The advice that I received from Attorney Long H. Duong during our communication was not what I wanted to hear, but it was what I needed to hear. It became apparent to me that, he was protecting my best interest in the matter concerning adding my 4 siblings names to a couple of warranty deeds (which he advised against). In dealing with my mother’s estate (or lack thereof) I only needed a 15-minute consultation with Mr. Duong. His is true to his statement about finding out if probate is necessary or if alternative solutions are available. I was drawn to his matter-of-fact information on the website that didn’t have the slant of “you must do this fast, and you must have a lawyer.” The ability to speak directly with the attorney and not have to filter through a sales pitch or commitment was a pleasant surprise, and at no point did I feel “small” in making my inquiry. It was more like a neighbor giving the best advice they can to get you in the right direction. At the end of the call, I had a better understanding of the Florida estate system and a good idea of how my family needed to move forward. If my circumstances needed more elaborate care, I would reach out to Mr. Duong again. I greatly appreciate his time and how kindly he addressed my questions.

Upon retirement my wife and I realized that we needed to update our will. We met with William O'Leary and he carefully listened to our requirements. He then educated us on the probate process, and recommended that we consider a living trust along with the will. It became clear to us that his advice was justified. The will and living trust were done quickly and accurately. I would also add that Mr. O'Leary handled this sensitive process with warranted compassion.

I wanted to have some changes made to my will and I texted my attorney in Indiana. I advise them that I had moved to Florida, and he advised me to talk to an attorney here immediately because Florida law is significantly different regarding wills and trusts. So I checked around and found Nielsen law. Just warning you if you want this attorney to do work for you, you better call and make an appointment as soon as you can. She is excellent and created a revocable trust for me. I believe that her pricing is reasonable and I can assure you that she is exceptionally thorough. Her administrative assistant, Gail, is exceptionally organized, cordial and most of all helpful. If you select Nielsen law you will be exceptionally happy with the result regardless of what your needs are.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience working with Diane.
I called Diane about help interpreting a will and she took the time to not only explain the different parts of the legal document and how this effected how the will was governed but offered suggestions and options for dealing with my unique situation and the challenge I was trying to work through.
In addition, Diane was ready to offer introductions to others locally that could be helpful in resolving the issues I was trying to address.
The law is so complicated and Diane was able to take the time to clearly answer my questions in a language that was easy for me to understand. She was also compassionate regarding my situation as I imagine most of these situations are very sensitive in nature.

The results of my probate far exceeded my expectations, primarily due to the efforts of Justin Stivers. Having given Justin perhaps one of the most complex probate cases in history, he handled the details and nuances with grace and aplomb. Prior to Justin, I had hired previous probate attorneys that made limited progress, so my level of confidence in a positive outcome was very low and I had reservations when I first began working with him. To my surprise, Justin demonstrated a deep interest in the probate. Oftentimes, I felt as though my success was a personal matter to him.

Where do I begin? Compassion, Grit, Tenacity, Work- ethic, professional, are only a few of the words I would begin to describe Attorney Jacoby and his team, more specifically in my case Ms. Marcano. We have to start off by saying the court system is not fair when it comes to dead beat parents. Child services took my children from their mother for various warranted reasons (drugs, abuse, neglect), things that we didnt even know they were going through because they we to scared to tell anyone. We were appointed a court appointed attorney which was horrible and after my first experience with my last lawyer we were very skeptical about hiring a new lawyer. Mara came recommended to us through a friend and I have to say it was the best choice we've made in this regard over the last 11 years. During this whole process of the court and child services giving their mother chance after chance to reunify, making us feel like we did something wrong, and forcing the kids to talk and see their mother when they didnt want to Mara stayed positive. She was there anytime we had a question, needed a meeting, or advice during this 2 year process. We are grateful to say that finally we have full custody, the kids have completed their therapy, and they are happy and doing well in school.

I’m Lou and my father passed away and left me his estate that had a 50 percent share of the property he owned with his girlfriend for 30 years.

My experience with Frye, Fortich & Garcia has been a very positive experience.
My husband and I did our trusts, but unfortunately, he passed away before we were able to implement changes. Ms. Garcia outlined everything that needed to be done for the estate. She guided me in the necessary paperwork and completed all the necessary court papers. In the process, Ms. Garcia also caught a big mistake the courts made by appointing the wrong executor. This was promptly corrected. I was advised of all the steps taken throughout these proceedings and told of all papers needed. If I did not have them, I was always provided with help. My questions were promptly and kindly answered.

If you truly want to save your home from foreclosure, you need Margery Golant on your side. Her wealth of knowledge about the mortgage industry is incredible and she will fight for you with every bit of that knowledge. Many, many nights laying there next to my wife, shaking instead of sleeping.
The feeling of abject failure and the loss of so many years of work and dreams.
My initial mind set when I got behind on my mortgage was “I didn’t pay and I deserve to get foreclosed”. It certainly is a pretty straight line to that opinion. And you can rest assured that the so called judges in the Foreclosure Court, who are appointed, not elected, by and large believe this is true too. The long process of defending ourselves from the loss of our family home, which was the repository of every bit of our income (beyond consumables) for most of our lives, was an eye opening experience and some hard lessons about the law and in particular lawyers.
Lots of lawyers will line up to take your money, and as much of it up front as they can get you to pay. I have more than several acquaintances who paid eight thousand, ten thousand dollar retainers. This was quickly burned up on ticky tack back and forth with the bank/servicer and then they lost their homes. One leader in my scout troop found out she was going to auction 7 days before it happened and her family of 5 had to move in with her mother in law.
I’m here to tell you what you need is a Knight. On a Crusade. And that is who Margery Golant is to her clients. When she says: “I am personally disturbed to see consumers being taken advantage of…” she really means it and I have seen it many times in our long and SUCCESSFUL battle to not be foreclosed. Ms Golant had 3 judges disqualified from our case for public comments they had made that clearly showed the bias so prevalent in Foreclosure Court. She had our case removed from the Foreclosure division and put in Civil, where the judges answer to the voters, and care that the decisions they make are legally valid. She had the Service of the foreclosure thrown out 6 times. She fought a brilliant war of counter tactics and strategy that went on for well over 9 years. It seems crazy looking at it written here. Meanwhile my kids grew up in their home and thrived. Words can’t express our gratitude and if you are in this terrible situation, believe a survivor that this is your best choice for representation.
