I have known Jonathan for over 20 years; he was the first student I had as a drum instructor when I was in college, and I have always liked and had tremendous respect for him. My respect for him as a lawyer is newly acquired, though, and I couldn't be more thankful that I called him! Although I won’t go into detail, I will say that he helped me resolve a terrible situation that could have become a significant burden on my life. By the time I met Jonathan, I had already met with other lawyers and talked to countless people; I was almost convinced that I wasn’t going to be able to find someone who could help me. After meeting with Jon for the first time, I knew I had made the right decision and already felt worlds of weight lifted off my shoulders, and he continued to do that until we went to court. I've needed Jessica's help twice; once for a criminal matter and the other for bankruptcy. Both times Jessica took great care of me during two of the scariest moments of my life. She has done nothing but waste time and money. I would not recommend her as an attorney if you are in need of one. Was very disappointed in her lack of effort to get things handled. I would do your research before even considering her as your attorney. So many great attorneys out there unfortunately I didn’t do my research and regret it. Very professional and knowledgeable of the subject matter regarding my visitation case . Ms Currin was able to bring all parties together and allow that moment for both sides to actually talk and listen. She understood the assignment from the get go and made my job and concerns a lot easier through the entire process. I just gave her my first referral in which will be more to come if necessary . Ms Currin will give you that voice of reason and ease you through the entire process from beginning to end. The family court experience was great. Her office took care of all of my needs and were able to respond to questions and concerns quickly. I would recommend her to anyone looking for legal services. Mr. Cardon was a Godsend!!! I had no idea whom to contact for representation and blindly called multiple Attorneys' offices before Mr. Cardon was highly recommended to me. Several of the others seemed solely concerned about their payment (their initial statements only included the retainer amount and did not even ask my name before hanging up on me). I knew from our first conversation that Mr. Cardon was the attorney I needed in my corner! He was patient and took the time to learn about my situation. He truly showed up in the eleventh hour for my hearing that was scheduled the following morning! I was impressed by his professionalism and understanding, both in and out of the courtroom. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, David Cardon couldn't care less about helping us with my finance case. He took advantage and played me for $750 just to play candy crush in the court room with his hair a mess looking like he just popped out of bed and just "show up". He tried to avoid speaking with his actual client the whole time, stuttered and said UM the entire time while speaking to the judge. My fiance called him trying to discuss his case and David was chewing and eating all in his ear. With his lack of concern a public defender could've done a way better job and they are FREE. Let's not forget after he got us denied bond he ask for $10,000 and told me he would still have to do jail time. And he is a innocent man , I have proof with witness David never utilized. And due to him being a terrible lawyer my fiancé missed the birth of our son who passed away and he never got to meet him bc of this PEICE OF SGIT LAWYER . Now I have hired a WAY better lawyer to recommend for a fraction of the price AND HE WILL BE GETTING OUT . I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LAWYER . This man cared nothing about his client or his case knowing we had a child due very soon and only wanted to take our money.

HE DONT DO S***.... BUT SHOW UP TO COURT!!!! MR. CAMPELL ALLOWED THE COMMONWEALTH OF ATTORNEY TALK HIM INTO GIVING ME SUPERVISED COMMUNITY SERVICE FOR A DOP CHARGE, WHEN THE "VICITIM" WASN'T COMING TO COURT, THE CHARGE COULD HAVE BEEN DROPPED!!!!! BUT SIMPLY BECUASE THE COMMONWEALTH OF ATTORNEY SAID I HAD A RECORD AND I HAVE SIMILIAR CHARGES, MR. CAMPELL AND THE VICTIM ALL OF A SUDDEN ARE ON THE BANDWAGON!!! HE DIDNT DO HIS FREAKING JOB AND FOLLOW UP BEHIND HIM. I HAVE NO CHARGES WHAT SO EVER TO MY NAME! BUT IM THE AFRICAN AMERICAN GIRL WHO MOTHER ISN'T COWORKERS WITH THE COMMONWALTH OF ATTORNEY EITHER!! I was referred to this attorney and he came highly recommended, looking at the Google reviews and the extensive "knowledge" that was noted, I thought it was a no Brainer to higher him! Although, I could have retained another lawyer at a cheaper rate. I wish I would went with a court appointed lawyer and saved $2500.00 because he did absolutely nothing to help me. I payed in full way before my court date and never received a call or consultation (which was odd in my experience). I had to call multiple times just to follow up and see if i could do anything prior to my case to help, no advice was given. My discovery was requested a day before my court case and our first meeting was in the court room for about 5 minutes basically telling me to take a plea deal. I had a DUI and refusal. I was convicted of a DUI and the refusal null processed which basically means nothing was done, I would have achieved the same results representing myself or just pleading guilty to start with. There was no Alcohol test done so you would think it was a win, he didn't even try to get it reduced to wet wreckless or anything. His entire attitude and disposition showed me he really didn't care about the outcome of my case or about me at all. He showed up late each time and was very sinister while speaking with him. I absolutely wish I would have went with another attorney. I have a perfect driving record and no previous criminal record. I subsequently have to have Interlock for 12 months that cost $90. Per month, $400.00 for asap, $220.00 for restricted license and $500.00 in court cost. This is insane and can cause economic hardship for anyone on a budget. You have to have a FR44 on your Insurance which also increases your premium. I made a bad decision the night of my DUI charge and the day I retained this lawyer. I've been bleeding money every since. I get that the law is the law and consequences are standard for certain offenses but I can't help feeling like I had an attorney who didn't care about me. I recommend him to someone else prior to my case outcome. Another mistake. 2023 showed me alot, I'm thankful that I can afford to pay the cost and I have the tenacity to comply with all my obligations. The commonwealth or this attorney will never see me again. If you're going to refuse, refuse everything the field test and breathalyzer, you might spend 6 hours in jail but it will help your case in the future. I made a mistake that will stay on my record for ever, and possibly prevent future career opportunities. You only get one chance, this is your future. I would advise to always speak up for yourself, and if not satisfied excersise your right to request different counsel, the court will grant you a continuance, you may pay a little more because they will still deduct fees for whatever so called work they did, but it could possibly save your record and future. Most importantly obey the law people!! Lesson learned!

