I can’t say enough good things about Ms. Williams and her amazing team of women. I had a scary ex who had walked all over me in the state we lived before and my previous lawyers did not have my back and had written up horrible orders that gave my ex the ability to mess with my daughters life to try and hurt me. Ms. Williams nipped that right in the butt and got us new orders written up that protected me and my daughter. On top of that she was able to finally put him in his place and get us tie breaker. Something we have never been able to have in my daughter’s entire life. My previous lawyer I had to baby sit and I had to fight for my daughter in court while this lawyer stood by and watched my cry. my experience with Ms. Williams was the complete opposite. She had my back the entire time and I am eternally grateful and will contact her if we ever need her again.

Candace is the best of the best! When she took on my case, her and her team spent countless hours and late nights on my case. It was a mess. She cleaned it up and won our case in court. I want to personally thank Mr. Wosnik. He recently represented me in my divorce case. I came to him from an attorney that I did not feel understood me or the gravity of my case. Bill is an incredibly effective, level-headed and thoughtful attorney. Not only did he provide a high level of expertise and guidance throughout the divorce process, he was able to advise on what areas were worth pursuing and fighting and what was not, so that I did not incur unnecessary billable hours. I was also pleased that he was always quick to respond, available for calls, and moved the case along quickly. He remained engaged and up-to-date on the status of my case, and never once passed me along to other attorneys in the firm. I was arrested for domestic violence and criminal tresspass and it was an overwhelming stressful situation. I was very fortunate in finding Jarrett Mailett who was able to see me the same day. I explained my circumstances to Jarrett and he walked me through the legal jargon and guided me through thelegal process. Jarrett was very helpful, communicative, received and answered all questions promptly. Jarrett was able to have the judge drop my charges and dismiss the case. This woman is absolutely amazing. She is the definition of above and beyond. Watching her work is like watching a piece of art being created in front of you. While we did not get the outcome we were hoping for in our case, she made a case that was mind blowing. The only reasoning behind the bad verdict was 90% the jury sadly. Most of them didn't want to be there and made that clear when I heard them talking outside of the court room. The courts in GA are a whole other world I have sadly learned. However I cannot say enough good things about Leslie. I would not hesitate to hire her for anything needed. She not only does an amazing job in every way, but you can tell she truly cares about her clients and their families. The amount of time she spent talking to me alone throughout the process was mind blowing in it's own matter. Even with the case being done she is still helping with the next steps and things she doesn't even need to help me with.
If you need one of the best attorneys in Northern GA, this is definitely one of the first ones you should speak with.

Spent thousands of dollars with this firm and got nothing but excuses and over promises. They would even cancel meetings and when I got the final bill, they’d charge me for when when they canceled the meetings. Makes no sense. Now it’s Christmas and I don’t have my daughter. I would not recommend them. Happy to share the invoice with anyone interested. Such a shame :(

i hired this firm to represent my son in a dui/ hit an run clayton county case, all i can say is you can't go wrong with this firm he ended up with a wrecked driving conviction with a fine less than $500 and 40 hours community service from the municipal court in downtown jonesboro the first atty i hired stole $600 from me and didn't even show up for first appearance so be careful read reviews make sure they have a real office. But back to Thomas R. Barton Firm hire these guys if you want the best representation you can get, they do care it's not just about the money Love Love Love these guys !!!

I was incredibly grateful to meet Craig. He was referred to me through a colleague at a very challenging point in my life. Deciding to file personal bankruptcy is heartbreaking. But Craig showed great compassion and understanding for my situation.
He supported me every step of the way by explaining the process, and was very accommodating with his fees and payment structure. While I hope no one ever has to go through bankruptcy filing, but if that time ever comes, I have 100% trust and confidence in Craig’s expertise and professionalism. What I thought would be a relatively easy go with my now ex-wife turned into a protracted battle of everything. What should have been simple became contested. Thank goodness I decided to go with Emily Yu. She is the best.
If you need an attorney that is laser focused on your needs and desires and doesn't push you in the direction they want, Emily is for you. She is compassionate, articulate and is not afraid to go toe to toe with anyone. I loved how quickly she responded to my questions either in email or on the phone. I especially loved how I never felt like she was over billing me.
There is no other attorney I could recommend for a contested divorce. It's a guarantee that you spouse will not enjoy going up against her and opposing council will know they are in for a scrum. Emily is worth every one of your hard earned pennies.

