Zingaro & Cretella lied to me incessantly and mishandled my case to a point their grotesque negligence made me lose everything I had. They told me things like 'you can't impute income in family court'. And how women are NOT eligible for child support with two young children and an ex making over $500,000 a year. These folks have no idea what the law is, or they are absolute con artists who should not be in practice. Attorney Zingaro's behavior was not only egregious, but also highly inappropriate. My last interaction was grabbing my file and leaving their office in fear for my safety. He was physically and emotionally out of control. Even his staff was scared. Please reach out to me before choosing this firm to represent you. I will gladly supply you with documentation and details. Please take this decision very seriously.

Gene was there for me with a very stressful incident that took place on my property. Took charge and got the answers I needed from the courts. Took my calls on his off time (weekends) without hesitation. Then when the incident was resolved he told me it was on him no charge. That blew me away. Gene is an honest good hearted person. Never responded to any texts, calls or emails, never answered any questions, never contacted me when anything happened with my cases. Ended up with the same results I would have if I hadn't spent $3000! Totally pointless and useless to have hired this lawyer.

I had a VERY complicated divorce case... Atty Levy literally saved my life and my finances and kids. He is an out of the box thinker and gave me incredible advice... Not the quickest to respond to emails but I get that he's busy... He always steered me in the right direction and we WON literally everything I wanted and needed. Other atty's in the area DO NOT like going up against him because he WINS! Beverly (his assistant) is super sweet and caring and I loved worked with her as well!

Attorney Steven Levy seemed very distracted and uninterested in my case after paying him tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees.. Whenever asked the plan moving forward to protect my family and children it was always about how much more money he would require. Never prepared and up to date with your case..

Attorney Forbes, Was chosen with the help of references from my family members who had good dealings with him in the past. This being my first divorce, and with my ex. trying to make it much harder that it should have been,even thou there was a Pre-Nup in involved. Atty. Forbes explained to me what was going to happen and what the law would allow. But they wanted to break it anyway. With over 30+ years of experience, I felt Confident with him. He suggested a plan and we stuck with it. Deposition's included. The results were great. He was able to get a ruling, and I divorced, one month before the trial, and saved me many hours and heartache. In closing, I could not have asked of better results.

I had been sent to Atty. William Forbes from another atty. who recommended Mr. Forbes to help me get divorced. I found Atty Forbes to be confident in the areas needed to get the whole process done without alot of drama and he advised me nicely as to how the process of divorce normally proceeds and as to the time line of how the required documents take place. He also helped negotiate the differences between the parties so that it would be less costly to me . In all matters Atty. Forbes was very professional and informative as to how the court system deals with divorce. The information helped me remain calm and he seemed very confident that all things would work itself out as long as I kept my wits about me and he helped put things into perspective so that I could remain positive and calm .I work an off shift and he accommodated my needs as to the times he could meet with me. I'm glad I went with Atty. William Forbes to handle my divorce and would tell any one to sit and talk with him about any court actions as he seems knowledgeable about other areas than just family matters, he also did my refinancing of the house due to the divorce and knew people to assist me in getting a mortgage quickly so things went smoothly. As a matter of fact the whole office staff worked with my case and were very helpful in assisting me in all the matters affecting my court dealings.

This office seems to give priority to the contentious (and therefore more profitable) cases. Routine divorces, where the parties are getting along, are left on the back burner. We were put off several times and ended up waiting several months for what should have been routine documents.

I recently used her in a child custody case. She was unprofessional, unprepared and billed me for documents she created that she knew the court would not review. $1000 for a single plan she knew she had no power to create or enforce. Please do not use her.

Attorney Rizzo was appointed Guardian Ad Litem for my son a year and a half ago. Initially I was concerned about having someone whom I knew nothing about assigned to represent my son. However, my concerns were soon alleviated as I came to recognize Attorney Rizzo's ability to gracefully handle my son's difficult situation. Trust is imperative in a relationship such as theirs and her straightforwardness and honesty has made him feel well cared for and respected. She is an effective advocate,maintaining an unbiased view,one in which the child's well being is of only concern. I only hope other families experiencing turbulent times might be as fortunate as my son, represented by such an adept and compassionate attorney.