Joshua Goff is a walking VA Code encyclopedia that can articulate a very strong defense for his clients. He is the type of attorney you NEED in any criminal matter. When I first spoke with him on the phone, he was very professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, and confident in his ability to defend the case… in court he transformed into a ferocious beast, showing no compassion to the opposition, and swung one of the biggest bats I ever seen in court. I am more than happy with the result and I could tell that Mr. Goff was proud of himself. That was clear indication that he challenges himself to be the best and he cares about his work. The best part about Mr. Goff is that you can tell he is passionate about what he does and being in the courtroom is his element. No matter how bad you think your case is… TRUST HIM! Doesn’t matter what your case is or what you look like… do yourself a favor and at least call him. He is affordable and is ready.

Mark was one of 3 lawyers I did a phone consultation with when I realized that it would be wise to hire representation for my speeding ticket (80 in a 55), which in VA is very scarily a criminal offense (reckless driving) since it was more than 20 miles over the speed limit. Mark gave me the most competitive quote of any of the 3 lawyers I spoke with (flat $500), dissuaded me from doing some of the unnecessary extra tests that one of the other lawyers had suggested I do (e.g., another lawyer suggested I get my car calibrated from a shady-sounding calibration person that would make his report say something favorable to me). Mark was highly responsive via email, and got the job done -- showed up in court at the right day and at the right time, and successfully got my offense downgraded to a regular speeding ticket. I'd highly recommend Mark's services if you're looking for honest, straightforward, and effective representation.

Mark defended my son in a very serious traffic offense. He gave great advice and guidance; we prepared for the case; and he negotiated an extremely good agreement with the prosecutor. I hired Mark for a speeding ticket I received, 40 in a 25mph zone (4 points). His communication via email was excellent and answered all of my questions within the day clearly and concisely. I could not attend the court date so Mark represented me instead. The ticket ended up being reduced to a "Town Code Section-Failure to Pay Full Time and Attention." Because this is a town code, it won't even show up on my DMV driving history! The result was even better than I could imagine. I highly recommend this lawyer. Throughout our email conversations, I could tell he knows exactly what he is talking about. Best lawyer I ever hired.

I am very much impressed by his work ethic and his approach toward difficult situations that came across in my case. I had a serious problem with the federal authorities. One of the biggest federal cases to come through Northern Virginia. Frank Salvato was quick to respond and with his vast knowledge of the federal system, was able to get charges dismissed after a long battle. This was not a one and done situation--my case required a lot of work and dedication. Very happy with the result. Here is my experience with Irina Vinogradsky: I found Irina online to hire her for my H1B RFE response. She and I scheduled a time to make the payment & sign the engagement letter at her office. However, when I visited her office, there was no engagement letter prepared by her. I was running out of time to respond to this RFE and I did trust her to represent my case professionally and paid her the full amount. For RFE, it is necessary to provide expert and education evaluation reports. However, i was the one reaching out to her trying to find a company to evaluate my degree and occupation. However, between October 10 to November 2, only question she did ask me regarding my case was about the organizational chart of my company. My employer got impatient and considered withdrawing the application. Of course, i did ask for a refund. She said she put many hours on my case, and she could refund less than half of what I paid. I agreed, but I wanted to see the draft she worked on. Unfortunately she told me that she was not sure how this draft document would be in use, so she rejected to mail the document. After many attempts, she did mail me the draft documentation. On the document, my salary was shown less than what my company offered me. Also she put on the document that my company needed an H1B worker to support company's operations in China and Vietnam. I mean my company's marketing tagline is 'Proudly manufactured in USA'. My company does NOT operate in China or Vietnam. Plus my salary is way above than what she put on the paperwork! Long story short, I am extremely disappointed. I do not recommend her.

I hired I hired Mirham at S&R after consulting with over a dozen firms in the area. She and the firm were the only ones that did not insult other firms and followed up immediately. After my first telephone conversation with her I was sure I wanted her representing me in court. Mirham represented me in Stafford County District Court for a misdemeanor Reckless Driving Charge. Going into court I was confident she would be able to get the charges reduced, even though I had a less than perfect driving record. She was able to get the charges reduced to a very small fine.

Recommend this firm and Kathryn Cunningham who prepared my documents. I had moved from MD to VA a few years ago and procrastinated about having my Will, POA and Health directive changed to meet VA requirements. Ms Cunningham made the process very easy - everything done by email until the in person signing. There was really no reason to have procrastinated!

Ben Brasfield took my case and when it was all over he said something to the effect of, “If you’re willing to outwork the other side things will go your way”… or something like that…He’s definitely not lazy! It wasn’t advice for me, it was a general statement of how he prepped to take the case, but I still think about that. He’s smart, strategic, thorough, and experienced.
