Super happy about how my divorce was handled. I called around and was shocked at how much attorneys charge. I found this firm and they quoted me a lower cost. They did a professional job and they didn't nickel and dime me. The court system took longer than I would have liked, but it was no fault of my attorney. She explained to me about how the courts work, and she worked with me to help settle all of the things that needed to get done. It was a rough time, but my attorney was great. I would recommend this firm.

This law firm stands with high honors ! They went above and beyond our expectations. My Aunt who has now passed away was extremely happy at the time she asked The Díaz Law Firm, to assist her in filing legal documents for her own Last Will and Testament and was very determined . My late aunt whom was in her 90's hired him as her attorney for her will. My aunt wanted to revoke her will and asked me to contact Mr. Diaz, I called 3 times In which his wife answered everytime and always had an excuse as to why he could not come to the phone, I told her my aunt wanted to talk to him about cancelling the will, Mrs Diaz said each time Mr. Diaz would call us back. We never got a return phone call back from him. Which resulted in many problems with the will after my Aunt passed away.

Our title company told us about this law firm when we needed to have the deed re-written so we called and spoke with Vicky. We mentioned that the title company said it would be $80 and Vicky told us it would take about one week. After calling several times during the next few weeks (and having Vicky fail to return my calls), we finally went to pick it up 3 weeks later. However, Vicky only then told us that it would be $100 and that they required cash or check. Getting to our bank off of Calder was impossible before the law firm closed and so we had to wait until the next week! We then asked her about filing it and she told us we needed to take it to the court house. Two hours after going to the court house and realizing we needed more cash and going through the same ordeal of going to our bank, we called Vicky and realized that she neglected to tell us that she could have filed it for us for the same price the court house charged... You should go somewhere else!

Bryan represented me a little over 10 years ago. The case was extremely difficult and time consuming. There were many ups and downs, but his team was able to discover information damaging to the opposition. You get what you pay for and I paid a lot to win and win is what he did. I would steer clear of hiring this guy, he is arrogant and pushy in his communication with apparently very little time to have a personal conversation to resolve issues his client is having with opposing parties and easily takes offense making it that much harder to come to a win win resolution. But probably drives his fees up that way!

No matter what your needing do NOT hire this attorney. Very unprofessional, is late and does not care. Just wants the money. My case did not go the way it actually should have gone! 5 years after this lawyer I was able to hire a better lawyer who actually got what I deserved and helped my child get out of a domestic violence situation and much more. Please do not waste your time or money. I wish I would have done my research the first time.

If I could give "0" stars I would! When Mrs. Perry was assigned to me, I made several attempts to meet with her and call her, and every time I was told "She didn't have the time to speak with me or meet with me". She drug my case out for almost a year until I finally had enough and confronted her and spoke my mind (it wasn't pretty!)
She then FINALLY met with me, and during that meeting it was obvious she had no idea about my cases. The meeting ended up being productive and I felt better about her representation. I met with her husband who gave me instructions about the format to present the evidence (because I was getting all the evidence together for my defense) during a restitution hearing. I did exactly as he told me. When I was told to bring in the evidence to her office, I did. When we get to court she informs me that she can't understand what I had prepared. She then told the DA that we didn't have any evidence to prove the discrepancies of restitution. The DA then refused to give me a restitution hearing. I was in shock because she did have the evidence! It was how her husband told me to format it, and it didn't take a rocket science to interpret. This lady basically had evidence of some of my innocence and never presented it! I don't call that representation. She preceded to inform me that I would have to now hire an attorney to have the restitution hearing. At least now I can get a REAL attorney that will truly represent my best interest and be my advocate. PLEASE be aware of this lady!
UDATE: She has refused to give me the records I gave her or give me my file. This is an ethics issue with the State Bar of Texas. I have filed a grievance against her.

