Ms. Turnbull completed a comprehensive estate plan for me in 12/17. This included a will, a trust, a power of attorney, medical directives, etc. I was able to retain her through Hyatt Legal Services. Initially, I retained a different attorney who after providing a draft of several documents, never followed up with me.
I then searched, found, and retained Ms. Turnbull based on her Avvo reviews. I am so thankful that I did. The process entailed three visits - a consultation, review of draft, and then the final review/signing. In between appointments, she timely responded to my e-mail questions.
During each step, she was always professional, highly organized, responsive, attentive, patient, and very thorough. She also had a very pleasant personality - very easy to talk too. Moreover, despite my many questions, I never felt rushed.
Planning one's estate can be very stressful and confusing. She walked me through each step with much care and detail - even providing legal research results so that I could fully understand the particular issue/topic.
What I particularly liked was the final review/signing. She put all the documents in a binder and provided a checklist/todolist as to completing the necessary tasks. This was truly a godsend and beyond helpful.
Overall, I just can't say enough nice things about her as a person, as well as, about her as a highly skilled attorney. If you are looking for someone who will listen to and execute your objectives with care, compassion, and skill, then go with Ms. Turnbull - you won't regret it!

Shauna is VERY organized. I have Hyatt legal through University of Michigan so had her do my trust, wills, power of attorney, heath directive..anything Hyatt covered.
I have an aging parent and handicapped sister so she also did a Special Needs trust so that I could make sure my sister was also taken care of. Even though I though it complicated..she simplified it. First meeting was getting it going. Second was the review and what everything means and third was notarizing ,finalizing, and filing the documents. Each item was organized in a binder for me with colored sheets dividing them and reminding what they were for..which helps my trustee when I can no longer be in charge of them. I highly recommend her. She made everything painless and I have made sure my mom and sister will not have to go to probate, my homes pass to them without probate and the binder tells them what to do if I die before them. I thought Shauna was outstanding.

I chose Armand, because I saw him defending someone else in court. I thought he did an amazing job, and now he is my attorney. Divorce is painful, but he makes it less painful. He listens, works hard, is compassionate, and reasonable. He calls back promptly, makes you feel important, cares about your children, and doesn't let you stand alone. My Father was stricken with a very aggresive form of lung cancer and it was clear to be able to provide for my mother's well being we needed a different financial strategy then the one planned by my parents and we needed it fast. I consulted with Rob and he provided my brothers and I not only with a very clear understanding of our options but a recomendation and action plan that when executed would take care of my Mothers long term care. Having said that we needed to act fast and within a few days Rob had all of the legal work complete and executed just a few days before my Father died.
Rob listened and understood our needs. Developed and executed the plan in a very timely manner. I could not strongly recomend Rob enough to anyone seeking advice and help for their elderly parents.

It was daunting to have to find a lawyer to help me through the most difficult time in my life. Erica helped me with two custody disputes in 3 years. While the process was extremely stressful for me, I felt better knowing Erica was handling it for me again. She is knowledgeable, sensible, and extremely competent. I never had to wonder what was happening with my case. Personally, I needed someone who took me seriously when I described what I wanted for my 5 year old no matter how silly or small the requests may have seemed. Erica did that, and more. I was in the market to buy a house and because 2021 was a buyer's market, many were at the mercy of the sellers and agent. I was all set to purchase a home (at an inflated price of course ) when I noticed that my ageant slipped in a substantial undisclosed fee on my final loan estimate. I discovered the fee and asked that it be removed. The ageant refused so I backed out of the deal. I subsequently contacted Attorney Peter J Mancini and for a very small incremental fee, he gave me some excellent advise as to how I could possibly recover my EMD. He patiently listened as I explained all of the details. He then took a substantial amount of time to explain all of the PRO'S and CON'S of my case and he did this in a very kind and empathetic way. He was also extremely articulate so I left the conversation with no doubt as to how to proceed. Needless to say, I followed his advise, took the case to small claims court and won the case. My family was in need of a tax attorney to help us in regards to foreign account disclosure. After coming off a terrible experience with an attorney who was non-transparent and compensated based on the rather arbitrary process of hourly billing - we decided we needed to find a tax attorney who prioritized transparency in billing in addition to competency, and we found that with Peter Mancini and PureTax Resolution.
To sum our experience up in one word - Compassion! In the most trying of circumstances, we found Peter to be not only comforting in his guidance and direction, but knowledgeable, intelligent, factual and thoroughly efficient. Unlike our prior experience, we never felt rushed and Peter always took the time to explain things in a way that we could understand. He would listen and learn about all the details of our rather complex tax problem. HIs whole demeanor was slow and steady assuring us that we were in good hands.

