This staff is a the worse I ever have spoken to, I was, referred y my cousin carlos portillo the attorney queen has his case , he told me he walked in and really fast spoke with the lawyer, but I had very bad experience with the rude stuff, there I waited for over a month for an interview with the lawyer, but I miss the appointment, cuz I was sick and else forgot, cus so long, so I call to see if I could at least do tbe interview over the phone but they. Were mad when they talk to me , saying it’s my responsibility, yes and many other things, I can’t say, I don’t understand how they keep Mr queen a good business I guess he works hard for it cuz with stuff like this, is going to lose costumers, I will calm all my family and friends I’ve been here for 27 years I know Olot ppl, and ppl that works for the radio station, maybe this way they change this stuff, of the attorney finds out about it,

I highly recommend staying away from this firm and Trent Grissom. He was told to file a simple insurance claim 4 times. None of which did. He was fired. I posted a negative review on Google and he threatened to *sue me for defamation* really Trent?? Is this the type of attorney you would use??? I would recommend reading other website reviews which are poor. They will charge you for every small email even when it is unsolicited.

**Don't even bother wasting you're time with this 3rd string pack of attorney rejects. Trent Grissom will tell you 'oh it's my specialty...no problem'. You will then be forced to explain your case several times to him and then put it in writing, all after paying for your official consultion. He is unable to find any solution. They merely just want to run up your bill with redundent question and tactics. There is always exuses for not receiving updates (moving offices, sick, vacation and court - really??). I spent one year with this 'unimaginative clown' and accomplished zero. **Read the real reviews, NOT Google reviews. Poor office support as well. **Avoid at all costs** How anyone who could rate this firm a 4 or 5 must have been paid to do so.👎

They have had our money for almost a year for a cut and dry custody case on my step daughter and haven’t done a damn thing. Mother agrees to terms and willing to sign. We’ve had full custody for almost 2 years now. Now our taxes are being withheld for non payment of child support because NOTHING has been done. The first thing they were to do was to cancel that and we were told it was simple. Why hasn’t it been done in a year? We have requested a refund at this point to find an attorney that will do the job. Let’s see if they respond this time. Communication on their part has been a major fail.

Molly was friendly but she only did the minimum for me. I hired her to draft a separation agreement and she relayed my wishes to my husband's attorney. However her feedback and advice to was neutral without her explaining all of my options or the consequences of taking action. She did not take the time to help me strategize. It often took her 1-2 weeks to answer my emails. This made the process take longer than it should have. I got a second opinion from another lawyer, who helped me strategize more effectively, which why I stopped using her legal service.

Mr. Warren is an excellent attorney to have in your corner from the beginning all the way until the end of settlements. I personally had a previous subpar attorney before retaining Mr. Warren. Thankfully I retained his services. Mr. Warren fought for me intensively to seek fairness in reference to child custody, child support, and overall divorce proceedings. Divorce can be a nasty situation without proper representation. It doesn’t have to be if you have someone representing you who will look with an objective lens. I would highly recommend Mr. Warren if you need someone to dig in and fight for you. He’s not some “foot on the desk relaxed guy” who will promise you the moon and stars, but when you show up in court with him you will have one of the best, if not the best, attorney beside you.

I want to start out most and foremost how the hell can a law firm give a deed to someone before they even wire money to someone's account and then leave me sitting in a motel room for 2 in a half days this Law Firm shouldn't even be in business they are not professional law firm in my book they suck and I would never never never never never never use this company ever again leave me in a motel room for 2 and 1/2 days I have to eat out wash my clothes at a laundromat and then they wire my money to my lawyer and they're $150 short what a poor poor poor sorry ass Law Firm this is I wouldn't use them to represent me in a dog fight and to top it all off we've had three people try to get in touch with this so-called lawyer three people 2 and 1/2 days they will not return no calls no emails I just want to know why they still in business sorry ass company

She was unprepared for court appearances and would continue the case repeatedly due to her failure to prepare. There is a loooooong list of points where she dropped the ball. I would be typing for days if I listed them all. We ultimately ended up having to retain another attorney for the case because of her poor performance. After spending $3500 more dollars to retain another attorney, we tried to recoup some of our money by contacting the NC Bar Association. She lied and came up with a list of things she claims to have done and only said we were only entitled to a couple hundred dollars, which we never got. It's cool though because karma is real and she knows she wasn't right. I would NEVER use her again, nor would I recommend her services to anyone unless you want to just give money away with no results.

