Meike is the best! She's intelligent, knowledgeable and compassionate. We hired Mieke to represent my brother who found himself charged in a criminal matter. We were beside ourselves, worrying about the outcome. We had retained a prior attorney who we felt did was not representing him properly, and would have landed him in prison.

Jennifer B. Gardner is the perfect combination of a kind considerate “people’s person” and a highly professional straight-shooting “fighter”.
She understands and acknowledges the level of stress a client (and parties involved) is likely to experience when situations get to a point where an attorney is needed, as well as during the process of solving a case. She also understands the power of words and is therefore a master of formulating incredible sentences on the spot; to the point in exactly the right tone that’s most effective for the moment, because she is very good at gauging a situation not only by looking at the facts in play but also taking the ‘human factor’ into consideration. Which, in my case, resulted in a tactful approach; reasonable, firm, and demanding, yet nicely wrapped in amicable non-offensive language.
By the time I decided that I needed a lawyer I couldn’t see the forrest for the trees because my case involved a lot factors of which I couldn’t judge their relevance anymore. I did an online search and as soon as I stumbled upon some articles written by Jennifer I knew she was ‘the one’, because everything I read completely resonated with me. She was available for an online phone consultation the very next day and my instincts were right; we had a very pleasant conversation in which she took the time to hear me out and make sense of it all, upon which she was able to narrow it down to it’s essence and lay out several possibilities on how to proceed. A huge weight fell off my shoulders because I knew I was in good hands.
In order to form the right strategy, some research was required to make sure we had all our facts straight and to cover our bases depending on different potential responses from the other party. She advised me on things I could do myself in order to cut costs. It took a few weeks and frequent communication to formulate the ultimate Demand Letter, which proved to be instantly effective because in the first phone conversation between Jennifer and the other party my demands were met, actually I got even more than I asked for! That conversation must have gone really well because the other party expressed their relief and gratitude for coming to a solution.
I am convinced that the way Jennifer formulated the demand letter led to this gratifying result and that her amicable way of handling things resulted in zero conflict. There was a brief moment when some important final details needed to be negotiated and Jennifer had to play hard-ball with the other lawyer while it came down to a few crucial minutes. While driving and consulting with me, she was able to narrow down a complicated matter into one genius undeniable sentence. I was astonished! It was very impressive to see her ‘fighter’ side in action, haha!

They take on too many cases, promise you the world, and then pressure you to settle. I spent six months in a wheelchair six weeks in a hospital and had to take medicine designed to be taken for a couple of months every day of my life to walk, for an incomplete paralyzation. After everything was said and done I lost $60,000. Catherine, who was my attorney would constantly not return my calls and have her husband call me. When you ask for a copy of your file, they refuse to give it to you. I had written them a good review just to get them to leave me alone as the pressure was relentless. Do yourself a favor and run in the other direction that is if you still can.

Ms. Yamini was knowledgeable and very helpful in getting the request for a restraining order against my husband dismissed. He was accused of things that he didn't do and in fact were made up. She also pointed out to the judge that the case was actually about a dispute regarding the property line. She reassured us when we felt doubtful about our case due to the plaintiff's false accusations against my husband . She felt strongly that the court would see through the false accusations which they did and that's was because of the way Ms. Yamini presented our case and her cross examination of the plaintiff. We're grateful for her taking our case.

Teresa Beyers is a go-to for your divorce and family law needs. I have read some reviews and disagree with the very few bad reviews. She has a ton of knowledge and a great ability to navigate a divorce case. Many reviews are written about charging too much for a divorce, but people don't understand she is more reasonable than most. Divorce is never cheap, Teresa will get you what you want and then some.

I had a DUI case and a resisting arrest charge. Although this was my first offense, the city where I was pulled over and ticketed is known for being very strict. However, Eric was a formidable advocate. He successfully got one of my DUI counts dropped and the resisting arrest charge reduced. His communication and strategy were impeccable. In the interest of Justice, he did everything correctly to prove my innocence. He contacted people, made calls and went to speak to the dective and the district attorney directly. I came to Elliot for a consultation to handle my 10 year old felony case. I hadn't completed the terms of my probation, none of it, and I was ready to turn myself in. As it turned out not only was my felony probation violation open, but also a slew of smaller warrants for traffic violations.
I consulted with a few different attorneys who were all really great but I decided to go with Elliot and I am very glad that I did.
First he met me on a Saturday which was very convenient. He genuinely seemed to care about helping me. He was honest and upfront, didn't make any promises to give me false hope. Which I appreciated as I knew how serious the consequences were going to be.
Leading up to court there were many times that I had questions about our strategy and Elliot was always available to reply via email, and take my calls. It felt like I was his only client.
In front of the judge where it matter the most, Elliot really came through. When my character came into question, he argued fiercely on my behalf. That's when I was 100% sure that I had made the right choice.
In the end I received my best possible outcome, and I have Elliot to thank for that. Out of 4 cases (1 Felony and 3 Misdemeanors) that he handled for me I received positive outcomes in each. With the increasing complexity of often contradictory laws, it takes brilliance and very significant ingenuity to keep our legal system both fair and sensible. Hooman Kazemi is both brilliant and extremely skilled. In my case, he was able to change the charge against me from one that was unfair, to one that was factually correct and fair. He also negotiated a very fair and considerate resolution with the Prosecutor. Without his skill and thorough knowledge, I am certain that I would have been illogically and unfairly punished for a very simple and unintentional oversight. His identification and re-classification of the charge, in my opinion, showed an uncommon degree of knowledge and expertise. Both of us speak perfect native English and we still had a lot of trouble figuring out the paperwork.