In haste, I came across Attorney Toni Anthony. I didn't have enough time to do my due diligence on who or what attorney I thought would fit me and my unique situation best. I am blessed however to have come across this upstanding man and have him at my side. Not only did he provide an excellent, non judgemental legal service for myself; attorney Toni Anthony has connected with me on a human level that has profoundly changed me for the better. Attorney Babbitt and her team worked with me in a very fair and transparent manner. I was distraught as a result of my recent divorce and in a difficult spot financially. I needed to access money from a 401K and could not do so until my ex-wife completed the necessary administrative paperwork. Despite several attempts to contact my ex-wife and her attorney directly, pleading with them to complete the paperwork, she ultimately refused my request. My only option was to sue for contempt and I really wanted to avoid the courtroom. Attorney Babbitt was able to work with my ex-wife's attorney and arrange for the paperwork to be completed quickly and without a lot of drama. The team at Klein and Babbitt was patient and understanding during this period and I truly appreciated that most of all. I would highly recommend this law firm. Thank you for your help.

Hired Attorney Babbitt for my divorce. Never once received counsel. Mostly got forwarded emails from my wife's attorney with "thoughts?" at the bottom. Never responded to numerous calls or emails. In the end I fired her and she charged me $75 for a copy of my file which ended up being just numerous copies of my financial affidavit. Cannot emphasize enough to look elsewhere.

After a sneaking suspicion then coupled with another attorney’s prompt to read through my entire case file by myself, I sat and did just that in one sitting, then two, and caught him lying to not only me on and through multiple correspondences, but to many others i.e. judges, prosecutors, et al. members of the court, my friends, and family; some written, some recorded, some in audio only, some with video as well. And after speaking with parties involved, they are verifiable. I sent him an email letting him know that he no longer represented me, then went to the courthouse and filed the proper paperwork to success.

Worst experience with an attorney in my lifetime. The performance falls well below the standard of care expected of an attorney and firm. I felt unheard and undervalued as a client. I do not recommend them to anyone going through divorce.

Very hard to communicate! Wasted 4 weeks without a single call or message! Annoyed by my calls and now I have to pay more in interest! Run don’t walk ! Each time I called she had family emergency! She will not fight for you took 150$ for 5 min consultation and 4 week of nothing ! Hire someone else! Awful awful experience

I hired Kata for my divorce proceeding involving one child and a house. Difficult to get in contact with her. When I did finally have conversations with her, she seemed annoyed with my concerns. Appeared knowledgeable to the law, but did not fight for me at all, even when she would say that I was right. Felt like she was in cahoots with the other attorney. I settled the case and lost miserably just to get it over with. But when it was over she was extremely quick to want ALL the money owed in one lump sum. I would not recommend her at all.

After being in an abusive marriage with mental and physical abuse over 16 years, I was recommended to use Ms. Marino as a tough advocate. Unfortunately, my ex-husband's attorney was tougher, and I lost financially. She also did not give me proper advice about my marital home. She told me I had to leave, or the sheriff would remove me in 60 days. I consulted for free with another attorney and he said that was not true. I paid highly to find a rental with the 8 dogs my ex did not want, even though he called them his 'beloved dogs'. Would not use her again.

I would not recommend this Debra Marino as your lawyer. Debra tried to scare me with a letter for a another lawyer, when the other lawyer was caught having a affair in his office during normal business office. I would clearly watch out for people like this that will go out and help someone that was wrong from the begin. The proof is out there. This woman has no values

She told me she would fight my case, instead she bullied me into settling for an arrangement that I did not want, saying that I would likely lose custody if I didn't comply. It was quid quo pro, so basically she did next to nothing. If I knew this I would have never hired her!! She blamed me for not aborting my kids when I knew my ex was a horrible person. She neglected to call the motion for child support on the last court date. I had to do that on my own after the court case. Then ended up with $35 a week for two children as he had a lawyer and I did not. She lambasted me for my lifestyle and opinions. The last court date was erroneously filed as final judgement when we were supposed to come back for at least one more court date. Instead of correcting this, she concluded her services. Completely unprofessional and uncaring.