Yet they continue their scare tactics. There's a special place in hell for companies like this. I was going through a tough divorce from an abusive spouse. Doy was able to move the divorce forward quickly. During our first meeting, outside of Judge Weiser's Courtroom-Victoria TX, Mr. Lewis told me, "We're not going to win. If you don't take the DA's deal then we're going to enhance your misdemeanor charge to felony counts." Immediately, you should notice 2 things: 1. This young man didn't say that we might lose or that there was a high probability of us losing. He said that "we would lose." 2. He said "we're" going to enhance the charges. He didn't say the DA's Office. He said "we're." From the beginning this attorney revealed that he was highly inexperienced and/or nothing more than a "puppet" for the State(looking at this attorney's AVVO profile, you will note that he has been practicing law for a short period in Texas). Our next meeting was at Mr. Lewis's Office. I proceeded to demonstrate in which direction that I desired my case to proceed. Nearly all my suggestions were refuted. Mr. Lewis stated, "I am the Captain of this ship and it will go where I steer it." Excuse me! Excuse me! Correction! This is my life that the State of Texas is playing with; not Mr. Lewis'. It is "my ship" that is being attacked; not his. Now, let me be clear on something! As a minister, I am not supposed to agree to something that I did not do. In regards to the State's plea bargain pertaining to a charge that I was not guilty of, it would be a "lie" before God if I excepted their offer. However, I am guilty of becoming weak during Mr. Lewis's representation. I told him to except the DA's offer which amounted to almost a year in County Jail. On at least 2 occassions, I asked Mr. Lewis if he had heard anything pertaining to the matter. He said that the DA had not yet contacted me and reassured me that the offer of exceptance was on his desk. Eventually, Mr. Lewis was removed as my attorney. While attorney Brent Dornburg was representing me, the same said misdemeanor charge was changed to 3 felony offenses. I asked Mr. Dornburg to check on the offer that Mr. Lewis was supposed to have on the DA's desk. When Mr. Lewis finally responded to Mr. Dornburg, he stated that I never agreed to except any plea bargain. However, I knew that this young man could not be trusted; therefore, I kept records during our association. On 7-19-12, I took such a record before Brent Dornburg. The record consisted of a "motion" that I presented before the "Weiser Court" which explained that I had told Mr. Lewis to except the DA's plea bargain agreement. The motion made it crystal clear that me and Mr. Lewis did not see "eye to eye." The motion made it crystal clear that I had excepted the plea bargain and wanted no discrepancies concerning the matter. What is a lie? As a minister, I have often taught that a lie is when you intentionally deceive or try to deceive someone. Mr. Lee Lewis deceived me, the Court, and Mr. Dornburg. [ the motion was filed in Victoria County Court, State of Texas vs Frederick O. Scott, cause no. 2-98092, filed on or about 10-7-11 ]. At present, I have Mr. Lewis's behavior before the STATE BAR OF TEXAS.

