I had no idea how to choose a divorce attorney so I just googled Seattle divorce lawyers and emailed four or five. I ended up choosing ZafiroLaw mostly due to thier first response. I zoom chatted with Katrina who answered questions regarding process. My attorneys name was Ambere and I was very happy with her professionalism and all hours email responses. She seems to work 24/7.She was very pleasant to interact with and made sure all questions were answered to satisfaction. My divorce was fairly uncontentious thankfully, but she really went to bat for my version of the parenting plan, whereas my wifes was impoverished. Hint: our parenting plan won. I am happy with the results of the divorce and glad it's over with.

I can’t tell you how many lawyers I have contacted and how many consultations I paid. I went from big firms to lawyers here on Avvo with a lot of reviews, contacted some that were recommended. and in the end I landed on Kirstyn Palmisano.
Let me tell you, she was very responsive, attentive and answered all of my questions in such a caring and observant manner that I knew I wanted her and her team to represent me.
I have a high conflict divorce, but Kirstyn and her team walked me through all of the steps and helped me feel safe and taken care of. I feel very confident and reassured having Kirstyn and her team representing me, guiding me through the legal process and stayed focus on protecting the best interest for me and my child. Kirstyn is not afraid to stand by her clients and fight for you and for what is right. She is very sharp, and knows her stuff very well.

CliffsNotes Review: Hire this firm if you can!
Where does one even begin when trying to give thanks to a team that has helped during such an emotional, stressful, and difficult time? The lawyers and staff at The Law Offices of Lance Fryrear have been such a blessing. After the police were called and an arrest was made, it felt like my life was over. I felt so powerless during those initial days where the court process and legal battles seemed beyond hope. I am not sure how I would have made (and continue to be making it) through this legal process without Lance and his team. Everytime I called with a worry or concern, Rachel and Shannon would answer the phone, listen attentively and provide encouragement. They never made me feel like a burden or annoyance (even when I felt I was because of all the anxiety). Lance and Colleen worked to support me through a Civil PO that was filed in addition to my pre-charge criminal defense needs. Colleen went above and beyond, helping me reach out for my personal items, providing comfort and support, and always making me feel like a priority. Lance not only brought so much legal knowledge and experience (check out his Youtube), but his ability to understand the process and speak to the emotional side really was a game changer. Before agreeing to help with the Civil PO, he listened attentively to the situation. Lance and his team agreed to help me with the criminal defense matter, but only wanted to commit to helping with the Civil PO, if there was something they could actually do in my situation to help. His firm is not interested in saying “yes” to everything to get a paycheck. They actually care about YOU and YOUR SPECIFIC case. He felt based on my circumstances, that although filing a written response might not be wise in my case, there could be other avenues to explore, and thus agreed to help with that legal matter. If you work with Lance and his team, it is worth every penny. Make sure to listen to his advice! You, like me, will likely have to fight the urge to want things resolved yesterday. Fight the urge to want to act out of frustration from not having your side heard by the justice system. Fight the urge to think that your ideas and timing are right and that slow justice is not justice. Time is your friend in many of these cases. I worked to trust Lance and his team with this, groaning in my mind about the long lengths between court dates, but in the end he and his team were right. Time can change people and circumstances. The Civil PO was dismissed!
For my pre-charge criminal defense, my lawyer Elisabeth also worked tirelessly to support me by answering questions, reviewing documents, and helping me with ancillary issues related to my case. She always made time for me and I felt heard and cared for by her. This is a quality not all law firms have, but it ended up being so important to me, so do not overlook it if it is important to you.
It is so valuable to work with lawyers and staff who are empathetic and patient since a lot of the struggle is trusting that your team really cares about you and your case. If you want a law team that will not only work to get you successful legal outcomes to your case, but also will help you make sense of things and respond to your emotions with care, I can not recommend the lawyers and staff at The LawOffice of Lance Fryrear enough.
I have had such amazing results, and have felt as supported as possible throughout this process, which would not have been possible without my legal team. Thank you Lance, Elisabeth, Colleen, Rachel, Shannon, and the other amazing lawyers and staff who work to give people accused of crimes a second chance at life. I hired David Braswell as my attorney while going through my separation, which turned into a divorce, and needed a parenting plan, child support, etc. He took the time to respond to any questions I had or expressed concerns about and help me understand the legal process. He accurately forecasted how my situation would result and that helped me mentally and emotionally. He updated me regularly with any changes. Overall I found David to be very easy to communicate with, professional, knowledgeable, and sympathetic.

Working with Heritage Law has been so comforting. I did a consultation and then I was assigned to Amanda Holder and Alicia Olney for my custody case. Going through a custody battle is hard as it is, it’s stressful and emotional. Working with Alicia on the day to day and being represented by Amanda took almost all of the stress away. Alicia is quick to respond and never made me feel like I was asking too many questions or bothering her when I didn’t quite understand something. I feel really lucky that Smith Law Group represented me. I have heard so may horror stories related to friends of mine going through a divorce and not having a good attorney. This was not the case with me. I most certainly was well represented and supported. Everyone told me I would not get custody of my kids because I’m a father living in Washington State. Well, that is not true! I hired Jen and her office to deal with some difficult custody issues in my divorce. Jen was very clear as to what I could expect. She was also very clear in how I needed to move the case forward. Expensive and they were more concerned in banking then helping. They kept on arguing with opposing council after I asked them to stop. They were concerned with making money and were completely oblivious to the techniques the opposing council was using to cause me harm. I could say a lot more but in brief do not recommend.