Having to go thought a divorce is horrible, having to find someone who can represent you is another difficult task. Before I came to this office I went though a few lawyers and they all seemed interested in one thing, money. They all dismissed what was more important to me, my daughter. I thought I was never going to find someone who understood what I needed. Until someone guided me to Jim’s office. At first I was a bit worried because I thought this might be the same thing. To my surprise this was a very different world. I felt heard, I felt like they understood what was important for me. Most of all the one person who helped me throughout this whole situation was Lora. I couldn’t have gone through all of this with out her help. She sincerely opened her heart and shared her help in way I couldn’t began to describe. I know that lawyers are always busy, but when they have someone like Lora, who reminds them of certain situations and someone who cares a lot about what you are going through and does her best to make sure you understand everything that is happening even if it means after hours or on the weekend. This team is full of good people with good morals & will fight & represent your family well. I had a felony charge. I have never been in a mess like that in my over 3 decades of life. Anyway, I was charged for theft. I have never met or spoken directly or indirectly with the “supposed” victim. I called a lot of law firms, although they were willing to “help” me but some things just felt notright - like an attorney telling me “I will help you get a plea deal.”

Ok to start I have literally been using Julie Kert's services for years now, and since I found her she has NEVER let me down! I first hired Julie for a dui that I received in Cobb County almost 10 years ago. I was praying to beat the charges but because I had heard of how strict cobb County can be I knew I needed a really good attorney. I never had hired a top tier attorney at the time but because of the circumstances I knew it would be the best decision for me to do so. I received a ton of letters via mail from all sorts of attorneys and for some reason Julie's stood out to me. I went and met with her for the initial free consultation. I felt very confident with her and I could tell that she was extremely knowledgeable to the point that I decided to hire her that day. I apparently had made the correct decision because Julie was able to get the charges totally dismissed which was amazing, and at that point I knew that she was worth every single penny that I had paid her. Fast forward down the line I had a a situation come up with an ex that I had been living with who had acquired a small misdemeanor marijuana charge at the home that we shared, however even though I was not there when the incident happened the police decided to charge me as well along with the ex who had already admitted to the marijuana. I found out later that I had a warrant from those charges that I didn't know of and was arrested. I called Julie and hired her and when we went to court she was able to have all charges dropped due to the fact that the charges had already been previously charged to someone else. What I have learned in my experience is when hiring attorneys you are paying for the experience and knowledge which is what will win cases. A lesser experienced attorney might not know all of the intricacies of the law to be honest. Given Julie's history and prior work experience as a prosecutor I have no doubt that she knows both sides of the field which is what I think has been very successful in helping me with my cases. I received another DUI years later and decided to go with a friend because I thought that it was a simple case. At the time I technically had never been convicted with a DUI and it was a refusal to blow so I knew there wasn't any hard evidence. Needless to say I went to court and lost that case which should have been a very simple case. The reason being is the attorney was inexperienced. Years later I received another DUI and I decided to hire another attorney again because I didn't think I could afford Julie, however I lost the case and wound up spending more money after the case than what I would have spent if I would have just hired her. And now, what brings me to this review, I hate to admit it but for the sake of this review I will expose that that I have caught the third and final DUI I will ever catch in my lifetime and I made sure to hire Julie because I did not need this DUI to stick because three would be very bad, as if the 2 prior wasnt bad enough. This time however I really felt that I was innocent. Let me tell you that Julie Kert was able to get the DUI thrown out by the judge due to circumstances that only she in my opinion would have been able to execute due to her exemplary knowledge and experience and legal intelligence in the courtroom. It is an honor to watch her work and witness her masterful execution in the courtroom. She has literally saved my life this time around. The earlier situations I was very young and making stupid decisions and this time I really did get caught up in a bad place at the wrong time and she saved my life for me and my family!
