I was accused by police for abusing my son. I admit that I am a tough father but I am not the "abuser" described by the police. When I was released from jail I started seeking an attorney on AVVO. Mr. Nakano's experience drew my attention. However, my stereotype about lawyers reserved me from making immediate decision to hire him. After looking through his website, I told myself "why not give him a chance, and give yourself a chance". Because of our similar ethnic background, he could look at the situation from my perspective. Not only that, Mr. Nakano suggest me started to makeup for my mistake before the court date. He recommended Parents' Group, a group therapy that help distressed parents. In addition, he recommended me seeing professional counselor, who had taught me a lot because he had already went through the path that I am going through. Because of Mr. Nakano's help, I was dismissed of the charges by the police and was exonerated from CACI listing. Most importantly, my relationship with my son has improved. We enjoyed our Thanksgiving vacation in Disney; played retro video games and light saber duel together during Christmas Holidays. Aside from all the fun, he is still willing to follow my guidance to learn math and English daily. Thank you Mr. Nakano.

I came to Mr Steven Nakano awhile back concerned about a possible criminal case against me regarding an alledged a hit and run on the freeway resulting in property damage. After the police contacted me and conducted their investigation it was confirmed I was not involved in any hit and run. Turns out the party who claimed I was involved was pulling an insurance scam. When I was seeking out a criminal Attorney and presenting my charges 4 felonies, 3 Attorney's said I will have to do jail time until I met Cory Fuller he assured me he could get charges dropped or reduced and he did just that. No jail time 3 felonies dropped 1 reduced to a misdemeanor 1 year informal probation. I was so relieved. Hire this Attorney don't worry about money worry about your freedom and record. He knew everyone the Judge, the DA and all the other Attorney's they all called him by his first name. This was my first experience with a lawyer. I was embarking on an extremely stressful high conflict custody dispute. As a father, I falsely believed I was at a disadvantage simply due to my gender and felt the court would side with the mother no matter the situation. In this instance I was confronted with a motion for my child to move out of state with the mother.
Alexis Revelo went above and beyond representing me. Her and her team such as Shaina Garcia are highly motivated, easy to talk to and are amazing at interpreting the sheer amount of noise that a custody dispute produces. She was honest, practical with custody expectations and always kept me true to the matter at hand when my personal emotions got in the way.
Thanks to her, I am more informed of my rights as a coparent and now have protected rights as a father to maintain the bond with my son in the state of California.
Hands down this has been the most stressful parental experience. I do not wish it upon any fellow soul. However, if you find yourself in the trenches fighting for your child, Alexis Julia Revelo is that of legend.

Karen Hubbell provided my husband and I with excellent legal support in finalizing some lingering issues from his previous marriage. I wish he had gone to Karen from the beginning, instead of using a mediator. So many people wanting an amicable divorce shy away from hiring a lawyer, fearing that it will lead to a court battle or cost a ton of money. However, when you have financial entanglements and children involved, it is imperative to seek help from a lawyer who knows the ins and outs of the legal system and can get it done right - the first time around. My friend referred me to Arthur as I was struggling in my case. After my first phone call with Arthur, I decided to choose him as my second attorney immediately. I hired Arthur for an uncontested divorce. His fees were much lower than another attorney I interviewed. He is friendly and easy to talk to and at times would remind me that he would have to charge me for certain tasks that I could do myself and for other time spent not covered under the original quote. He is very responsive and checked up on me when things were stalled (with my spouse). I communicated with him via phone and mostly email which was very convenient. His advice was practical and realistic, not trying to get more money from my spouse for little things which would've costed me more in fees. I would definitely recommend him for an uncontested divorce.

This is a complicated review to write as Mr Morris was actually the DA who was prosecuting my case. But I must give credit where credit is due. I admire a person who shows conviction and tenacity. Mr. Morris unfortunately was going thru troubling times in his personal life, But didn't allow that to affect his performance in the courtroom. My personal belief is that Mr Morris knew the charges against me were shady and bogus. Yet he stuck to his job and represented the state with conviction. It was an honor to meet in the arena of the courtroom. and to watch him keep his case together despite the crumbling of his evidence and witness's. Mr. Shebby began handling my case about seven years ago. In that time he has provided invaluable advice and guidance from a disputed divorce settlement transitioning to custody issues.
In the beginning, Mr. Shebby was very honest with me about his experience and had been very fair with his billing. Being pregnant and unable to work (a biological hazardous lab technician) to a sleep deprived could not find employment single mother, I struggled to pay all of my legal bills; Mr. Shebby did not stop representing me nor sending it for collection. Instead, he set up an installment plan with me. His legal secretary is very punctual. She took care of the paperwork and kept up with all the submission deadlines to court. There was not an instance where we missed a court appearance or response to a filing.
It was an incredibly stressful and trying time for me, Mr. Shebby was and continues to be exceedingly supportive and successful. Mr. Shebby won an argue for an ex parte move away order in my case, getting permission from the court to move out of state with a minor child in a custody dispute is very, very rare. I am greatly indebt to Mr. Shebby. He had allowing me to have a new start in life with my child again.

Do not use this law incompetent group. They had a fine raised from 234$ to 360$ when representing me, simply could not ask for body camera footage when they were asked to, muchless cannot pick up their phone 90% of the time after a case is “dealt with”. I’ve gone through 8 different lawyers in my life even 3 star lawyers who presented and executed 10 times better and this law firm. I’m warning anyone who’s going through a simple traffic violation to not go through them. You will thank me in the long run

Do not use this law incompetent group. They had a fine raised from 234$ to 360$ when representing me, simply could not ask for body camera footage when they were asked to, muchless cannot pick up their phone 90% of the time after a case is “dealt with”. I’ve gone through 8 different lawyers in my life even 3 star lawyers who presented and executed 10 times better and this law firm.