Mrs Evanko is representing my wife in a custody case, and before we decided to hire an attorney we felt the case was pretty cut and dry, but the father was constantly lying to the courts and other officials and it was becoming very frustrating to navigate the legal system while fighting his games. Attorney Evanko is a strong, dedicated, and professional attorney and she isn't letting him get away with it any more. My wife has a voice in the system now and for the first time in a very long time, things in the matter are finally progressing in a positive direction. Attorney Evanko has not only helped by representing my wife, she has also empowered her and made her feel hopeful about the outcome of the case for the first time. Attorney Evanko and her firm have very fair rates and payment plans which are so completely different from everything I have ever seen from any other attorney. She is not only an amazing attorney, but she is also quickly becoming a good personal contact for our family. I am looking into starting my JD degree in the next year or two and she is offering great advice and recommendations on working towards a legal career. Attorney Evanko is a different experience than I have ever had with any lawyers; from the very first moments we sat down with her for the consultation we could tell she was different. She is very family focused and oriented, and with her and the firm it doesn't seem like they are after money, you truly feel like they care more about helping people than getting rich. It is so comforting and reassuring to have that atmosphere to come to. Great firm and an amazing attorney. Anyone lucky enough to have Attorney Evanko represent them will quickly find out what we are talking about. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I was recommended this attorney by a friend and looked over the reviews on here. I saw someone say something about how she doesnt listen and try to make it seem like she didn't tell you something that she did tell you but I decided to go forth with retaining her. The initial consultation she seemed pleasant and concerned with getting me the best outcome in my case. Once I paid the initial retainer everything changed. When I would call looking for information regarding the case, I felt that I was being treated as a burden for bothering her. I get that she's the only attorney in her practice but at the same time if you do not have the bandwidth to take on multiple cases do not retain new clients and treat them as if they are not a priority. When we would have conversations she was very condescending. Material that I had provided for the case was ignored or claimed she never got it. She would make statements on one call and a few calls later claim she never said that. She would argue with me like I was the opposition instead of offering recommendations or solutions. The only reason that I am giving 3 stars is because she did help with some of the items I had asked for. If it wasn't for that I would definitely have left 1 star. I wish that these negative behaviors came out sooner than later so I could have retained a different counsel. Dealing with Attorney Rado made an already stressful situation even more stressful.

Attorney Rado and her staff from day one made me feel i was in the best hands for handling my criminal case. Attorney rado remained professional and intouch threw out my intire 2 year case. Attorney rado is truly a top notch Attorney. She handled my case with such care and devotion. Do not hire Attorney Danielle Rado! She is rude, unprofessional, condescending and simply does not care about you or your situation. She refused to answer questions throughout the process, and did not have any thought for me and the situation I was in. She is money hungry and only cares that she is paid at the end of the day, not that you receive a desirable outcome. She does not care or support women and children going through a divorce, it is clear she does not have any children of her own for the disregard she gave to mine. She left numerous nasty voicemails for me and always had a rude tone when speaking in person and over the phone.

I contacted Atty. Levin in April of 2023 regarding a matter. I chose her having friends, and relatives that know her as well as growing up with her family members. I received a text back a month later after speaking to her saying lets do this. I received texts on June 5, June 19, and July 14 saying she would contact me to meet. She was a no call no show on every scheduled meet. I was told after the last scheduled meet and blow she didn't deserve my response which was if I was blown off again it would be the last time and I would seek representation elsewhere. Atty Levin told me via text that day she would return my paperwork so I could seek representation elsewhere. It has been 22 days so far and I am still waiting for the paperwork. Text, calls, etc go unanswered. Hopefully others will have a better experience.

Jill was a very nice person and a pleasure to meet with when you were able to. She was very poor about getting back to you or returning calls, it could be weeks even months before hearing from her . I was Chad for things she said I wasn't going to be. She was a forgetful attorney and I did most of my own case work. In court she is a non aggressive attorney not helpful to your case she settles easy don't fight for you. Just not a tough art for these cases. I felt defeated way before the end. And I am still waiting for a follow up on a second part of 1 case called twice & emailed still no reply. I believe I've always treated her friendly, accommodating, polite. She is nice but I wouldn't go back sorry.

