I was struggling with an Employment situation which involved forged documents and communication from people purporting to be from a well-known company based in California. Joe was extremely diligent and patient about hearing all the facts and then meeting with me in person to review the documents before recommending any action against the employer. He was able to use his connections to get me in touch with the employer's legal team to sort out the issue. I didn't even have to hire him as I am now working directly with the legal team of the employer to investigate and resolve the issue. He is very knowledgeable of the means to get desired outcomes. Katrina was recommended to me by a very good friend of mine and after our initial consultation I knew she was going to be a great fit for me. Katrina was timely in responding back to my requests, took initiative in the areas that I was less familiar, and made it clear that she was on my side supporting me. Katrina assisted me during the COVID-19 pandemic. I didn't feel her services were affected by the pandemic at all. As I was leaving an organization where I had worked as a 1099 contractor for ten years, the owner of the company denied that he owed me compensation that was clearly spelled out in my contract that Mark had written five years previously.
Steve handled this situation with professionalism and thoughtfulness. He laid our my options for the situation and negotiated with the owner's lawyer. He was effective and efficient, and he ended up recovering not only the compensation that was owed to me but also enough to cover my lawyer's fees.
I very much appreciated how Steve handled my case even though it was a very small job that lasted less than three months.
Hopefully, I won't find myself in a similar situation, but if I do, I will be hiring Steve and Bracepoint Law to help me out.

You should consider David. A friend just now asked me about my divorce lawyer and whether I liked him. It’s indeed been years since I really thought about this exact relationship (divorce in 2017) so I was reminded to review him. I met David at a wedding of some friends in which he was serving as the groom’s best man. I thought it was great that I met him organically. I think I met with a few others but a reference from a friend is worth pure gold to me. I agree with everything all have said below. He always spent good time with me, he has a sense of humor and even though at the time, I could barely crack a smile, it frankly diffused a hell of a lot of tension. He had a clever strategy and though we never discussed it, I think I picked up on his waiting game with my ex-sociopathic con man louse of a husband. I am a get- it - done - NOW- -person as soon as I make up my mind. That’s not gonna serve you best with a sociopathic poor man who has no source of income of his own. David took the long view and looking back now I know it served me well. By the time we waited him out he was willing to take far less than originally “requested”. I was my usual impatient. But in the end, not only did he honor my request to finalize the divorce on a certain specific date (it was meaningful to me and sent a secret sayonara message to my EX), he saved me a lot of money with his tactics.

I have known David Huber almost 20 years, professionally and personally. He was the clear choice to represent my interests when I divorced in 2010. My then wife and I had been married over 30 years and had lived together for eight years prior to that. We had two adult children and a somewhat complicated estate of community and separate properties.
I wanted a fair, equitable and friendly outcome. Unfortunately, my former wife engaged an attorney to represent her interests that was not interested in a fair, equitable or friendly outcome.
David’s even and principled representation was able to neutralize the vitriol of opposing counsel while remaining a strong and persuasive advocate on behalf of that ‘fair and equitable’ outcome. David and I both understood that the problem was not primarily my wife … and after 18 months of discovery (of questionable good faith), David was able to persuade opposing counsel that no assets were being hidden. From that point we were able to proceed to a formal mediation process which resolved in one day.
On both a professional and personal level, David was a superb lawyer and counselor. He was always prepared. He communicated well the different perspectives of each issue before making his recommendation … and then accepted whatever decision I ultimately made. He shielded me effectively against difficult opposing counsel. He advocated for and so allowed a fair and equitable outcome to occur. Friendly even.

Mike provided clear guidance and even-handed explanations as I navigated my first trademark filing. He listened well and took the time to understood the purpose of the service being trademarked, which I feel was reflected in the coverages we were ultimately received when the trademark was awarded.
During the process, an inspector at the USPTO raised a minor issue. Mike understood the "why" of the concern, and handled it quickly.
I would absolutely recommend Mike to others, and have continued to use him myself for other IP and contract-related needs.

I'm so glad I found Lara. She's been helping me with entertainment contracts, and her knowledge of the production side of the business has really helped me negotiate for stronger contracts that better protect future interests I didn't even know I would have.
She's also incredibly expedient with her time and expertise—she can look at a contract and see exactly what's up, redline changes, and turn it around in lightning time. My father retained Mrs. Johnston for a juvenile criminal matter. Mrs. Johnston was skillful and persuaded judge to try me (a first time offender) and co-defendant (who had a considerable amount of criminal history) separately. A class "A" charge, carrying a 2-5 year sentence was dismissed and I entered a plea on a remaining charge that was a class "C" offense.

I frequently come to Alexander when I need someone to review contracts. Yesterday was no different - I emailed him at 9am to ask if he had time to review a new contract. He got back to me within a half an hour, and by lunchtime I had his edits in my inbox.
He's great at understanding the level of detail you're looking for. I didn't need an entire rewrite of this one, I just needed to clarify my understanding of a few clauses, and take the teeth out of a few more. He identified ways we could overhaul and improve the entire contract, but in the mean time provided exactly the sort of work product I was looking for, at the speed I needed.