Absolutely HORRIBLE representation!!!! More worried about billing every 3 days to the tune of thousands of dollars than representing their clients and helping them get a satisfactory result. Spent tens of thousands of dollars to actually be in a worse position. I was promised the world and delivered nothing!!! Do yourself a favor!!! RUN!! Find other representation, they are atrocious!! Dont' use this office and definetaly don't use Garrett Filetti. Zero communication. Zero concern with what the client wants. Grossly inept altogether! My case: DUI. With complications. High BAC. Collision involved. Open and shut case against me.
There were several law firms I could have hired. Nothing bad at all to say aboutthe other firms I spoke with. Melissa stood out head and shoulders above the other firms I spoke with based on her overall experience, but especially her prosecutorial experience. Her knowledge and skill, plus her ability to communicate, stood out when we spoke.
Outstanding service and professionalism! As events unfolded, Melissa ALWAYS kept me promptly informed of what to expect, next steps, and timing for me to complete actions. She is always super-prepared, and if you follow her advice things will go super smoothly.
Melissa also is fantastic to work with! Totally accommodating of my work schedule and when it was best for me to take calls. She explained everything and put me at ease right up front. In my situation, I have vocational factors with regulatory impacts outside of my DUI case. Melissa was extra-patient with me discussing these outside considerations while we worked my case. Fortunately she also has a great sense of humor!
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, Melissa delivers RESULTS. She took care of everything so I didn't have to worry. She negotiated positively and constructively with the prosecutor to reduce my charge to reckless driving with the absolute minimum sentence.
This was not an easy case. It would've been a slam/dunk against me but Melissa achieved an infinitely better outcome than I could've imagined. THANK YOU MELISSA!

Greg was exceptional in handling my case. As it was my first ticket, I was uncertain about the process and unsure of my options. Greg took the time to clearly explain what needed to be done, what he could do on my behalf, and the different possible outcomes. I had no idea how to choose a divorce attorney so I just googled Seattle divorce lawyers and emailed four or five. I ended up choosing ZafiroLaw mostly due to thier first response. I zoom chatted with Katrina who answered questions regarding process. My attorneys name was Ambere and I was very happy with her professionalism and all hours email responses. She seems to work 24/7.She was very pleasant to interact with and made sure all questions were answered to satisfaction. My divorce was fairly uncontentious thankfully, but she really went to bat for my version of the parenting plan, whereas my wifes was impoverished. Hint: our parenting plan won. I am happy with the results of the divorce and glad it's over with.

September 12th, 2022 police arrived at my door to tell me they were investigating sexual claims made against me, outlandish as they were I immediately panicked because as everyone knows, once these rise against you, you’re pretty much screwed. I immediately reached out to any attorney and was recommended Vindicate law, I spoke to the receptionist and explained the case and was assigned Carrie Fulton Brown. She accepted my case. The path to freedom was long and arduous. After the arraignment they told me I was facing 60 years in prison. Many continuations later, my anxiety and stress were at an all time high. Me and Carrie never really talked to each other about the case itself except a few times as my case was entirely hearsay, but because of the fact that it was from a minor the case was stacked against me 10 fold. Communication with Carrie was very rough, as most people sitting in the hot seat just want a shred or a glimmer of positivity but Carrie did NOT deliver on that front in the slightest. But that was okay, because she was dedicated to working against the state in a screwed up system. Most of the beginning of my case I knew most people and even Carrie didn’t believe me when I say I didn’t do it. Later on I passed 3 polygraph tests trying to prove I didn’t do it, and only after the 3rd one when I passed it with the actual prosecutor / State did Carrie tell me she strongly believes I didn’t do it. She gave me the best options to follow forward and going to trial with a minors words against mine was bleak, Carrie fought for the best outcome, I served 0 days in jail, no fees or Fines, Didn’t have to sign a sexual registry, all 4 counts were dropped to a Class C Abuse of a child. And 1 year of DOC Probation in which I spent 3 weeks on before the DOC discharged me from probation saying my crime didn’t fit criteria of having probation as I was a zero risk person and this was the only thing I’ve ever gotten on my record.
All said and done, I’m glad Carrie pulled through for me and allowed me to stay out of prison and remain with my family and to continue working she’s a tough person to understand and rough around the edges when talking to her but she’s nothing but business which is what you want in an attorney. Thanks Carrie for giving me my life back! 60 years was a long time to be away.

I am absolutely appalled by the complete lack of professionalism and utter disregard for my situation shown by Carrie Fulton Brown from this Law Group. I entrusted her with my case, believing her promises of dedicated representation, and instead, I received nothing but empty words and an empty bank account. She happily accepted my retainer, and then proceeded to do absolutely nothing. During the 6 months period she was my attorney, before her withdrawal, phone calls went unanswered, meetings/appointments were canceled for no apparent reasons. No investigations were done on my case, she did not interview no witnesses, and the so called ”victim“. Furthermore, Carrie had the audacity to tell me I was borderline harassing her by calling her and her incompetent paralegal Lisa too much. She literally took my money and vanished into thin air. Carrie Fulton Brown is a trash of attorney. I suffered significantly due to her inaction, and I was left feeling completely abandoned and betrayed. I would strongly advise anyone considering hiring her to look elsewhere. Save your money, save your time, and save yourself the immense frustration and disappointment. She is a disgrace to the legal profession.

Mark is my first lawyer who accept my divorce case and I was involved in a terrible divorce while my ex husband uses every way including the legal system as a way to abuse me and I personally am very depressed.
Mark took over and really helped me greatly. I was very confused about which route my life is going and he was patient along the way and fighted my rights with my abusing ex-husband.
Due to my own uncertainty of my life and unwillingness to continue the path, Mark and I part way and then I find another lawyer who is not very professional and eventually lost my case.

I came to Mark after wasting time with another attorney for the beginning of my case. Mark made me feel secure that he would fight for the things that were important to me. He never dismissed my feelings or made me feel like I was asking too much. He was balanced and gave solid advice from his obvious many years of expertise.
