I had a little too much to drink one night while vacationing in Vancouver and managed to get myself arrested for DV. I had never been in trouble before and I was terrified. The other inmates filled me in on how things work in WA, I was convinced my life, as I knew it, was over. When I was released and made it back to my home state I hired Joe to represent me. Not only did he manage to make sure I didn't have to fly back for the first hearing, I just got a phone call from him stating that he is looking at my Motion to Dismiss! I was arrested for my first Dui in August 2014. I was very scared and wasn't sure what this meant for my future. Mr. Loughlin was recommended to me from a friend. The very first thing he was able to do is get my first court date rescheduled so I could take the vacation I had planned several months in advance. next, he warned me that very few people win their case against the Washington
Licensing Division. he did some research on my case and by presenting the proper evidence, he was able to win this for me. I had a pretty unique situation, and because of this he worked very hard with the prosecutors and was able to get an offer that I was happy with. He kept me very informed of my options and what the process would be every step of the way. I would definitely recommend him to others!!

Mr. Bogar was the attorney for the defendant charged with Assault 2. I was the victim who filed charges. At the trial his cross examination was very tough on me. His client was guilty but that did not stop him from using every tactic he could. Fortunately for me, the evidence was overwhelming and the jury found the defendant guilty. However, Mr. Bogar was impressive. Even though he was representing the other side in a no win scenario, he was very professional and intelligent. If I ever end up needing a great attorney, Mr. Bogar is at the top of my list. He is very effective and commands respect from the prosecution side. His reputation is excellent.

We consulted with Rob on a criminal defense case. Rob is a remarkable lawyer. He was very thorough in our case and took time to sit down with us to think through and explain everything on a day he normally would have been off. There were a lot of moving and complex pieces to our case, and we came away feeling significantly less anxious about the process.

I was in traffic Court for a serious trumped up charge of 2nd degree negligent driving that was issued by "Truck Driver Hater" Patrolman. This citation would have damaged my ability to have any gainful employment of any kind, never mind truck driving. I caught the attention of Mr. Phelan after he won a case for a client, and asked if he would consider to represent me before he returned to his office.
I had reason to suspect after observing the Judge in one other case, that he might not be as fair to me as he should be if I did not have representation. In a short period of time Mr. Phelan reviewed my evidence, and was able to determine that my citation was clearly unjust. Several minutes later, he had my citation dismissed. I think he has great skills and abilities, and I will remain very thankful to him for the professional and prompt manner in which he helped me.

We recently settled in Washington from another state. We bought a house and needed to update our estate documents to the Washington jurisdiction. I did some looking for an attorney and selected NW Legacy Law. We are leaving the country for a while and needed to get our documents done pretty quickly. In May of 2023, I received a call that no parent wants to receive. Two of my children(young adult and teen) had been in an altercation that resulted in both potentially needing medical care and facing assault charges. Which as both of their mother, was causing a lot of grief and stress.
Not only my minor had defied curfew and rules but my son had been involved.
My son was on his way to a military career and a life with his new family. My daughter was trying to heal and move into preparation for college. We received a summons for court 2 weeks after my son shipped off to basic training. We thought we had handled the horrible situation within the family, created a safety plan and set very harsh boundaries. Now, the state was pressing assault 4 charges.
I called my own father who is a federal attorney and asked what our next steps should be. He said hire an attorney. I scoured the internet and read through reviews. Skipping the ones that were unreal expectations not fulfilled. Mr. Priest was the only one that I could gather was going to handle the case as we needed.
We called Mr. Priest, he gave us a reality check. He did not sugar coat the situation. He explained what we were facing and all possible outcomes. He did not give false hope. He made no promises. He explained a few ways to handle the case. I told my son Mr. Priest was a good choice.
Mr. Priest got started and with my son being in another state, again did not give us hope that a virtual attendance was a possibility and thoroughly explained the law surrounding domestic violence cases. We never once had any unrealistic outcomes which is HUGE in these situations. We followed every thing Mr. Priest advised.
When the original plan fell through, Mr. Priest had another one. Again, keeping us grounded in reality.
Today, we had a trial readiness hearing scheduled and Mr. Priest had filed a motion letting the courts know we had done everything within our family to insure nothing would happen again. My son’s case was dismissed.
For my son and myself, we are survivors of domestic abuse and watched our attacker walk free. We know that the court system’s time and resources could be better utilized in situations where people are at risk for horrible outcomes.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Mr. Priest is the best choice to represent you or your loved ones.

I honestly think this guy just didn't like me for some reason from the jump even though I paid him a considerable amount of money I couldn't afford in the first place he was unhelpful and sort of acted like I was dumb and burdening him at all times he didn't even get me a reasonable deal seeing as how I wasn't even driving at the time of my arrest as well as no real proof other than police lying in their reports I paid him thousands of dollars for him Literally to do nothing for me.

Matt. Is an extremely personable, positive and smart lawyer. He. Always made me feel like I was important, worthy of his time and treated me like I was #1 , even though I'm sure he had other very important cases to work on as well. He was so good for my self - esteem and self- worth as I had been in isolated from my for several months ( no contact). He could tell I needed a moral booster to lift myself to focus and concentrate; so we could go stragiize on moving forward. He gave me export opinion and advice but let me. Ultimately take the path I wanted too. I could tell he would be the best lawyer from my first phone call. I think it was on a weekend evening and at least a full hour of free advice. Other lawyers that I called admonished me for my crimes, ridiculed scoffed,,belittled me and talked to me as if I were a bad small child. I was very surprised and they were high profile attorneys that have work in the community. With Matt. So , I would say Matt treats his clients like they are people, worthy of being presumed innocent and worthy of professional help/advice.
He values your time as much as his own. He actually delivered paperwork to me because of covid; . Meetiing me at nearby locations so I would not have to take public transportation. Getting paperwork faxed to me immediately. Always extremely focused, personable and at ease deliverance.m He would call immediately, astonishingly within 2 seconds ! Took away the self doubt and made me feel from beginning to end to stay strong and positive. He is a very smart , astute person and I feel he treats every client equally. So, I have been fb friends or followed Mr Russell for a couple years now & knew when I was ready for bankruptcy he would be the first place I went. He offers a free consultation, & during mine he was so nice & straight forward, explaining everything to me in a way I could understand but did not make me feel dumb lol. I was nervous & left out a pretty big detail (the amount of my debt) & said it was wayyy less than it was (I actually only said the amount of one of my debts) & he told me it would cost more to pay him than for me to pay that debt, & I was like ok & said the total of all my debt, & he looks at me & laughs & was like wait, that's all your debt & not this?
