I received a driving infraction for "per electronic device while driving" from the WSP in Pierce County, WA. I chose Ms. Gallinger because she has a very good reputation within our community (Military). I also found that Ms. Gallinger has a good reputation within our local area so I felt confident that she could help with this issue. Also, I was charged a reasonable flat fee for service. I liked the fact that I did not have to take time out of my day to meet with her or even to show up at the courthouse. My case was dismissed so I don't have to talk to my insurance or my employer about what happened. Meaning that I don't have to spend more money on insurance and I don't have to deal with my bosses and listen to them about how this looks on our organization. Thank you Ms. Gallinger, if I ever need a traffic attorney again, you’re at the top of my list.

Having a great experience with a lawyer sounds like an oxymoron. However, that is the truth. Expert advice, quick, thorough, and most of all HONEST!! He ensured my charges were dropped and listened to the whole person, my whole story treated me with dignity and was honest when it came to fair pricing for services. Excellent Lawyer!!! First off let me say I have never been so scared in my life as when I got arrested and charged with two felonies. What's worst of all is the crimes I was accused of I did not commit. I was facing five years behind bars minimum. I was given a public defender which I didn't hear from at all for a whole week. Thus starting my quest to find a good lawyer.
I needed to find a lawyer I felt confident would represent me well. I went to seven different lawyers accompanied by my brother, before speaking to Mr. Graves. I heard all similar things from the seven previous lawyers. They all seemed more interested in getting paid then proving my innocence. My first meeting with Mr. Graves we spoke for about two hours about my options and what his plan of attack would be. I felt very comfortable in his skills, ability and experience. My brother who accompanied me during this process felt Mr. Graves was the best for the job.
My case dragged on for almost a year and each step of the way Mr. Graves kept me updated. He was very prepared for different scenarios that might have risen and gathered as much information about the case as he could. After almost a whole year of dealing with my case it ended with a dismissal! I could not have been more joyous and relieved and I owed it all to Daryl Graves. If your looking for a lawyer with grit and honesty Mr graves is someone highly worth considering. Lastly, on a personal note, I was very impressed with him not only as a lawyer but as a human being.

I was charged with two counts of a gross misdemeanor in 2020 by a Lakewood police officer. Prior to the incident, 2020 was a big mess for me. However this incident was mind numbingly bad and surreal. It all basically stems from me (I do regret drinking at the park) drinking at a park, taking pictures and talking on the phone… Cops who patrol the park every 30 minutes approach me. This is where things turns messy, though I complied with the cop orders, I was triggered by him accusing me of saying “inappropriate things to underage girls” even though he did inform me to leave before saying that, however my mindset was “if you felt that was true you should have never gave me the option to leave” needless to say we got into a hostile like argument, the cop visibly angry and frustrated grab my wrist and arrested me… later found out through Kurt that he wrote a false, disgusting,gross,humiliating police report about that incident with hopes of a conviction. Basically it was a classic crooked cop tactic, but then again, I gave him fuel since I was drinking, and I did argue with him, but you live and learn, 2020 was a year we all want to forget, and of course learn from….. *conclusion* Kurt Stender was the perfect attorney for this case, the man was perfect. Calm,cool, and collective. Very logical, he has a keen sense of common sense, very understandable, he has an instinct that detects whose truly innocent and most importantly, a very honest and sincere attorney throughout this whole ordeal. My case was ultimately dismissed, I asked Kurt about an expungement, he said I wouldn’t need one after the dismissal. What more can you say about this man?

