I cannot say enough about how well Mr. Blair did with my case. He was very informative and answered any questions I had. I cannot possibly have enough amazing things to say about Simon Marle and his entire staff. It’s not only about the lawyer, but the support and staff behind it for me. I called Simon’s office one night, over a year ago in desperation of where to turn and what to do. If you are not a lawyer, and you are involved in any kind of legal case, things can be very overwhelming and knowing what steps to take can be tricky. I called around 6pm and Simon Marle, himself answered the front desk phone. I was very thrown off, because typically lawyer/attorneys will not handle those kinds of matters. He gave me a free consultation about 20-25 minutes on my case. Was VERY straightforward, honest, and to the point. I put my trust in him, and I have NOT been disappointed in any way. His staff, Taylor, Samantha, and Lisa truly care about the clients and really spend their time being personal with you. I love that they address me by name and not by “client”. Samantha has bent over backwards to contact other parties for me and you can tell she put’s her time into her job. She is always on top of it, super respectful and goes above and beyond. Not one time, have I been brushed off or felt like I was being annoying or I have been to well over 5-7 court hearings with Simon. Each time we have gone, it has been a complete satisfactory outcome IF not more. Simon has always been a very caring and honest man. It is really hard to find people now that do not take advantage, or who really just do not spend time with your case. He personally will pull out a file and go line by line with you and explain and questions, details you may have missed or anything you do not understand. I think for me, the best is that it runs as a family unit, and when you are dealing with family courts/judicial issues, having the same mindset in your company, reflects when the clients are in person. He is affordable and I am so very grateful that I decided to go with him. I recommend him to ANY and all my friends and family who ask for recommendations. Simon has had experience in this for decades, and you can tell because his presence in court is respected very much not only by the judges and the staff but also by the other attorneys. Anyone I have ever asked in regards to him, has had nothing but positive things to say. He will not let you be stepped on in court, and he puts time and effort into every case he has. I can see that he is passionate about his career and what he does for people. Simon has been a major influence and change in my families life and we will forever be thankful for him and his entire staff.

I couldn't believe what had just happened to me, I was accused of a felony for shoplifting. No matter how I tried to explain the situation,I was ridiculed and mocked. I felt helpless and scared then I had a free consultation with Simon. Talking to him was easy and I knew I wanted him on my side. I talked to my husband about the consultation and we wasted NO time hiring him.
A visit to his office to discuss my situation, he immediately found an error in the paperwork from the police. Simon was so on top of the case. He put me at ease.
We went to court and he didn't let any the store security get away with anything. I'm not sure we were even in front of the judge 15 minutes when my case was dismissed !! I hope I never have to go to court again but if I should. You better believe I will have Simon next to me. There aren't words to discribe my gratitude .

Mr. Marle accepted my case and situation after a few questions but without a big hassle. What caught my attention about him was that he called me back and listened to me and seemed to quickly pick up what I was going through. I had a family member that was charged w/ DUI, hit and run, and Mike Robusto was our first and only call. He was incredibly knowledgeable, honest, straight forward, and kept us informed throughout the process. He explained how everything would work and what the possible outcomes could be. He took the time to really understand the entire situation which allowed him to make a case that yielded the best result possible.
We had never dealt with anything like this in the past so there was a lot of anxiety from not knowing what the outcome would be. The result was so much better than we could have hoped for. I don't know how he managed to get the result he did, but Mike was such a blessing & we were thrilled to have him in our corner! My husband was charged with a DUI, and Hit and Run. The case was potentially quite complicated and we had never needed a lawyer before so, not only was I nervous about the legal process, it was beyond unnerving to know that my husband's fate hinged on the skill of whomever I hired. I had very little time to search for the "perfect" attorney, but after interviewing quite a number of them, I ultimately hired Mr. Robusto to handle the a case. Mr. Robusto very quickly eased our fears and handled the case in a very professional and ethical manner and I feel that we received the best possible outcome; from start to finish, I never once questioned my decision to hire him. He was very personable and very patient with my legal questions concerning the case, yet he was also very straightforward, which was greatly appreciated! Hopefully this is the last time we will ever need a criminal attorney, but we will certainly be hiring Mr. Robusto again for any legal issues going forward!

I was convicted of assault and battery and I didn’t know which law firm to go with. I found Josue Casanova after I did a google search of criminal lawyers in my area. After speaking with him, I decided to hire him as my lawyer and it was the best decision I could have made. He met with me about 5 times in the span of two months for a significant amount of time and spent a lot of time on my case outside of our appointments. He was attentive, showed that he genuinely cared, and was very personable. He was able to settle outside of court on my behalf and get me what I wanted out of the case. He also didn’t try to get a ridiculous amount of money out of me like so many lawyers try to. Something really neat was that the head of the firm would occasionally join us during our appointments, which was awesome. I 100% recommend Josue Casanova. He is an amazing lawyer and person.

I contacted Ms Sampson after I was involved in a car crash resulting in personal injury. She reviewed my case, presented my options and vigorously fought the auto insurance company of the at fault driver. They tried to get me to settle for far less than I received, and Ms Sampson never gave in to their less than sufficient offers. I would recommend Ms Sampson to my family and friends and would call her again should I need legal assistance in the future.

Sandra Sampson was my defense lawyer for 3 Felony charges in the City of Norfolk. The charges had a combined maximum sentence 30 years in jail and up to $100k in fines. I contacted Ms. Sampson the day after my arrest and she immediately took up my case. She kept me informed through the processes and always presented all of my options, their consequences, and, if I asked her questions about the proceedings, she gave me informed answers. The entire process from arrest to outcome took only about two months, and as the title states I received a nolle prosequi (no contest) for each charge against me. Thanks to Ms. Sampson's efforts, I got the outcome I deserved and my good name isn't tarnished.