I spent 1 year trying to get disability on my own. I was diagnosed with a very rare blood disease that causes severe fatigue & a compromised immune system. I was denied that whole year of 2023. A security guard at the SS office gave me a Phillips & McCrea business card. I called Mr. Phillips & he accepted my case after our first conversation in March of 2024. My hearing was scheduled for August 20th. He took care of all the necessary paperwork, managed all communications between my doctors & the Social Security office, & prepped me for my hearing to talk to the judge. I won my disability case in November 2024. It is a very long & slow process to apply for disability but having a lawyer who knows what they're doing helps speed things up. Mr. Phillips helped me get my life back together to support my family. If you truly have serious health issues that's preventing you from working, Phillips & McCrea will help you. I was assigned Lisa Johnson without having the opportunity to meet her and assess her competency. While my husband was causing the separation process to go longer than expected, it was Ms. Johnson's unprofessional delays and failure to communicate that caused me to sever my relationship with her and the firm. While I tried to reach her by email many times when my husband was shutting off all my utilities, there was only silence. It took two weeks with me finally calling the firm's head attorney before she was instructed to call me. A paralegal never even touched base and the head attorney had no access to my case to offer help. When finally she called, she said she was too busy in court to answer my emails or reach out to me. I continued to work with her and my last communication with her was to ask if we were ready to sign papers. Twenty-four days went by without a single word from Ms. Johnson. I was served with a lawsuit by my husband's attorney at the end of this time and after learning that the lead attorney couldn't access my details when Ms. Johnson was unavailable, I decided it was time to find an attorney who would do their job in a timely manner with a firm that shared access to cases in case my attorney was unavailable. I found out that the only reason the lawsuit was brought against me was because of the delay in hearing from my attorney, which opposing counsel and in particular my husband assumed was caused by me stalling and dragging my feet. I have to incur much greater fees to go to court because of her lack of professionalism and perhaps her inability to handle her case load, and that is after 4 1/2 months and $4700 of accomplishing nothing. I am starting virtually from square one with a new attorney who in one week has accomplished more. I cannot in any way recommend her for help with legal matters due to her lack of performance. I gave her a two star rating because I couldn't bring myself to give only one star, even though she wasn't proactive -which meant reacting to the other attorney at every turn- and my case never moved forward in any perceptable or meaningful direction.

Ms. Johnson did a great job with my divorce. Initially, I had hired a local lawyer in Concord who was disaster. Luckily, through a mutual acquaintance, I was put in contact with Ms Johnson. Worst law firm that I have ever dealt with. I would totally recommend someone else. Southpark family law is unprofessional on all levels. They will not take time for you nor your case but will take the time to collect or ask about there money over and over. They don’t follow their own contracts. You can never get a hold of Meg and then you have multiple people in your file when you hired only one lawyer. I really don’t understand how any of them have there License to do this. I’m telling yall to stay away from this law firm, they will totally disappoint you.

I paid this firm over a month ago to complete a simple deed transaction for me. We had a call to discuss exactly what I needed and was assured this was not a problem. They would never respond to me by phone even though I was told I would be called back by the receptionist on multiple occasions. Over the month I never received details on the process. At the end of the month they sent me an email to tell me they were not experienced enough to handle my simple deed transfer and refunded me my money. Throughout the process I simply needed follow up or a call to discuss the status. I don't like to leave a bad review but this was very disappointing.

From the first conversation I had with Sabrina, my instincts told me she was the right person to bring into my extremely complicated custody case. The case dragged on for almost two years finally ending in a final custody trial. Sabrina was my counsel for each step of the way. Sabrina and I were able to work together as a team to navigate each step across a very challenging road. Sabrina has the ability to listen, organize strategy, and execute a plan. She possesses only positive energy and is dynamic when appropriate. Unsatisfactory experience with Heidi as a parent coordinator. Listens to react and not to understand. In a year as PC she has been unable to resolve any issues and lacks the organization to keep track of or manage any outstanding issues. If you question her billable hours she will falsify statements in her motion that she knows to be untrue. Would not recommend as a PC and certainly not to represent as an attorney.

When ever I had an issue she was quick to respond within her convenience and that was never long after I in put in a request to speak to her, 95% of the time the same day !. I’m a social worker and speak with lots of people on a daily basis. He is very knowledgeable and I look forward to having him represent me in my matter against my employer. Complete waste of time and money.
We hired Mr. Jarvis for a child support case that he said would be cut and dry. We should have known better when we pulled up to the strip mall his office is in and especially when his conference room door would not close all the way. Almost 12 months later and he has produced no results. We are literally still at the starting line. He takes days to respond to emails or phone calls.
Finally in November we had our court date, we take the day off of work, sit there in court, come to find out our court date was cancelled. HE HAD NO CLUE.... Fast forward to February, still no court date, turns out he had never requested a new court date after the last one got cancelled. We sent an email (because he is never available to talk on the phone) to inquire how he has dropped the ball so badly in our case. His response was that he is resigning from the case and will refund the remaining balance from our account. We were refunded 1/3 of what we paid up front. All of our money spent on one court appearance, emails and returning phone calls. We asked for an itemized receipt on how he wasted our money and of course he cannot produce one. Now we have to hire a real lawyer to clean up after him.

Mr. Jarvis was my court appointed lawyer, and I don't think I could had hired a better one myself. My family and I was almost ripped apart by the state of NC for no reason at all... only based on what they "thought" happened. The states social services department has way too much power for their own good. My lawyer Mr. Jarvis... went above and beyond in the court room and got our family reunited.
