John was very informative and eased a lot of my concerns during the process. He kept me informed the entire time, and I was prepared for each step.
I was confident when I went to court with him, and everything worked out as he had discussed - there were no surprises along the way, and that is what you are looking for when you hire an attorney.
John's staff was also very professional, and I enjoyed coming to the office for my meetings. I have been to other lawyers' offices before where I did not feel comfortable. John's office was a family atmosphere, and it was exactly what I was looking for when hiring a lawyer.

The most amazing lawyer ever. I was completely satisfied and more than happy how he took time and cared deeply about my future and well being. I hired Mr Urbani as my divorce attorney and we spent almost two years together going through a horrible part of my life. We hung in there and he put up with me and a few tears along the way. I have known and used Anthony for over 21 years. I have recommended many clients to him - and never has there been a complaint. He wins. He cares about his clients, but tells you like it is. Doesn't sugar coat anything, tells you the law.
I find myself needing to use him again - and I will prevail. I will not stress over my current situation, because he is that good. His life is in his hands and I'm completely comfortable with that.

Pete was extremely helpful in preparing all the paperwork we needed. We asked him to create a trust in the event that my husband and I died at the same time as we have an infant daughter. He guided us through the whole process, taking his time to ensure that we understood everything and were comfortable. I did not know much about trusts when we started, and Pete was excellent at presenting all the information clearly and providing examples for me. He asked us questions that I did not know to ask, or had not considered, to ensure that we had a thorough document that would cover many contingencies.

Tara helped us with Estate Planning with a trust for my wife and I and a Special Needs Trust for our daughter. Tara was very patient and explained points of law to us that we did not understand. Her examples were concise and helped us understand how things would work. Also her pictorial sketches were helpful for us to understand how the assets would flow. This past spring Tara Peterson helped us with our trust and provided information we never thought of - which was very helpful in writing up the trust that best meets our needs. In addition to being very friendly and down to earth, she also answered questions regarding our elderly parents that live 4 hours away. I would not recommend Samantha Heath. I chose Samantha based on her AVVO rating, all of her honors and awards, and years of experience. However, I was extremely disappointed in the representation that I received from her and her team.
I was informed that a divorce without minor children should take 3-5 months and it should be in the $5000-$10,000 range if it doesn't go to trial. Five months after hiring Samantha, not only was I still not divorced, but she had not drafted any settlement proposals or even begun division of assets. When I questioned the timing, she insisted that the divorce was on track and that the timing was very typical.
Samantha had billed me over $8500 while my husband had been billed just under $3000 from his attorney for just about the same number of hours worked on the case. The majority of my husband's work was handled by his lawyer's assistant or paralegal while almost all of the work for my case (with the exception of ½ an hour) was billed at Samantha's rate of $395 including all of the administrative work and her responses to my emails questioning why the divorce is taking so long. I also never received any bill until after the retainer fee was used up and she was billing for more money. She claimed that I was not set up to receive them. I had asked Samantha to revisit her billing rate, but she told me that the fees that I had been billed are appropriate and reflect the complexity of my case and the expertise provided and that her hourly rate is commensurate with her over 30 years of experience in family law.
Communication was also very poor with Samantha and things were very sloppy. She did not explain things very well and in some cases gave conflicting advice which required additional emails for clarification. Forms were received with misspelled information, as well as misinformation. I could go on with other issues, but these are the most significant.

Andrew has been spot on throughout a long and emotional situation after her husband, David Briggs, died. His children convinced her that her and her husband needed a medicaid divorce to protect the money and had him sign a POA and a will while in the hospital just weeks before his death. Gary has been a tremendous help to our investment group in the LLC setup and structure. He has also been an used as an advisor in our Public Accounting Firm and assisted us in Partnership Tax Law/Compliance/Tax Return preparation. He has a very strong skill set relative to Partnership/LLC Taxation in planning and structure. Mr. Greg Hamilton is an excellant and exceptional Trust Law Attorney. He is professional, knowlegeable, talented, compassionate and has the ability to communicate on a layman's level. He never rushed us or avoided topics. He has the ability to take complicated legal verbage and explain them so that the average person can fully understand what is written.
My wife and I hired Mr. Hamilton to put together 2 Living Trusts, one for my wife and I, back in 2014. They were completed as promised and he and staff took the time to walk us through each section and answer all of our questions while including all of our discussion items from our initial meeting.
Since that time he has revised and updated the Living Trusts, has converted two into one when my wife passed away earlier this year in 2018. Help set up new trustees and put me in a position that I do not need to worry about anything regarding our estate.

I have two children, 5 and 7. I was only granted weekend visits during my divorce and over the last three years since the divorce was final things kept getting worse. I tried to file motions on my own and was told I would have a court date in two weeks. Wrong! I kept getting blown off. I searched online for a lawyer and was very unsure if I could afford one or if my Lawyer would let me down like my divorce lawyer. I decided to set up a consultation with Shelly and gave a brief description to her assistant Ruth over the phone. When I went in to her office I was nervous, a single dad going for full custody...not very often does that turn out good. Shelly and her whole staff, Ruth, Brian and Chelley made me feel extremely comfortable and explained EVERYTHING to me in great detail. I decided to hire Shelly. We had a very short time to get things ready before going in front of the referee for a parenting time violation and status conference. She did a very good job prepping for in in just a few weeks. I ended up with temporary custody and we had to prep for mediation. Mediation was not a option as we found out. So now the preparation for trial. I was very skeptical about everything at this point. Shelly and her staff did a great job explaining what was happening and telling me how I could save my self money by getting medical records or anything relevant to trial. I was still having doubts about the whole trial. With their kind words and explaining absolutely everything I was put at ease. After about six months of court dates, trial prep and then the big trial it is finely over. She helped me win custody of my five year old son and seven year old daughter. These two kids are the reason I wake up every day and Shelley and her team could see that and fought until we won! I would recommend and will recommend her to anyone that is going through a divorce or custody battle. They are simply AMAZING! Thank you Shelley and your team!!

Michael Kavanaugh was one of three or four attorneys I contacted when my wife and I needed to update our wills and trusts. I chose Mr. Kavanaugh based on some preliminary discussions with him even though he did not give me the lowest fee estimate. He was also not the most expensive. He was in the middle of the estimates I received. Mr. Kavanaugh and his assistant worked very hard on our trusts/wills which required some creativity on his part. Time was also important to us since my wife and I were headed out of town for an extended period. I had late night discussions with Mr. Kavanaugh as he tried his best to complete our trusts/wills on time. We really appreciated the extra effort and we are very pleased with the resulting documents. Even though we had some curves we threw his way and even though he worked overtime on our documents, he stuck to his original estimate. I would recommend Michael Kavanaugh to anyone needed help in the areas of law he practices.

Gary was the most knowledgeable one of the dozen or so attorneys we interviewed.
He also keeps up on new changes in the law and is very easy to work with !!!
He is also very educational in his seminars.
e.g. We learned about Lady Bird Deed through one of his seminars which is handy to keep property in your name (not in a trust where it can be taken by law suit) and yet passed along to children w/o triggering a reassessment of value causing higher property tax.

Mary Conklin wonderfully assisted in the needs of an elderly member of my church. In the process I was appointed to be the power of attorney in health and legal matters and then as the executor of the estate. Hard to find. The attorney I talked to (the owner) about helping with my mom's estate so much as told me it wasn't worth his time for the amount of her estate because he makes $300 an hour. Thank you for your honesty, but that information was not necessary. We left crying during this difficult time and he left us feeling no better with his 15 minutes of a free consultation.