Olga was exceptional! Regarding William, he still lacks the maturity and common sense necessary for the profession. If you seek a lawyer who will truly advocate for your interests, I suggest looking elsewhere. Pay attention to the way he writes his emails, including his spelling errors. He appears nervous in front of the judge, showing no signs of having prepared adequately for his presentations. I could elaborate further, but I have already spent considerable time articulating these thoughts.

As a recent widow in my 70's I had very little experience dealing with contractors. When I needed a contractor to replace a boiler I hired someone who professed to have knowledge of this type of work. Unfortunately he took advantage of my circumstance and was not knowledgeable at all. A simple job took weeks. I paid him in full thinking the job was done correctly. I had to hire a new contractor to replace the unit that was only a year old and installed incorrectly. I contacted Patty who advised me I had been subjected to elder abuse and she took the ball from there and was able to get me reimbursed for what I paid. I will be forever grateful. Linda

I retained Fatima for modification of some of my divorce orders and she was fantastic to work with. She's smart, professional, and a true advocate. She laid out my requests, the evidence and our case very concisely to the judge, and argued for even more than I had walked into her office looking for. It was a very successful hearing and I could not have been happier with her work.

During a lengthy divorce process where my ex-wife’s attorney toyed with my first attorney, I decided to transition to Fatima. After several friends and business colleagues suggested her, Fatima spent the appropriate time educating me about certain decisions and the potential repercussions. Two days prior to the schedule trial date, while meeting with my soon to be ex-wife and her attorney, Fatima was assertive and able to negotiate the final divorce conditions and I was very satisfied. Fatima is personable, very knowledgeable, humorous and completely committed to clients she represents. Attorney Lobo knows how to get the job done, she is no nonsense, and straight to the point. She also knows how to protect what is really your property and assets even in a marriage. This attorney backed out of representing me the DAY before my hearing, leaving no chance of me finding anyone else, AND after promising to return my retainer, cashed it...$1,000 to leave me stranded..I will be contacting the bar association next!

Excellent, especially with the disabled. I suffered a traumatic brain injury and because of the injury i am bipolar I. Mr. McCoy is patient and very understanding of my illness. In my divorce he has worked hard to find a peaceful resolution. He is very concerned with preserving the family unit. I highly recommend this attorney.

With it now almost 2 years since my divorce, I thought my anger and disappointment, in Maria's handling of my divorce had dissipated. I recently drove by Attorney Chiarelli 's Office location and I felt the anger and disappointment once again. I had been referred to her, when my Mediated divorce was stopped by my now ex-Husband at the Courthouse! At my initial visit, Maria asked me why I had signed the initial mediated agreement? Well, she had been briefed by that Attorney and she was told how very, very difficult my ex was to deal with!! She was to find out how it was.After a year of, him having different Lawyers, multiple canceled Hearings, we were finally going finalize the Divorce. Over this time I compiled every single thing that was asked of me. Meanwhile, my ex had 2 arrests and I was issued, first a restraning Order, then a Protective Order. Maria just kept telling me to deal with that, with the Police. Her Para kept telling me, Maria has you, don't worry! Well, I met with her, the Friday before our Court date and went through all the financial statements and the tens of thousands I spent on improving his home. When we finished, she said you may have to compromise, I said sure, then she hit me with, she was going to use the original Mediated agreement!!! Obviously I wasn't happy, after what I'd been through the past year ect. Over that weekend, I had multiple texts from my soon to be ex, I emailed her Para, that I was concerned that if I went through with the divorce, I no longer had any legal stance. Within a short time, I received a email from Maria, she was threatening to tell the Judge, she wanted off my case, for being abusive to her and her staff. She was condescending and antagonistic. I have never ever been anything of the sort, to her or anyone else! I was truly hurt, confused and angry, that she turned on me, because of my husband. He, definitely had mental health issues and I know his Attorneys quit, because of his difficulties. However, $5,000 may not seem like alot to some, and divorces can be expensive, Maria hardly did anything for that, she actually used the actual Mediated Agreement, and just changed the dates!!! Even after, when during the Pandemic, I asked her to get a copy of the Divorce, she told me to do it myself. When I asked if she could get me the title of a car , from his Attorney, she gave me that Attorney's phone number. When I called that office, they said she hadn't even returned their phone calls! Anyone who knows me, will tell you, I am so easy going and certainly not abusive to anyone. The morning of the Court appearance she text me, be there by 9. I sat in the hall with a friend and sobbed, I was so embarrassed and sad, that she did this to me. My ex, wasn't even there because they were afraid of his behavior. I felt so disappointed in how I was treated by Maria, not because of anything I did or didn't do, but because of my ex! I have never ever had anyone treat me this way. I am a RN, and have dealt with people my whole life, to be treated this way is something I will never forget. Kathy S

