Juitt Jackson very unprofessional they don’t communicate with you. I had court my attorney didn’t show up no one answered the phone. I believe this is a scam they took my money and didn’t offer service to me. I had to represent myself in court, and I was charged $5,500 dollars upfront. The judge have tried calling and sending emails no response I have been try to email and call. They are bad business never use Juitt Jackson law firm

Balean and Kristy kept me sane during the hardest year of my life and I am forever grateful.
I was too nervous to reach out to a divorce lawyer even though it was well past time, so a friend of mine who is a lawyer in another area talked me into it and recommended these two personally. I can't say enough good things so I'll try and break it down into the things that are/were important to me in a divorce.
They are NOT pushy. I was so nervous the first call, I did not want to get a divorce. I even (politely) told them I hope we don't ever need to talk again. They were extremely supportive. Not one single time did either of them push me towards a divorce. They answered all my questions honestly and thoughtfully and I never felt rushed.
On the flip side of that, they are also very cognizant that their time is expensive. So for me, it is very hard to find a lawyer who is constantly aware of running up your tab, but personable enough to trust them and not feel like just another check in the spreadsheet. On top of that, I have ADHD so I can get off on a tangent with the best of them. Both Kristy and Balean we're very good at redirecting me into the areas that mattered and pushing me though the areas that didn't without letting me get hung up on them.
They are extremely prompt (during business hours, I cant speak to otherwise because I don't expect people to work 24/7), I don't think I ever waited a full day for a reply. You WILL feel like a priority. Which frankly with how being a lawyer works, is pretty remarkable.
They know their stuff. I don't know a better way to put that. And if they don't know, they make it a priority to find out. I had a few odd snafus with property issues and a few (lets say less than reasonable) demands from my now ex, and if I had a question they tracked it down if they weren't already sure.
They are generally fun and calming presences. Mediation went for a full day, so Balean was trapped in a room with me for probably 12 straight hours. And if you aren't aware (i certainly wasn't), mediation is very much hurry up and wait. When we had the mediator, it was 100% business. When she was in the other room, we walked through everything we needed to discuss, got advice, and then were able to relax and recharge a bit before the next turn. As you can imagine, its an emotional time. I went from needing to pace the hallways angry to bouncing off the walls bored to everything in between and not once did Balean get even slightly irritated with me. They are VERY aware that you're going though something and that while we need to be efficient there also needs to be room for you to be a person with feelings and needs.
So if you don't read all of that, the important bits are they are going to make you a priority and you'll feel like it, they will not run up your bill for no reason and will be honest when they think something may do so, they give you grace to be going though something hard, while also getting you though it in a prompt and efficient and competent manner. I absolutely would not even consider another legal team if these guys are available. I can't speak highly enough of this firm.

I was working with an other attorney before hiring them but I was not pleased with the way the previous attorney was handling my case. She recommended Melody to me and as soon as I had my first zoom interview I knew that she was going to help me to finalize my case. It was a real pleasure working with Melody and her team. Her assistants are very dedicated and always came back pretty quickly to me.

I hired this firm to handle a wrongful termination case, and it was a complete disaster. They initially assured me they would fight for my rights, but after taking my case, they went silent. I rarely received updates, and when I asked about the progress, I got vague answers and no real plan of action.
After more than a year of inaction, they suddenly dropped my case, claiming they couldn’t represent me anymore—right when deadlines were approaching. Their lack of professionalism and communication wasted valuable time and put my entire case in jeopardy.
This firm is unreliable, inattentive, and does not prioritize their clients. If you need an employment lawyer, look elsewhere."