It took me awhile in contemplation on whether or not I should write this review but seeing others' writing, I see that I owe it to myself and others to speak on Mr. Brian Bernard. I was first introduced to him by a good friend of mine who was actually upset with him that he had spent $500 on his daughter's behalf and received no service. He said he was upset with Mr. Bernard for not doing anything and he, his daughter, and his daughter's mother had reached out to him several times and Mr. Bernard became upset. They parted ways but I decided to give him a chance because I felt that any grievance over $500 is DEPLORABLE because I am a pre-law student and I understand that attorneys charge anywhere from $250 to $1000 an hour for their time.
I talked this attorney for the first time last October and he was the cheapest attorney of them all. When I talked to him again this year, the price went up because I needed him to travel I was still good with it because it was 5k and it was cheap for what I needed him to do. He hastened me to get the money and said if you don't hurry, your parental rights will be terminated. Within two months, I had half of his money and a brand new apartment. I gave him the money, knowing he would not do any work without all of it. I made a good faith payment was what I called it. The first time I had ever heard him "bubbly", he called me and appointed me his paralegal. He said he would begin "making a file".
For the next month, he had me collecting my own documents. The paralegal did nothing but sort them in an app. I accepted that because he didn't have to start at all ... I tried to get a loan for the rest of his money and got denied. The loan company stated I had "filed bankruptcy". A couple Fridays ago, I told Bernard how badly I wanted to get him his money but that it appeared that someone had filed bankruptcy in my name and that would prohibit me. I asked him to perform a nationwide search and told him I would pay him for his time. He obliged mentioning nothing of payment. He said he would do it the following Monday
Monday morning rolled around and I woke up to a text, an email, and an app notification from his paralegal, demanding the rest of his money. I texted Bernard about it and he didn't respond. The week went by and I called his assistant to see what was up. I texted her on our group chat and also called his paralegal to no avail. Suddenly his assistant called me and apologized, stating that it was all a misunderstanding and the alerts take place every 2 weeks. She said Bernard could do my search for $750 as it would allow him 3 hours. He has 25 years of legal experience and I knew the search only takes minutes even for a beginner. It was a PRICE GAUGE. She assured me no more alerts would be made and we hung up.
Funny thing is, I had never gotten the alerts in the MONTH I had worked with him. Not ONE...so if they were every two weeks, they would have alerted me at least once right? Plus, who charges someone almost A GRAND to perform a search when they are having issues getting the INITIAL money they owe to GET THEIR KID BACK. I asked for a refund last Saturday and havent gotten a single text, call, or email. I paid him $2000 to be his paralegal for a month and to be presented false hope that he was on my side. What do I think? Well, I think he is money hungry and unconcerned with your personal problems. I think he located the OC in this case and used the documents I collected for him to sell me out, making me think that ALL THE SUDDEN, he was willing to work for half the money, up front. I also think he tried to sucker the money he didn't get from my friend out of me....but who am I ... Just a paralegal in training, on the Dean's List in school, and a double major in Business.

Greetings to all 💝 I would like to share my experience with Attorney Brian Bernard.
I had Mr. Bernard saved in my contacts from a relative in jail that asked me to reach out to him (Brian) in June 2024. About 1 month later my son went to jail and the attorney that I initially reached out to wanted to help for the "low-low" price of $7,500 for a Class "A" misdemeanor with an initial payment of $2,500😂. I sent Brian a text message wanting to know how much should a misdemeanor charge of that nature cost. I was bracing myself for impact of his response (because I am extra broke😂) but his response pleased me. The conversation of the photo is attached💝 Brian had my son out within hours. I was relieved because as parents we want our children to do the right thing and be ok. The day was nearing for me to fly out of town for work, so I was pleased and burden lifted.
Moving forward to August 2024, my Aunt called me upset and stated her son went to jail and it would cost a lot of money for the bail bonds to get him released. I instantly said "Aunty call Brian, I am sure he can help and have him released the same day for a fair price💕 " She said text me his info and I will call him (In her still hurt tone). After my aunty called Brian, she called back telling me how excited she was and I could hear it in her soul💕 Then she told me some fun facts about Brian's career from their in person meet (I paid through CashApp😊 so we did not meet in person). My aunty kept thanking me. I said Aunty we Thank God for Mr. Brian Bernard.
Names to me are very important because what we are called is what we are as well as what we respond to. For example My name is Jacqueline which means "May God Protect Her" and He definitely has throughout my whole entire life💝
Brian means: High, Noble, Honor and dignity
Bernard means: Brave, Hardy and strong
Now look at this fair man walk in his purpose according to who and what he is called.💗💖💝💓

When I met Debra and Jeff Perry I had just had two not so good experiences, so I was very skeptical . So we met I let them know what I needed done and how important it was to me, and Debra let me talk, didn’t interrupt me, didn’t start off pushing dollar amounts, she let me finish , then she let me ask questions. And their honesty I appreciate , she did not say that they would win like I had heard in the past, They said it was up to the Judge , and there were no guarantees, but that they would give me a good legal representation.
