I cant recommend her enough. She is the 6th laywer I have used and she was so much better than the others. My case had stalled for 14 months. She came in and got things moving in a week and I won custody of my daughter in 8 months out of court. She is extremely sharp was on top of all the details. The whole Schneider firm was far above the others I have dealt with.

This woman is vile and disgusting. She failed to listen to any of my children’s concerns when she was an amicus. My ex was in jail for assault, abused my children, had a DUI and she recommended that i have supervised visitation. I had no more money to fight my husband and my kids who only want to be with me are going to be forever messed up emotionally. I’m sure this woman is not a mother - and hope to God she never is. IMO she was definitely getting something on the side from my rich ex who I have recorded messages that “money is no object” to go against me. So so sad

I hired Desaray Muma as my attorney for a child custody case. Desaray has made this process a little easier for me because dealing with a child custody is very hard and stressful and she has guided me through everything and still is, she answers any questions or concerns I may have very quickly. Most lawyers will take all your money and not even care about your case. Desaray is not like that, she always keeps me updated with everything and continues to work hard. I recommend her.

I was in a marriage for 5 years. I made some poor choices which resulted in my wife filing for divorce. At first, the motion of separation caught me off guard because I thought my wife and I were healing. However, one day my wife said the big D word. I felt hopeless, lonely, and lost. I tried rekindling. After a while I realized my wife didn’t care for rekindling and I was served my papers. Tina was recommended to me through family friends but I didn’t actually know her myself. I’ve never been though a divorce and wasn’t sure what to expect. So, to be honest, I was a little skeptical of attorneys all together. Much to my surprise, Tina made me feel very comfortable. Like a family friend. She offered me advice that was beneficial and she wasn’t afraid to let me know when I was crossing the line. Tina was superbly empathetic to my problems and she actually cared about what I had to say. She doesn’t have an assistant so you get to work directly with Tina the whole time. That was definitely a plus for me. I am proud of my decision of choosing Tina as my divorce attorney. I owe her much gratitude.

Hired this Attorney for criminal defense case. Worst mistake i could have made. A public defender could have done a better job. Because of Runge’s care less attitude i was supposed to get time served on a case and edged up go to TDCJ for several months. When someone contacted him to tell him to do something he did nothing. I wasted $30k in legal fees that public defender could have done much better job.

Unprepared for almost every appearance. Once used his phone to bring up proceeders and statutes. The judge was not impressed, just annoyed. I lost every appearance in family court. Didn’t defend me or my character to the judge. A total waste of my time and money to loose everything to my ex.

First of all, don't pay any attention to the very few negative reviews on this law firm. There are just some people out there who are impossible to satisfy no matter what you do....
Dwain and Jack Downing, and their staff, were wonderful. I hired them to handle probating my father's estate and they walked me through the entire process step-by-step. I went to Mr. Sollows for help Within a couple of hrs he got back to me with all the information that he needed to help me after a child custody battle, that was literally closed and signed off 5-17-22. We had a hearing to modify Parent-child Relationship Order, from the opposing side. That I did not agree with, my attorney with Jim Ross did nothing to defend my case nor put effort towards what I was asking for throughout my whole case, 2 years! Mr. Sollows gave me the closure I didn't get from my attorney, if my case was ever to re-open, without hesitation i would hire him.

Front staff receptionist was unprofessional by speaking very loud about another person's personal family case information.

Mark Cochran was a god send in a seriously nasty divorce. First when my children were 4&5 and again when they were teenagers. They are now 26 and 28 and one is a Physician Assistant and the other is in her 3rd year of medical school. This would not have happened without his support during the hard times. He managed my case SO well! Even though at one time he actually told me that if it continued he would have to shut his practice down just to take care of me! He is a GOOD Honest man and that is one of the most important things in a lawyer. I would trust this man with my life… and I did!

Cochran has the toolset of a good lawyer; that’s why I hired him. Where the great guy mentioned in the other reviews was, though, I never found out. I’m certainly no saint, but Cochran’s eagerness to win by money whipping my legal adversary was profoundly troubling. I was above board in my business dealings and wanted to proceed accordingly. Win fair and square. He didn’t seem to get it though, so I’ve moved on. If that’s the kind of representation you’re looking for then all I can say is how disappointed I am - in both of you.

Mark Cochran was about the 6th lawyer to work for me in what was an extremely ugly divorce knock down drag out. So comparing Mark to the other attorneys that worked on my case, Mark was the only one who I felt really went to bat for me. And his office did not nickel and dime me for every breath that they took and paper clip that they used. Also, Mark does only family law, so I didn't feel like I was at the wally world of lawyer chaos as with some other lawyers who claim about 6 areas of expertise...when really all they are is spread out thin and not an expert in any one area. I highly recommend Mark.

Girlfriend was in an accident. Had police and witnesses confirm what happened. It was a slam dunk case. It took them almost 2 years. At the end we only got a few hundred dollars. They were a waste of time. I regret getting him as out attorney.

Patino was so completely out-matched by my ex's attorney. She was unprepared and did not do anything to defend me from ridiculous accusations. She caused my children to be removed from me for 6 months now and I am the ONLY biological parent. I have not done ANYTHING wrong and there are absolutely NO GROUNDS for my children being taken against my will. They were given to my ex, a non-relative of the children, after the ex filed a protective order against me and abducted my children from my home. All based on lies! The ONLY explanation for this from patino was "she filed first, she has upper hand." She quit 3 times because I questioned her. It's sad, the irreparable damage that has been done to my children.

I cannot explain the miracles Erika worked for me! She was thrown into a contested custody battle with only the notice I had when I was served. Before I even met face to face with her to hire her she had pages of research done on my case. She didn't even know if she would be my attorney and she devoted her time to me. She provided information to me not knowing she would be defending my daughters and me.
She not only had the contested custody to battle, she had out of state orders to transfer, 2 different counties to work through here in TX, back child support and an affidavit to contest.
She was very detailed in what she was going to need from me and made sure to study and document everything I provided her. She answered my questions day and night, in the middle of heated contention between my ex and me, even when she was with her family. She always followed up the very next morning. She was thrown more curveballs than anyone could have expected before, during and after both of our hearings.
She went out of her way to find me doctors, documents and anything else I needed before, during and after everything. No matter how hard my ex tried to break her/us, she didn't budge.
She made sure I came out victorious with added benefits in the end. She actually chased my ex and his "new family" out of Texas! She will fight until the end and keep fighting thereafter!
She put her heart into what I felt was an end to all means. She "adopted" us and genuinely cared about us... Still does.
If you need the best of the best, someone who genuinely cares and will work with you and for you, you need not look any further. Erika Patino is the answer.
She's so incredible I have added her to my Christmas list and that's a hard list to make!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Shelton Mead and Shelton. Their policy of charging $25 just to view my tax return is unreasonable, especially considering I never received a digital copy in the first place. Additionally, the mismanagement of staff is evident, as they have recently let go of long-time accountants who provided valuable service to loyal customers like myself. It’s disheartening to see such a lack of regard for customer relationships and quality service. I would not recommend this firm based on my experience.
