I hired Ms. Holmes to handle a malpractice case for my minor child and she was very informative, thorough, and efficient. She made the process as smooth as possible and remained very professional. If there was anything I did not understand, or was not comfortable with she made sure to provide resources and assistance. She was also great at keeping open and frequent lines of communication in regards to our case.

I called in about four to five weeks ago and spoke with a Cassandra in reference to the loss of function in my great toe due to a doctors negligence. Cassandra laughed at me when I explained to her my situation, Cassandra also explained to me that it’s “all about money” when it comes to the business. A few days after I posted my review on Google Mr.Malone reached out to me condemning her actions and explaining to me how it works, and essentially it is about the money because it can cost almost 500k to get your case started. After talking with him I removed my review from google because he seemed sincere. However I just want someone to understand for me it’s the principle and not about the money. I sent all my records over to Mr.Malone around 06/04/2024 and sent an email on 06/22/2024 for an update. Mr.Malone informed me that he would look over my files and get back with me in about a week and if he couldnt help he would refer me to someone who possibly would be able to. I have not heard back, and I’m done, basically if you didn’t lose a limb your case will not be taken seriously and the doctor can do anything to you with no consequences. It’s really sad that everytime I’ve needed a workplace enviorment lawyer or a negligence lawyer this is the energy I have gotten. If you only signed up for the more lucrative cases you’re already doing it wrong. I’m just going to leave this firm to itself. I am leaving my review up and cutting contact. Hopefully I can find someone who is willing to do it for the right reasons. This has been very traumatic for me and I just want someone that is doing it for the right reasons.

Balean and Kristy kept me sane during the hardest year of my life and I am forever grateful.
I was too nervous to reach out to a divorce lawyer even though it was well past time, so a friend of mine who is a lawyer in another area talked me into it and recommended these two personally. I can't say enough good things so I'll try and break it down into the things that are/were important to me in a divorce.
They are NOT pushy. I was so nervous the first call, I did not want to get a divorce. I even (politely) told them I hope we don't ever need to talk again. They were extremely supportive. Not one single time did either of them push me towards a divorce. They answered all my questions honestly and thoughtfully and I never felt rushed.
On the flip side of that, they are also very cognizant that their time is expensive. So for me, it is very hard to find a lawyer who is constantly aware of running up your tab, but personable enough to trust them and not feel like just another check in the spreadsheet. On top of that, I have ADHD so I can get off on a tangent with the best of them. Both Kristy and Balean we're very good at redirecting me into the areas that mattered and pushing me though the areas that didn't without letting me get hung up on them.
They are extremely prompt (during business hours, I cant speak to otherwise because I don't expect people to work 24/7), I don't think I ever waited a full day for a reply. You WILL feel like a priority. Which frankly with how being a lawyer works, is pretty remarkable.
They know their stuff. I don't know a better way to put that. And if they don't know, they make it a priority to find out. I had a few odd snafus with property issues and a few (lets say less than reasonable) demands from my now ex, and if I had a question they tracked it down if they weren't already sure.
They are generally fun and calming presences. Mediation went for a full day, so Balean was trapped in a room with me for probably 12 straight hours. And if you aren't aware (i certainly wasn't), mediation is very much hurry up and wait. When we had the mediator, it was 100% business. When she was in the other room, we walked through everything we needed to discuss, got advice, and then were able to relax and recharge a bit before the next turn. As you can imagine, its an emotional time. I went from needing to pace the hallways angry to bouncing off the walls bored to everything in between and not once did Balean get even slightly irritated with me. They are VERY aware that you're going though something and that while we need to be efficient there also needs to be room for you to be a person with feelings and needs.
So if you don't read all of that, the important bits are they are going to make you a priority and you'll feel like it, they will not run up your bill for no reason and will be honest when they think something may do so, they give you grace to be going though something hard, while also getting you though it in a prompt and efficient and competent manner. I absolutely would not even consider another legal team if these guys are available. I can't speak highly enough of this firm.

Worst Attorney
Please do not hire Attorney Dixon to represent you for Family practice or a Divorce case! I paid her the retainer fee to represent my Son and is very disappointed with her rendered services.
The opposing Attorney filed several motions and she never filed a motion on his behalf. It almost appeared that she is was working with the opposing counsel against him.
Ms. Dixon only have 3 years of experience and it showed when she asked my Son to hire another Attorney to assist her.
Horrible communication skills- Who calls a client at
6:00 a.m. to debrief the day of a trial and shows up 30 minutes late to court?
He has been fighting to receive his funds from an escrow account and reduction in child support with no assistance or responses from her! She showed no concern or compassion but still received money for providing poor service. He lost his livelihood and everything that he owned with no fight or help from her.

Bill is an incredibly effective, level-headed and thoughtful attorney. Not only did he provide a high level of expertise and guidance throughout the divorce process, he was able to advise on what areas were worth pursuing and fighting and what was not, so that I did not incur unnecessary billable hours. I was also pleased that he was always quick to respond, available for calls, and moved the case along quickly. He remained engaged and up-to-date on the status of my case, and never once passed me along to other attorneys in the firm. During the settlement process, he firmly pushed back on the other party when necessary, and guided us to an acceptable outcome. I am grateful I hired Bill to represent me in my divorce. It goes without saying, through your professional experience you've seen it all. And while for you, there is nothing new under the sun; for me, divorce is, and has been a disruptive life-changing series of events. Still, you handled every obstacle, including a few of my own emotionally driven hiccups, with legal knowledge, professional strategy, and a cool head.
Leading into our working relationship, I expressed my apprehension as a black father regarding my chances in a Family Court system that has a public reputation for adverse judgments against men. You, however, did not allow the public persona of the Family Courts to permeate my mind and instead helped me to stay focused on the facts of my case. You didn't attempt to sell me any inflated favorable outcome, and you answered every one of my questions with straightforward precision. And I had a LOT of questions.
Calina, I appreciate you treating ME like a real person, with real concerns. You never dismissed my concerns and you showed strength when presenting me with less-than-favorable feedback. I could not have prayed for a better partner during an otherwise turbulent time in my life.
I also want to extend thanks to your Paralegal, Tina Geiger, who worked diligently to keep me on task and on time with my responses, as well as Salmeh Fodor, who didn't hesitate to assist when you (Calina) was out of office. This matter was particularly tricky as it required detailed investigations, finesse, and expert knowledge of family law, noting the child was previously taken without permission and resided somewhere outside the state of Georgia. Attorney Hughes is awesome!
I initially hired and attorney from a big name Law Firm to represent me in a child custody case. The attorney sold me a dream, got paid then basically told me the best she could do for me is get me standard visitation with a very high monthly child support payment.