My wife and I had an estate plan drawn up by another lawyer about 8 years ago. When it was time to update it, our original lawyer had retired so we need to find a new lawyer. This site was actually one of several source we used to select David. It has turned out to be a wise decision as David has proved to be very proficient in the area of estate planning with a wealth of experience to draw on. I attribute this in large part because he has a sincere passion for this area of law and interest in providing his client the highest levels of satisfaction. He certainly made the process as easy as possible. Although our original plan was sufficient, there were items that David addressed in our updated version that will definitely add value. Mr. Lacey initially litigated a rental dispute with an apartment complex in Rochester Hills Michigan. The apartment complex claimed that I owed them money and was suing me for that money and more. Mr. Lacey was referred to me by a co-worker. I presented Mr. Lacey with the proof that I didn't owe the money and he was successful in resolving the issue in my favor. Because of this issue I decided to move and a few years later the complex tried to sue me for wrongful termination of the lease even though I gave the complex written notice that I was leaving because of the negative history that we had together and they agreed to let me go. I contacted Mr. Lacey again and the final result was a "tie"; the ruling was that I had to pay some money to the complex but they had to give me back my security deposit which they had held.
More recently Mr. Lacey helped my husband and I create our Living Wills.

We were in need of an attorney located in Michigan to help us dispose of family property in the state of Michigan. This involved several family members and most living in different states. We contacted Mr. Lacey to see if he could represent us in this matter to help resolve the multiple issues that were involved in the selling of this acreage. Attorney Melissa is truly a great advocate for her clients and has been a Godsend. From the time in met her the first time until now, she has been wonderful. Divorce is very hard and she was there every step of the way. She called back very fast when I had questions and concerns, even later in the evening apparently when she was still working.

I was involved in a case and missed the court. When I received the verdict I was desperate. I called 5 different law firms to ask for help, but most of them told me they cannot help me. Bryan handled my employment related complaints when no one else could help me. He was honest patient and vey understanding. He explained my case completely at each stage, it’s taken 3 years to complete but he was always there ( I felt like I had someone on my side ) Near the end of my case , the company that I worked for went out of business and I was faced with filing bankruptcy. I mentioned that to Bryan casually ( because I was completely comfortable talking with him at that point) and found out that he did bankruptcy also. About a year later I did file bankruptcy ( and he honestly helped make it a not so terrible experience. I didn’t know anything about the process but he educated me on the difference between chapter 7&13 My plan was to file chapter 7, but after his counseling I filed chapter 13, and it was the best thing for my situation. I have a sister that filed bankruptcy a few years ago and it was a terrible experience for her. So I was nervous about filing, Bryan and his team worked with me on fixing my problems and he actually understood ( because he listened) what my needs were and made suggestions that I never thought of and he really really helped me through a normally tough time. At every stage he would tell me not to worry that he had me and he did. If you’re reading this my suggestion is to just be honest with him and he can help you if he says he can, believe me he will. Dear Bryan,
I just want to thank you for making such a difficult time in my life seem manageable. You and your awesome staff were there for me every step of the way. Not once did I feel judged or left in the dark, every phase of the bankruptcy process was explained in detail and any question I had was answered in a timely manner. For anybody reading this letter, I have drawn up and filed my own Quitclaim deeds, compiled my own will and handled other court dealings all on my own with the help of the internet.
