Merideth was a lifesaver for my family. We actually worked on two divorces together. The second one was insanely difficult because my kids were involved and my ex wife chose one of the worst divorce lawyers in the business. He simply did not want to settle eventhough my ex wife did. Let's face it. There are more lawyers in New York City than you can shake a stick at, but nine times out of ten you will meet attorneys who are disinterested, inept, burned out or simply looking for a way to make a quick buck. Mr. Levitsky is not one of them. In fact, he is not your typical Personal Injury attorney. He prides himself on achieving best results possible for his clients and does not give up if he is offered a settlement. He makes sure that his clients are satisfied and tends to do things that some "old timers" are not capable of doing. He is a fighter, a skilled negotiator and an attorney who genuinely cares for his clients. My ex-wife and I chose collaborative lawyering, but the "collaboration" turned out to be extremely challenging. Joy brought first rate lawyering skills as well as emotional intelligence and wise judgment. She also demonstrated a ton of patience and an ability to address the human-side of conflicts in equal measure with the legal and material aspects, a rare quality in a lawyer (or any other human being). I don't know how I would have gotten through it without her.

I was planning my vacations in Europe, when i realized that my daughter's passport expired. Her father was not available to sign consent or for any other contact and the only way to go for me was to file for sole custody. We live in NY, so courts are extremely busy, and it seemed at some point that nothing could be done to speed the process up. Ms. Feldman demonstrated resourcefulness and great knowledge of the system, which resulted in favorable outcomes in less than two months after petition was filed.

I will start this review by saying I am really happy I chose Adrian over so many other immigration lawyers.
Me and my husband were working with Adrian for about 3 years now and cant be more pleased with his dedication and work to make our dreams come true.

When I showed up for my first meeting with Ms. Bernstein, I was in a panic. I needed help in a divorce against my ex, who made unreasonable and unfair demands and I didn't know what my rights were at all. It was the first time I ever needed legal help. She calmed me down, explained every single step to me and always told me what would be coming next. I know for a fact that she has gone "above and beyond" for me several times. One example: At times, my case was a bit difficult, since it also involved my mother having a share in the family home. The scenario was supposed to go down a typical route but she got in touch with me a short while after we discussed it and told me she'd done some reading and we had another option. I never had a problem getting in touch with her if I had a question or if something worried me. Even if she had a court appearance for another case, I always heard from her on the very same day. I also appreciated that she had a sense of humor and could joke with me at the times I dealt with my stress in that way. There were also times I felt fearful of a confrontation and she made me feel better then too, telling me she'd make sure that didn't happen. I know I'm not giving this review in the glowing words that might impress other lawyers but I'm giving it from my own point of view. Someone who was so scared of the whole process and what might happen to me by the time it was over and I just want others in my shoes to know it can be bearable if you find the right person to help you through it. I can't say enough good things about her and I'd recommend her to anyone I know.

Bonnie is meticulous, detail oriented, patient and her paper work and motions leave very little room for disputes from other attorneys. Through her aggressive but fair nature, she has earned the respect and admiration of her peers and judges alike.
My divorce was lengthy and very emotionally draining. She was not just there for me all the time to provide the legal advice but she was there as my mentor and a life coach. I hired Mr. Belgrave last year when other lawyers didn't want to take my case or their fee surpassed what I could pay. This case was from 2000 Real Estatate transaction and my original lawyer quit because I couldn't afford to maintain him. I spent thousands with no relief before meeting Mr Belgrave. I was in default in 2015 for not having a lawyer to respond. I was not sleeping at night. Mr Belgrave made me feel for the first time in 15 years that someone had my interest in mind. He is also very knowledgeable. I was purchasing a home in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn in 2005 and the seller wanted to stay on as a tenant for 2 years. I had a divorce lawyer who was an idiot. After I let him go my cuz' told me to go see Lawyer John. I went and he told me to bring my papers. After the day I gave him all my papers Lawyer John knew my case. He is a GREAT divorce lawyer and a GREAT person.
My case was a long one but Lawyer John did not forget anything about my case. If I called him he either got right on the phone or called me back.
When my divorce was done we had to go back since my ex was not paying what he was supposed to. Lawyer John was right there for me. I couldn't have done it without him.