TERRIBLE LAWYER!!!!! I paid this lady 3000$ almost 1 1/2 yr ago, never answers the phone, or returns my calls and a very inconsiderate person. Last time I spoke with her she called at 5 in the afternoon telling me we had emergency court the next day....but that didn't happen either....also while speaking with her during this same day she said " I'm going to mail you a packet to fill out"..... guess what never got the package.....I went to this lady to get joint custody of my kids. Never thought she was the type to take advantage of you but fooled me...Once she gets your money you won't hear from her again...What crazy is I'm learning that other attorneys in Columbus say the same thing about her, that she's a terrible attorney ....SO I WOULD ADVISE ANYONE SEEKING HELP FROM HER " DONT" .....JUST READ THE OTHER REVIEWS, THEY PRETTY MUCH SAY TJE SAME THING SAYING....ALSO HER LICENSE HAS BEEN SUSPENDED IN GA ....HMMM...I WONDER WHY!!!!!

Hired her for a custody case I 2019. She hardly ever answered emails or phone calls. Sent me a bill saying she worked 11 hours in one day on my case which used almost my entire retainer. They sent me a bill asking for more money and when asked about the 11 hours in one day when we didn’t even have court she corrected it told me I owed more and never actually sent me a correct statement on what she actually used the retainer for. When confronted she told me I needed to hire a new attorney. She’s currently suspended from the bar for not responding to them this is her second suspension for not responding to bar. Please do your self a favor and hire someone else from the start.

Mr. Moody worked with me on my DUI case 08/24/16 and although i felt I had a no hope, He represented me well and I walked out of the court house with two charges droped and walked away free. He was willing to take my cases but not work with me on the payment. This not how I thought my life would be! I had a good paying job and always pay my debts and now because of health reasons I'm unable to work. I would give anything to have representation to maintain my reputation. One was a protection order and I'm 56 years old, I've never abused a woman verbally or physically and I'm not going to start now. This woman is a narcissist(liar & thief). I have severe anxiety, depression, PTSD, deep vein thrombosis and blood clots in my legs with 90% blockage in myy left leg. And I'm a veteran. It nauseates me when all I feel is that out of all the lawyers spoke with(8), I felt as though none of them cared about what this is doing to my mental health. All each of them cared about was $money$. The justice system is not your innocent until proven guilty, I feel like I'm guilty until I prove myself innocent innocent.
This law firm may be good at whatever they do so I'm not going to bash them anymore. This message is what I am feeling. I'll never know if I will recommend them or not.

In response to your ridiculous response,
It's disappointing to see that my reconciliation with my husband has been cited as the reason for my request for a refund. My concerns regarding the lack of service were communicated consistently throughout the process, and I have recorded proof of my requests. Additionally, I have witnesses who were present during my calls and are willing to testify on my behalf.
I urge you to review your own records, as they will corroborate my claims. I have taken a screenshot of your unprofessional response and I will involve the bar to ensure that this matter is addressed appropriately. I have EVERY right to tell my story so others don’t go through what I went through.
My concerns about the lack of service and communication were raised well before the reconciliation and It’s disheartening to see that others have echoed similar sentiments regarding the firm’s conduct. This isn’t just my experience; it’s a pattern that has been noted by several clients.
I stand by my original statements and hope that the firm takes this feedback seriously to improve their practices. Additionally, while I appreciate the gesture, I found it inappropriate for a paralegal to invite me to her church during this process. I guess you will deny that as well.

If you want a great divorce lawyer, trust me on this one, hire John Smith. He was fantastic in court and in running a past judge/prosecutor under the table. I loved it! Mr. Smith had issues with listening to what I wanted as a client. He literally billed me for a process that I did not agree to (I asked him to look into the issue and would confirm with him whether to proceed). His lack of comprehension as to my dismay further supports my experience that he has issues with listening, comprehension or underlying biases that he himself is unaware of.

Hired Martin on two separate occasions regarding family law matters - divorce and child custody matter. The initial matter went extremely well and both parties found a workable solution. Unfortunately, sometime after resolving initial matter, I had to re-engage Martin regarding an adjustment in custody arrangements. And consistently provided efficient and sage advice on all matters. I strongly recommend.
One must also consider he works diligently and efficiently with his support team. Thus, his fees are reasonable and holistically worth every penny.