After going through a 2 year custody battle with my ex-husband, 3 continuances and still no court date, I hired Ms. McClenney and she got me a court date quickly. The day of court, Ms. McClenney appeared ready and well prepared to fight for me. After it was over I was in the court room in tears because I could not believe that I finally got my day in court and a court order granting me sole custody of my daughter! Mr. Pugh was our custody/visitation lawyer. He knows his stuff inside and out and after working with him, if we needed to hire an attorney again, we would have zero hesitation hiring him again. We had swapped from another attorney, also known in the area, to try a chance with Mr. Pugh after using the services of his partner, Mr. Karpov (who's equally impressive), and it was the best decision we could have made. Our previous lawyer was very hesitant and submissive in their advice to us each time an issue occurred which was frustrating. In contrary, Mr. Pugh was straight to the point and confident while seamlessly rolling with the punches in action. He advised us realistically and in a style that matched my husband's needs and made us feel secure walking into the court. Greg Pugh is one of those old school lawyers who doesn't have to pay to be at the top of a website. If you understand anything about the legal industry you understand what I am talking about, I unfortunately went through a rough patch in life and got arrested for DUI two times within a year. The first lawyer I hired had a hundred 5 star reviews, I paid $5000 for my first DUI... BIG mistake I was sold and thought I had to of been hiring the best because the price and the reviews. NO I would of got the same deal had I used a public defender... it was an expensive learning lesson however after that painful experience I took the advice of someone who referred Mr. Pugh. Mr. Pugh did not sell me and tell me he was going to hold my hand like the previous attorney. I went on the fact he has been practicing for over 30 years, I was nervous because I was at risk of losing my career in the military and facing serious jail time. I respected his resume and prayed I wasn't going to get results I got from the first lawyer I hired. Well case was dismissed and I was charged 1800.00 ... I will never recommend anyone else and I am happy that there are still good people in this world that are not just trying to make a quick dollar and pretend to care about my military career and future. The case was one where a family trust was questionably liquidated by the trustees to the exclusion of some of the beneficiaries. Earlier, another attorney had advised us that the harm to trust's excluded beneficiaries was not actionable and would probably result in the beneficiary plaintiffs being disinherited. Legal research by Ms Zizzo revealed a practice which worked around the loophole in the law which discouraged beneficiaries from bringing action against trustees with power of appointment in a trust . This resulted in a lawsuit that eliminated the risk of disinheritance and the case was settled out of court for six figures going to each of the wronged beneficiaries. Congratulations to Nate Olansen and Alison Zizzo for not only executing this project well but giving us confidence to proceed every step of the way.

Mrs. Coltrain and her assistant were very professional, punctual, and easy to work with from my initial call until my court appearance for reckless driving. She gave me some things to do prior to the court date which the judge appeared to consider in my favor. In the end, the outcome was exactly what I hoped for: reduced to a speeding ticket for 9 mph over. Certainly better than the misdemeanor I was facing for 28 mph over. At the end of the day, the easy answer is to follow the speed limit, but if you find yourself trying to navigate the legal system because you made a stupid mistake, I would highly recommend hiring Mrs. Coltrain to represent you.

Frugal Legal Services should be the staple for how all parents are represented in custody cases. Ms. Burroughs worked hard and diligently on my case and set realistic expectations. My case had a ton of unrelated issues to custody and Ms. Burroughs was completely understanding and worked through our nearly 9 month case. Ms. Burroughs is a magical and enlightening person who gets results. I went from having no contact with my children to now everything is 50/50 and I get to see my sons every other week and have the assurance that no one should be able to change that. The only shame here is that I can only give Ms. Burroughs and Frugal Legal Services 5 stars because it doesn’t let you show off the absolute brilliance of the firm or Ms. Burroughs. Ms. Burroughs and Frugal Legal Services are the prime and top option of any family matters should anyone require those services. I will recommend them for my entire life because of the amazing work that was done.

If you ever find yourself needing an attorney for yourself or in my case my child Attorney Anton Karpov is an excellent choice. As a mother I was extremely nervous my son had found himself in an unfortunate situation that was blown way out of proportion and had to go to court. My child had never ever been in any trouble. Mr Karpov is a straight shooter and very professional. From the consultation to the courtroom he answered all 1000 questions I asked him and made me feel very reassured. His communication was excellent and he kept me informed until the court date. He also took the time to meet with my young teen and spoke to him like a coach or mentor would which I appreciated. You can tell he truly cares about his clients. We had an excellent outcome at court and my son is having his charges dismissed with good behavior. Thank you

I called to inquire if I could be represented by a lawyer here as someone who is no longer a resident of Virginia. They told me it would be a $300 fee to get a yes or no answer to that...
So basically I would pay $300 just to potentially hear,
"No, we cannot represent you if you're not a resident of Virginia."
It takes about 30 seconds to tell someone no.
If the answer was yes, then sure, I understand paying for a consultation...but if the answer is no then what are they possibly going to tell me that is worth $300? That I should brush my teeth every day and wear nice clothing in court in my home state?

I hired Ms. Woods in the hopes that she would represent me and represent my best interest. She was more about the money than representing my best interest. I had to sign my divorce because of how much much she was charging me for text messages. I would rather go with another lawyer that would be helpful and represent me.

Scheduled an appointment for consultation and when I received the appointment it was for a phone call.. I arranged my work schedule for that day to take the call at home for privacy as I work in an office of 2000 associates. She had her office to change my appointment time and move it up and I didn’t even get 24 hour notice that she needed to change the time. Then when I could not they attempted to change to the next day like I can just tell my job I am going to run out whenever I want. She then refused the consultation all together . Very unprofessional and rude.
