Let's face it. There are more lawyers in New York City than you can shake a stick at, but nine times out of ten you will meet attorneys who are disinterested, inept, burned out or simply looking for a way to make a quick buck. Mr. Levitsky is not one of them. In fact, he is not your typical Personal Injury attorney. He prides himself on achieving best results possible for his clients and does not give up if he is offered a settlement. He makes sure that his clients are satisfied and tends to do things that some "old timers" are not capable of doing. He is a fighter, a skilled negotiator and an attorney who genuinely cares for his clients. After an injury people are not the same, but Mr. Levitsky will make sure that you are restored close to the point where you were before. I say this as a client and not as a colleague of Mr. Levitsky. I went to Alfred Polizzotto Esq. for an estate matter involving litigation, 2 complex real estate transactions which involved a lot of money numbers that changed as bills were paid out on the real estate. The first day I went in to his office I felt comforted that the complex issues could be resolved with his calmness in handling and creating excel spread sheets to organize the 2 real estate transactions, private mortgage money, and bank accounts. He was extremely organized, great with computers, awesome in math, and extremely knowledgeable with the laws on all matters. He gave me a list of what documents to bring him. I had to Order 15 years of bank statements and checks. Once I gave him the copies. He put it all on to excel spread sheets. Then he called the estate attorney and told the attorney his demands for me. In the end everything Mr. Polizzotto asked for I received from the estate. Not one item did I lose because he knew how to litigate and apply real estate law and estate law to the facts at hand. I would not use any one else for law matters. He also worked Professionally with the opposing lawyer and the uncooperative executor. He’s a family oriented lawyer and treats such matters with delicacy and respect.

1. My wife and I are both over eighty. During the pandemic, instead of having us go to his office in Brooklyn, Mr. Polizzotto met with us close to our home on Long Island to discuss our case.
2. Mr. Polizzotto and his staff (Liz) always returned our email within twenty-four hours.
3. After we gathered all our original documents, we were not sure if we should mail to his office or hand deliver it. Mr. Polizzotto personally picked it up from our home, after a whole day's work and rush hour traffic in the dark!
4. When a clerical error was discovered in our application, Mr. Polizzotto redid the entire package himself!

I was planning my vacations in Europe, when i realized that my daughter's passport expired. Her father was not available to sign consent or for any other contact and the only way to go for me was to file for sole custody. We live in NY, so courts are extremely busy, and it seemed at some point that nothing could be done to speed the process up. I hired Mr. Belgrave last year when other lawyers didn't want to take my case or their fee surpassed what I could pay. This case was from 2000 Real Estatate transaction and my original lawyer quit because I couldn't afford to maintain him. I spent thousands with no relief before meeting Mr Belgrave. This man literally makes a living making clients sign a $500 non refundable contract. Kim's firm sat on my marriage documents for over 2 years and had zero intentions on ever completing it. The office excuse was that the attorney Kim's in charge was off in vacation. You will never get a call back from Kim's firm. Save your money and go elsewhere, there's a lot of lawyers with bad intentions and this man is one of them. Kim's attorney Lee called my husband just to say he was sorry and laugh his way through one final conversation with him. They need to revoke Kim and Lee's license and anybody else who behaves in such bad faith. Kim's firm takes advantage of desperate people needing legal advice and help. I lost both my medical and dental insurance waiting on a trusted attorney who had no intention of helping. Kim's firm hurt my me by blowing 2 years off our life, please don't let that be you. I was refused counsel despite repeated requests for my lawyer. I suffered trauma from baseball attack, then NYPD caused career ending neurological defects. Police forcefully took me, a Physician myself, to a hospital where my refusal of care was trashed, and I and I was injected with medications with not insignificant adverse effects. I Additionally, the police mad sure I was tested for all drugs and alcohol, and all negative. I was exposed to several X-ray based diagnostic procedures. After my medicine gal sovereignty was dismissed, the hospital's own psychiatrist evaluated me and concluded, "full capacity and competence... Okay to go home. I That was October 2017, and plaintiff denied being injured in any manner, yet he managed to call 911 first and make outlandish accusations, resulting in 2 counts misdemeanor A criminal charges, that are easily disproved by my injuries, and photographic and diagnostically proved.
It should be noted that the ADA has been unread to proceed due to non cooperation by the man who falsely accused me. Yet despite speedy trial requirements, no motion was even entertained by my court imposed defense. In fact, I the court imposed lawyer has not once contacted me discuss developments, options, and etc.
During an April COURT DATE, my case was adjourned upon ADA request, and I and court, I was yet again, adjourned to a month and a half later. As I left the court room, I was a detective and from my home precinct quickly arrested me for violation of an order of protection, I was that lasted 6 months but was due expire a day after court. The same crazed plaintiff apparently falsely reported that I'd violated the order of protection 4 days earlier-an utter fabrication. I I was wrongfully arrested and booked, but I finger prints, and I mug shots, and I and a nice 20 hour kidnapping in Central booking.
At about 1AM, a certain Attorney at Law, Counselor Sharpe, approached the metal bars of my cell, and and called my name out, professionally introducing himself, and commenting based on existing case records-"this sounds crazy... what is this fool (plaintiff), trying to achieve? And why is this case not already dismissed. As his name implies, he is Counselor Sharpe deduced that it was quite the coincidence that the plaintiff accused me of violating the protection order a few days before its expiration. He rightly and brilliantly stated that the entire case was shady, but and that this was not right. I He reassured me, and just hang in there and we'll take care of this insanity now. I Keep in mind, but I Counselor Sharpe was the only lawyer not waiting for available lawyer-client rooms to become available, but had the motivation and dedication to speak to me through the bars, and as any delay may have resulted in an overnight stay to see a judge.
Maybe 20 minutes later, I was brought before the judge. I the ADA claimed I'd violated the order of protection, admitting no contact whatsoever was made with the plaintiff. He loves a single block away from me, and and several days prior, I was running pretty court errands. Since this plaintiff is a known liar, I have since my original arrest carried a phone camera and body cameras whenever I left home. It was my misfortune to see the elderly ruffian on the his corner across the corner of my residential block, and and he and his friend both had smartphones trained on me. I jogged home, as required, while recording the pursuer. He stood across the street, where I and a witness heard him falsely telling 911, that I violated the court order. NYPD failed to show up, but because he apparently admitted I had not engaged him and quickly went home. Several days later, I was again wrongfully arrested. Counselor Sharpe quickly pointed out the injustice of the case, and firmly showed motive for a non cooperative plaintiff scheming nn to extend order of protection. The I was released without bail ROR!