Martin without a doubt is the most impressive attorney that I have ever met. I separated from the military several years back, and had a very difficult time adjusting to civilian life. I had issues with DUI, reckless driving and speeding. Martin not only helped me with my legal matters but completely eliminated them. Not to say I wasn't accountable for my actions, but I was represented in such a a way that I felt confident leaving the courtroom with my head held high. I have turned to Martin several times since my initial consult and he has made me feel as if I am his only client. Everyone in his office was more than helpful in my time of trouble. After paying a 10k retainer for my divorce, this attorney did nothing for me. I caught him in several lies and eventually had to fire him. I couldnt help but to think that somehow this was my fault, because, after all, HE is the legal professional, and knows what he is doing. Right? Wrong! I picked up my "file" from his office and took it to my new attorney. She said, "This is it???? Where is everything???" I had no idea how bad it was until I saw my new attorney go to work. She handled my case in a matter of WEEKS, not months or years, and earned every penny of her retainer. She actually got me more than what I thought I would get. After mediation, the opposing counsel even remarked that this attorney did absolutely nothing for me. I think it is only fair to end this review on a positive note. This attorney did refund a small amount of my money after I complained. Maybe he knew deep down that he fell short.

Ms. Miller is well versed in the courtroom and continually reads cases and situations, keeping them at the ready when needed for your case.
Ms. Miller successfully defended me in a very complex family law case that had all elements of a bad and difficult divorce with many accusations being presented to the court. Each accusation was dissected, questioned openly in the courts, and dismissed by the courts. Her successful representation gave me immediate access to my child, and a voice in the legal system that made opposing attorneys and Judges pay attention to.

Patience is a virtue. Covid created excessive delay problems for all concerned. Communication with all lawyers is meh...slow and at times non existent, BUT Olga did everything she promised and agreed to. Be patient stick to the plan, let them work.

This attorney, took $4900 from me to do nothing but cost me my sons paternity time to be thwarted by not giving me notice that I had a child custody hearing. She was unprepared in a TPO order prior and would not assert herself to a lying & vindictive wife. Today I’m having to get another attorney to clean up her mess. She dismissed herself from my case without advising me of my child custody case court date. As a result I haven’t seen my son in almost 8 months. Joy is amazing. She always listened to me to understand what my needs were and she did a superior job executing my request. Although I just met Joy, she managed my case like she was a close family friend who sincerely had my best interest at heart. During the trial she was not thrown off by the other party's spontaneous attempts to sneak in invalid information. She even fought for me all the way to the end when the Judge was giving the decision; she recommended an alternate proposal which would benefit me and the Judge accepted. I am so glad she knew what she was doing. From the first conversation with Joy I felt confident in her ability to handle my case and from the day I hired her I never worried again about my case. I hired Mr Stubbs to handle my divorce. I can not say enough how happy I was with his service. I have read the prior review that states Mr Stubbs is a non responsive attorney. I can not disagree more! Mr Stubbs was NEVER unresponsive to my calls or emails. In fact, he would often respond to my emails after hours from his personal email account. My ex-wife and I hired Grossman to defend our son who caught a ride from some questionable people in you from Pensacola to Atlanta where I live. He was asleep in the backseat of the car when he was rudely woken to being in the middle of a high-speed chase from the police. The driver and his wife were throwing drugs out the window my son was telling them the whole time to pull over and to let him out. Of course they were all arrested and drugs were confiscated picked up alongside the road along with some weapons and other items. None of the evidence that was picked up had my son's fingerprints on it or DNA or any physical connection to him. And yet my son is now sentenced to almost 30 years in a federal prison thanks to the inability of Grossman to object to things like the video of the car chase. Why was that even submitted into evidence when he was in the backseat of sleep. The wife of the driver even said that in a recorded statement. She also said a bunch of other stuff that went along with my son's side of the story and yet no one but Grossman could have gotten him almost 30 years and a federal prison. Now I know Christmas is going to have a response to this and how he did everything he could and what I'm saying is not true. Well if anybody's lying it's him. I'm not calling him a liar but if he contradicts what I'm saying then he's lying. Don't waste your money on Richard Grossman.

