Got us through what was became a very challenging closing including 4 rewrites of the P&S, late legal related requests from the mortgage provider, and 5 (yes 5) reissues of the "final" hud statement by the banks attorney on the day before the close. I especially can't say enough about Mark's assistant Sarah, who was there to help us out by phone and email whenever a question/problem came up, even on the weekends.

I have asked Shannon for help multiple times with legal paperwork, even if it was just to explain to me what it said. After interviewing a million lawyers I hired Ms Wolinetz to handle my situation. The situation is a complex civil matter with a lot of moving parts. A lot attorneys I spoke with were qualified but were looking for a case with a larger return. Still others could not handle the detail. We're not done yet but I would consider an interview and consult with Ms Wolinetz appropiate for anyone needing assistance in her areas of law.

I worked with Mr. McGovern when my wife and I were about to purchase a home. Our condominium association has old and outdated bylaws with legal language that is difficult to read, and we felt that they could cause us problems were we to try to conduct a renovation project. Mr. McGovern was able to translate these documents in a way that gave us a better understanding of our rights as homeowners, and allowed us to proceed with confidence in our desired improvements. We very much felt that he was on our side throughout the entire process, and his easygoing manner set my wife and I at ease. After living a largely lawyer-free life, my wife and I found ourselves looking for legal services as we tried to manage estate details that my wife faced as the executor of her mother’s will. Living in Holliston, we gave Jennifer a call and explained our situation. Ken, who works with Jennifer, guided us through probate court procedures and helped my wife settle the estate with her siblings. This experience got us thinking of our own estate planning (we had none at the time), so we asked Jennifer to help us put our wills together and establish a trust for our assets. Despite the coincidental onset of the pandemic, we were able to conduct meetings over Zoom with Jennifer, who patiently explained to us and helped us address health care proxies, powers of attorney, powers of attorney for tax matters, life trusts, income trusts, last wills, and memorial arrangements—topics about which we had only limited knowledge. Throughout the process, Jennifer provided clear guidance so that our own estate plan now suits our needs. As a result of our experience, we have gladly retained Jennifer as our lawyer, and when we recently met to follow up on some details of our trust, making sure that everything is in place, Jennifer found a few little things to address and is helping us explore a tax rebate for our newly installed septic system. Knowing we have such an advocate certainly gives us peace of mind.

I worked with Jennifer over the past 8 months, pulling together everything needed to create an estate plan, as well as Power of Attorney, Health Care, and Will. I love how she broke it up into "bite size pieces", and each month would give me something to think about, a list of papers to bring in, etc. What could have been daunting was made to be palatable. Curley Law Firm has been in my family's corner for quite some time now. Attorney Lucy Budman set up my parent's Will and Trust years ago and when it came time to unfortunately put my dad into a nursing home Lucy and her team were there to essentially do all the hard work. At first, I thought I could do it, but No Way! Att. Budman, Lynne and Debbie handled everything with the nursing home, MA Health, insurance co, etc. Not only did my mom and my siblings have far less stress, we were able to retain much more in assets because of the Curley Law Firm.

I originally met Lucy Budman when my mother set up her Irrevocable Trust almost 5 years ago. I had agreed to act as the Trustee for my mom's Irrevocable Trust, and Lucy was extremely helpful to both of us while we did all the legal paperwork . Later on, Mom met with her for changes to her will, and various financial issues that came up. Lucy Budman is very personable , knowledgeable , patient, and explains all the details thoroughly , always answering whatever questions come to mind. After my mother passed away last year, Lucy was always there for us, answering all our questions, our annoying phone calls, and addressing all our needs. We've almost finished all of our distributions , taxes, and house deed changes, now we're moving on to our Will. As she has been for the last 5 years, Lucy Budman is still there for us. Could not ask for a more competent attorney ! Highly recommend !