I was charged with a Felony >1-year after I called the Sheriff's Office to report an attack upon myself, family, and pets; during which our house-cat had been mauled to death on our front porch by a pack of marauding dogs. I was knocked to the ground of my front porch during the attack with vicious dogs atop. Said large black guard dogs were cited under RCW 16.08.100 repeatedly over the year prior/after to the attack(s) upon my household, even cited for trespass for the attack that night. Sadly, over the years involved, even more livestock/pets were attacked, even a few other humans.
The Sheriff's Office has stated repeatedly that I did what I had to do to protect myself and others from even greater harm. 11-months of court circus later, the Prosecutor's Office finally Dismissed the Felony Charge. Self-Defense does include defending self, others, and property from attack by a trespassing, marauding pack of known-dangerous dogs; especially includes being on your back on your front porch while attacked.
Kurt defended my family from the circus of court proceedings. He helped me navigate the emotional roller-coaster of being wrongfully charged when in fact I was the wholly innocent victim of a violent crime. Kurt went above and beyond to ensure that my professional career and my family were shielded and protected.
Self-Defense is under attack. Kurt was my Legal Defense in Criminal Court. Through Kurt's intricate and extensive knowledge of the Legal System, the Case was Dismissed just prior to Jury Trial.

When I got in trouble I was young and scared. I was not legal yet and my parents made me figure out what I was going to do all on my own. After shopping around for many weeks in the Tacoma area, meeting with 12-15 different lawyers. Bill from the jump stood out to me. First off, he let me come in for my consultation after I got off work which was at 7 and those are not business hours. Then he was so non-judgmental and caring and so knowledgeable. He let me cry and cry and promised me I was in good hands. When Bill told me his rate for a DUI charge i knew I couldn't afford it and I was extremely bummed. For the next 3 weeks Bill would call to see how I was, see how school was going. He cared about me so much and wanted to work with me. Finally after a few weeks he asked me how much I could afford on a lawyer. I was honest with him and told him I couldn't afford the rate he was asking. (Its not extreme, i was just working part time in fast food) He came down and we agreed upon a rate that worked for the both of us. Before every court date he told me everything that the judge was going to say and what I needed to say. He was proud to present me. He spoke very highly of me to the judge. Bill really is on our side and he loves his clients. He will go the extra mile to make sure that you are comfortable. His kids are also lawyers and work for him sometimes. They are also AMAZING. I felt just as comfortable in court when his son represented me then when Bill did. He taught his kids well. Bill is just all around the best lawyer. I ran the gamut of attorneys before finding Natalie and honestly I was getting quite discouraged. I spoke to leagues of highly recommended and sought after attorneys who have clear reputations for winning cases like this, and I can tell you that I was more impressed with Natalie in the first two minutes of our conversation than with any of the other professionals, even the ones with over 21 years of experience. I have heard many people complain that once retained, attorneys become less communicative and less responsive. With little to no introduction, Natalie came on board and did more for us than over the course of time that has been done within her control in less than 2 hrs. I called Attorney Nigel Malden's office. His Legal assistant is a very kind, warm and friendly lady. I explained what our case was about his legal assistant informed me to send the documents that I had regarding myself and husband's case, and she would discuss it with Attorney Malden. After submitting the documents requested it was within two days we got a response from Mr. Malden's office to inform us that he would represent us. We had a meeting at his office and the very first time that my husband and myself met Mr. Malden and his legal assistant. We felt like we had known them a long time because they both have a warm friendly way of making you feel very comfortable. After Mr. Malden finished reviewing our documents he told us the pros and cons of what could possibly be the outcome of our case. Mr. Malden detailed with us how he would present our case before the Court. Mr. Malden gave us advice how we should act and respond to questions that were asked of us by the Judge himself or the opposite party's attorney. He kept us focused on what was important and the things that were not, he advised us accordingly. Mr. Malden gave us ample time to discuss our case, he inquired of us if we understood what he was saying whether it was a legal answer or regarding what we might expect in court. Mr. Malden is a very friendly attorney with expertise and experience in the law.
On our Court day Mr. Malden put his all into presenting our case with vigor, power and strength. He put his all into representing us with a 1-2-3 sucker punch he came out swinging hard and heavy with the law,evidence and the hard truth. We are so proud of Mr. Malden's representation. I was so proud of him that I wanted to jump out of my seat with joy to give him a big hug right there in the courtroom but I didn't, I waited until court was over then gave him a big hug and a thank you,my husband was very pleased also. If we ever need any legal representation Mr. Malden is the attorney that we would call in a heart beat..He is very unique he is not your average attorney he's not only an attorney but the way he operates in the courtroom I see him as a General who knows how to take the lead.
