my case so my record is cleared and the vacated case info doesn't show up in background checks. He proactively followed up with relevant authorities and kept me updated via emails and phone calls along the way. All for a low flat fee! I highly recommend Mark for any of your defence needs.

Several years ago, Mark was my public defender for a DUI case and was miraculously able to make a deal with the prosecutor outside of court to reduce the sentence to Reckless Driving with minimal consequences. Years later I needed an attorney and did not hesitate to reach out to Mark, now practicing from his private firm. Mark was able to get the case closed completely with no consequences. He is very knowledgeable and experienced in the Seattle court system and well connected with government attorneys and judges. He was also very generous with his rates and efficient with the time he spent. He genuinely cared about my well being and I consider him a friend now. Thanks Mark!

At my last meeting with him he threatened me and then questioned my sanity. He was very unprofessional. I am left with no representation days before court now. I have legal trouble for simply moving a tree off of the road! The police seem to have been targeting me for a long time. They have taken my rights away and wrote a bogus report after I was bit by a dog. Just days later they came and took me for my first, "education" in mental hold. After I got out a few weeks later I was driving near my home and to a tree in the road. Somehow with a little help from a man who I never saw before... I was able to move the rather large tree off the road. Then the police came. Put me in "County" jail for almost 2-weeks. Then I got Tim to "help" me defend myself against the tyrannous EPD. He recommended I put the trial off. I never told him y/n. At the second hearing he asked, "Do I want to Double Down?". I still do not know what that means? Anyway he got the trial set Earlier! Then I met with him and he said, "You have a mental problem". I walked out. He has no right to question my sanity. I am completely coherent, get plenty of sleep, and am working now. Unfortunately I just started working and have very little savings to hire REAL defense.

I was involved in a collision with an uninsured motorist in Fall 2023. At the advise of a friend, I contacted Andrew Cherin to assist me with the claim mediation with both my auto insurance and my health insurance. He was able to claim me the maximum payout from my auto insurance, and got my health insurance to waive any reimbursement out of the auto claim! I am positive things would not have gone as well as they did without his help. I pray that I never need his services again, but for sure know that he's the one I would call if I do!

Was referred to this firm by multiple people/ lawyers. I shouldn't have even wasted my time. Got more of a story about how they sympathize for my situation but basically because I'm a federal employee I'm not entitled to the same rights of protection as the general public, according to them. This is even with a judgment from the county court in my favor in regards to the matter. They just simply couldn't help with the employment matter. I suggest looking elsewhere for legal help.

They put you through an inital intake process which is positive. I wanted a quick end to my divorce and was happy to compromise to make it happen. Our goals seemed to align.
Unfortunately this firm provided poor council during the first phone call with the attorney. Luckily this did not lead to a financial move that would have put me in violation of a court order. Later the attorney wanted me to provide documentary evidence he had previously advised against in an aparent 180. Such documentation was previously claimed to put me in legal liability. What can I believe?
Very disappointing.
Divorce is tough enough. I hired an attorney becuase I am no legal expert and I wanted a quick, mediated end to my marriage. Instead I get bad and changing advice. Plenty of good reviews of these guys. Hope I'm an outlier.

Hello... I just drove from Issaquah to North gate to speak directly to this firm... the lady who is asian told me by phone I could come up to speak to her... Why because I need an lawyer.... I come up to 2nd floor and this asian guy open the door in a defensive position.... Darryl Parker they say is retiring... but regardless there are signs stating civil rights... And these folks who are asian working for this lawyer are very rude and seem to be uncomfortable when dealing with a blk man or just a man with no color who needs info on a lawyer... They claim to have more lawyers.. this is why I had came.... facts...

Hire this team! We started working with Joesph & Hetrick a few years ago and honestly it’s one of the best financial decisions we’ve ever made. John Henry Browne was the biggest blunder in my federal case. He was so unprepared for trial that the prosecution labeled him "pathetic." The judge also later described his representation as poor and inadequate. Anyone facing criminal charges for the first time might feel overwhelmed and fall into the trap of hiring someone with an inflated or manipulated reputation.
The only times I met John were during the initial consultation and to pay him trial fees. The suppression hearing was handled by an incompetent attorney (C.S.) who was nearly ejected from the courtroom by the screaming judge. He fired the only attorney handling my case just days before trial, with whom he had a falling out in another courtroom, later becoming the town's gossip. It's clear now that JHB ensured I didn't have a defense and wouldn't have the opportunity to make a record. JHB did not meet with me after I was convicted and locked away. He told me it was a better place to argue my case on appeal rather than the district court, and besides, he was going on vacation. The judge had few words on record regarding his vacation priority. There were instances of slurred speech and clown-like behavior that made us wonder if he was on drugs or perhaps heavily medicated due to some condition. Turns out he's a known junkie!
The case was later handled by a few more inexperienced attorneys, another one (C.V.) to be yelled at and nearly thrown out of the courtroom by Judge Robart, whose behavior raised concerns about his mental stability, to say the least. Unfortunately, it isn't easy to find court filings and transcripts where the public could gain better insight into JHB. Sadly, these real reviews might not do much, as he's enjoyed himself for far too long at the expense of desperate people. I hope no one has to deal with him because your future options may have to be creative and well-motivated. It's best to avoid JHB altogether; nothing good can come of him.