When I was desperate with out hope looking for financial guidance and support on bankruptcy, I found David by sheer luck! From the moment he took my case knowing I didn't have the amount in full to start process he started working on getting job done. He took me out of my economical worries and never made me feel bad about getting in so deep into debt at a young age. The process felt short due to David explaining it so thoroughly. I was referred to Jason through another attorney and let me tell you, I could not be more pleased. He did an amazing job helping me get guardianship for my 55yr old brother. I had been trying for a few yrs to get this task accomplished.
Jason is very professional and compassionate, he truly understands how family's feel going through this rather tedious ordeal. Jason knows exactly what the courts need for all date sensitive documentation. He was always willing to help with calling the Dr. or going to pick up documents for me if need be.

I don’t know what we would have done without Jason. My husband and I hired Jason to help us obtain guardianship for our disabled daughter who turned 18 years old this past December. From our initial meeting to help us understand what the guardianship process entailed, to our last meeting in court, Jason was an amazing resource and always so patient and understanding…no matter how many questions I had. My husband and I thought the final court appearance would be a simple formality, but unfortunately, we had a rather cold judge who made it a very unpleasant experience. I am the representative payee for my adult disabled son. After five years of my son being disabled and collecting disability, his Doctor and I received a form to fill out for a medical review to see if he was "still disabled." I filled this out perfectly describing my son's day to day life and impairments. Although I am a medical professional, obviously I did not do this as well as I perceived as just before Christmas 2014, we received a notice stating my son was no longer disabled and his disability payments would stop in two months. Social Security was not at all helpful and gave me the run around re: the appeal process. Sometimes Social Security employees were not nice or helpful. I knew we needed help. I researched disability attorneys and found Jason. All I can say is "Thank God." He met with both of us and asked questions about my son's disability and symptoms. My son and I provided all the answers to the review to him however Jason worded it in the manner that SSDI requires, unlike what I had done in the previous summer. He was kind, patient, and understanding. There were a few times when my emotions got the better of me, "How can they do this to us?" These were the times when Jason stood behind us and helped us stand on our own two feet. He directed us in following the instructions on the appeal as they are not easy to understand, Jason understood exactly what they were and explained them in a manner that was both understandable and helpful, never degrading. On May 6th of this year, I received the notice from disability stating that after reviewing all the information, they found my son to continue to be disabled, therefore there was no need for a hearing. Of course I would prefer my son to not be disabled. However it is what it is and I do not even want to think of how awful this denial could have been without Jason. I wish I had known him and used him to initially get disability for my son back in 2009 as that process was not pleasant and took three denials/appeals. I definitely could not have done this without his help! My husband and I are now going to be using Jason for estate planning and our wills.

I have worked with Annette and Mark for a few years. What has impressed me has been their continued support. Annette and Mark had previously helped me deal with a complex inherited trust with special needs implications. They did an exceptional job navigating me through the process. Then Annette recommended a specialist to help with Social Security Disability who was excellent. Recently I had more questions about new trust issues and social services. Again, Annette answered all my questions, explained the path forward and recommended a local lawyer to help me. Special Needs Law Group could have handled the business, but Annette told me that the work involved could be handled as well by the other lawyer for a lot less money. Can’t say enough great things about Briana! I originally chose Briana due to her experience with tenant/landlord disputes in Massachusetts. Recently moving to the state, I was confused about several laws and had a landlord who seemed to be using her own interpretation of the law to neglect her responsibilities.
I had spoken to a lawyer previously, and gotten nowhere, so I wasn’t expecting much this time around. Briana completely blew me away with her knowledge, compassion, and follow through. She helped guide me through which laws protected me and what steps I could take to accelerate the complaint. She also took time to read through all of my communications with my landlord. Not only that, but she actually found portions of my lease that the prior lawyer had overlooked.
My ordeal started with feeling overwhelmed and stressed out, and ended with empowerment and understanding. Once things were resolved, I didn’t expect any further communications, but Briana went out of her way to check in one final time. Absolutely wonderful customer service and I would recommend her to anyone who is having similar issues.
Highly recommend and plan on using her services again if needed in the future.

When my parents needed to update their trusts, I knew that I needed to find them an attorney with expertise in estate planning and elder care law. My parents and I had a lot of questions and we all found Marc to be an excellent listener who really cared about setting up a plan that would best meet their needs. He was able to take complex legal terms and make them easy to understand and I appreciated the fact that he never made us feel rushed when our meeting went over by at least a half an hour.