I retained Mr Sabbak for two separate misdemeanor charges that were a decade old. I live in Florida now, so I had to rely on online reviews to help make a decision on which attorney to hire for my cases. I decided on Mr Sabbak because he seemed charismatic on the phone. The first case he was able toget resolved, but on the same conditions that were presented to me 11 years ago when I had no attorney. He did get a warrant recalled for me, but then pushed me towards a resolution that I said from the start I did not want and leveraged the fact that I was out of state to get me to agree to the terms (a stark contrast to what he said he could accomplish on the phone). He did however represent himself and me well for the 2 sentences he said while we were in court. The lack of integrity comes in on the second case. He stated that he could not enter into representation on my second case since I had never been arrested and it was just a warrant. Thus, I had to turn myself in and make first appearance so he could represent me. Upon surrendering myself and waiting for my first appearance court, my charges were dropped. Since I had only received representation in one case, and I retained Mr Sabbak for two cases, I asked for a partial refund upon my release since I had paid in full for two cases. Mr Sabbak said that our retainer was a "flat fee" which wasn't indicated in the retainer and non-refundable. I was VERY adamant about my dire financial situation through our communications and had to borrow money to be able to retain counsel. I never received a response from Mr sabbak after expressing dissatisfaction about the lack of refund. Like I said very little integrity, I would never reccomend such an attorney.

My ex took my Son to Illinois on an order written by a Commissioner in Bakersfield. She wanted a $50 consult fee. I paid $25 in cash, and wrote a check for the other $25. After getting paid and putting out her cigarette, she told me, "I can't help you, take it up in Illinois." That was twenty years ago, without a visitation order, I HAVEN'T SEEN HIM SINCE. I PUT A STOP PAYMENT ON THE CHECK. JUSTICE?

Considering hiring this attorney , but her prices are doubled compared to a few other local offices…so do some research beforehand. Her personality was great and I found some helpfulness in the advice I was given. After my consult I spoke with a friend who hired her as her attorney to gain insight on what it’ll be like working with her. she said lots things would always pop up because of personal events happening in Cynthias life. Which caused delay with her case. She also mentioned her office manager just wasn’t the best to work with and always made her feel stupid for asking about her case or having any questions at all. She ended up hiring someone different.. I will mention.. I didn’t like how her office manager spoke with me when I scheduled my consult either. So extremely rude with snide comments. When I called back to see how I could pay, I was greeted with a different office staff who seemed more polite and helpful to my concerns for payment! I spoke with this lady for about 10 minutes. If I remember correctly her name was Marlene! If you call this attorneys office just make sure to speak with her! Extremely helpful!! Thought I’d leave a more recent review since I struggled to find one. Still debating hiring Cynthia. Will leave an updated review when I have decided.

I am disappointed with the experience I had with the Atlanta Legal Aid-Veterans Project. I contacted them seeking assistance with a consumer dispute involving a car warranty issue. I believed, based on their advertised services, that they would provide legal aid to veterans who couldn't afford an attorney.
However, after reaching out, I was informed that they couldn't assist me with my specific issue and suggested I contact the bar association. This seems counterintuitive, as I wouldn't have sought assistance from a legal aid organization if I had the means to hire a private attorney.
It appears that the organization may be receiving government funding without providing substantial legal aid to veterans. Their approach of simply directing clients to other resources, rather than offering direct assistance, is deeply frustrating. I urge the organization to re-evaluate its practices and ensure that it is fulfilling its mission of providing legal aid to veterans in need.
