This is going to be long, but if you are considering Mike as your attorney, it is everything you need to hear.
I will forever praise Mike Mastracci. Not only because of his ability as an attorney, but because he is an all-around amazing person. Let me explain....
I stumbled across Mike on Google 16 months ago. I am from Anne Arundel County, but I needed to find an attorney who could represent me in a (very) complicated custody matter in Worcester County. I had other consultations but once I spoke with Mike, I was no longer interested in using anyone else. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable about the law, but his calm demeanor and laid-back personality immediately puts you at ease.
During my case, I learned that Mike has a unique ability to adapt to situations quickly and under stress. He has a very friendly demeanor that allows him to put others at ease while he works his magic, but do not let that fool you because when he needs to come out swinging, he is not afraid to.
My custody case was a unique one, but that didn't discourage Mike. Others I had spoken with thought the outcome I was seeking was impossible. Mike did not. From the very beginning, Mike believed in what I wanted and even though he made sure I had realistic short-term expectations, he stayed in the fight and was able to obtain an even better outcome than I had originally expected... one that ensured I can always prioritize my daughter's best interest. I truly believe that hiring Mike was the key factor in the success of my case.
I will also add that Mike and I were presented with a situation where I was able to see his integrity shine through. In a situation where many other attorneys would have gone back on their word, Mike did not. I won’t speak to the specifics of the situation, but even after I explained to him that I understood if he needed to go back on it, he refused to. His word meant more than anything, including money.
As a legal assistant, I am certain that Mike is true gem in the legal world. I will be forever grateful that our paths crossed and he believed in what I was asking for, against all odds

A lawyer who doesn’t keep her words.
I used to delivery for this lawyer. Said will tip when handed but not or maybe “lawfully” yes. The security needs to call to confirm to let me in and I ring the door when I arrived. There re sounds but she tends not come to avoid tipping. Considering the hard parking and hard entry, it kind of funny that a LAWYER doesn’t keep her words. All I can say is look out, my friends. She tends to use law to fight for her benefits from everything, maybe it’s from you, her clients, too.

Last, the security have to call you first to make sure you have delivery to let me in. So you knew the delivery guy's coming. I knocked/ringed on the door several times before I hit the complete button and then knocked/ringed your door again to see if I could have the chance to get the tip. I couldn't wait longer which I see you a lawyer should understand perfectly. Even though I'm just a delivery guy I can't wait you for more time than I could after all steps I've done.
I understand you want to keep this review for purpose. But NOT BY SLANDER ME.
And everyone, I know my comment won't change your mind, as from her comments, she seems to be a very excellent lawyer in the field she excels in. But I think I still have the right to leave a message, so that everyone can see a comment from another perspective.
P.S. In the future, if you plan to tip other delivery workers, I hope(I simply hope that you would consider giving a tip. After all, not tipping isn't against the law, right?) you'll do so even if we can't deliver directly into your hands for some reason and have to leave the order at your door. Please understand that we're doing our best. It's quite challenging to get close to your office.
More importantly, as a busy lawyer, you probably can't always be available to hear the knock and open the door for every delivery, right? :)

I am satisfied with the way my legal representative presented during the conference with CPS regarding my case of unsubstantiated child maltreatment, I am satisfied with how my divorce case is handled by the legal team, the only issue with this law firm is that it charges a lot of money even before the case goes to court so if i have any questions it will be about billing

My ex employer has been harassing me on social media, through the horse community, and the court system. They had filed a fraudulent peace order against me and appealed the decision. The resulted in me having to go to court. I called jay, met him that day and the next thing I was on his caseload. Jay went to court with me and not only protected me, but he dominated and had everything dismissed.
I recommend him hands down!

First off let me say if you are looking for an attorney you have found him!
I’ve hired many attorneys in Maryland of the years and NOT ONE can compare to Ian Valkenet. He is honest, straight forward, and the most educated attorney in his field we’ve ever spoken to. Which was over a dozen for this particular case. Most of them even told my husband and I that there was nothing we could do that we were in the wrong. Deep down we knew that couldn’t possible be true. After speaking with Ian it was confirmed. There was something we could do. A lot actually and Ian was knocking them out like Muhammad Ali in the ring.
You don’t get that a lot anymore with attorneys. They tell you things and don’t follow through . Not Ian! If he says he’s doing something it’s done. This man knew our rights and was honest with us. We have been in a lawsuit since Feb 2023. From the day we met Ian for a consultation we knew that this man was who we needed. He knew the law in every aspect you can imagine. It was incredible we were actually looking forward to seeing him in trial. For pure satisfaction of seeing the defendants faces. 😂 This man won without having a trial which saved us money but it would’ve been epic to watch him in this case. If you hire him and get to see him in that courtroom it will be pure satisfaction. Even in our case for motions to dismiss he was incredible. Because let’s face it anything that involves going to court can be stressful. Everything he told us happened without hesitation. His phone calls were prompt always on time, didn’t send someone else from his office to court. We’ve had that happen on many occasions with other firms. This man isn’t just in law for a paycheck he goes above and beyond for his clients. He is worth every dollar! We would hire him over and over again. Our only regret is that we didn’t find him a year sooner. The end result of our lawsuit was we won everything we asked for and then some.