Maria assisted me with my divorce, which was a very painful time in life. My situation was very complicated and not only was my future financial situation at risk but the safety and well being of my children. She was with us every step of the way and explained everything so I was prepared to handle the process. Divorce is never easy but I could not imagine going through it with anyone else. I would highly recommend her to anyone who finds themselves in this unfortunate situation.

I was extremely disappointed in Maria's lack of follow up and communication . I did not feel she was advocating on my behalf but was interested in prolonging a painful process instead. Her communications with me as , I attemptefto get status updates, were condescending and extremely unprofessional. Her antagonistic posture was not helpful in court discussions ,or with me as her client , and did not produce any result other than prolonging the case. Not every delay was a direct result of Maria but I do not feel she advocated effectively to bring any type of resolution. Thankfully after I made the decision to seek out new counsel I was able to get the ongoing battle resolved and closed in less than 3 months. Which was a great relief after 16 months of no progress at all.

With sincere intentions, I engaged the services of this individual to act as my representative during a challenging divorce process. However, over the course of several months, it became evident that Mr. Bennett lacked the requisite experience and proficiency to effectively navigate my case. Regrettably, he did not invest the necessary time to grasp the intricacies of my situation, leading to an ultimately unfavorable outcome. Despite substantial financial investment, the result was less favorable than what I might have achieved through direct negotiation with my former spouse—precisely contrary to the guidance provided by Mr. Bennett.

Kirk made the most difficult event in my life seamless. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional and proactive with understanding all the hardship of a divorce. You are better having no representation than Caryl Balskus. She is useless and will cave in at an instance, but charge you at top dollar, 1 minute rounded up to her 20 minutes, 21 minutes rounded up to an hour. You will end up losing in litigation, while paying her more. Avoid her at all costs. Literally.

I recently hired Susan to handle a divorce that was uncontested and had a post-nupt guiding the entire divorce proceeding. Susan often called with confused questions forgetting the details of my case. Her continual delays in creating the divorce paperwork were inexcusable. Her overall gruff manner and lack of communication are infuriating. She neglected to file the post-nup in accordance with the law and left me at great financial risk. If she was so remiss in my simple case, you should be very wary of using her for yours. When confronted with this egregious error she agreed to return my retainer - and then reneged on that agreement by claiming her error was easily fixable. Be very careful. She is not a woman of her word and her legal skills are clearly are highly suspect.

Attorney Moch gave my case the diligent energy and unwavering devotion to fight for what was right for me. She was trustworthy and ethical in a setting where these qualities can be hard to find. Beverly allegedly helped my family with documents. Upon reaching out to her (one time mind you) she told me to stop harassing or calling her office only trying to contact her to get a copy of a pre nuptial agreement. This was 2 weeks after another attorney John Hall stated he would send the information by mail. She basically said without cause or reason she cannot help me or my father and was so rude and unprofessional even by hanging up in my face. She didn’t even reason with why or how it got “lost” or why she can’t help us. If you want an attorney that will treat you respectfully or find your documents go somewhere far away from her.

I had a chance to work with John for buying our first house in Norwalk. He wasn’t as supportive as he was supposed to. I hired john for helping me out with loan and real estate process. But he didn’t do a good job. John also messed up the name on the deed that I have been requesting him by calling his office and emails to fix it up for last 2 months. He is not responding to anything nor taking any responsibility for his mistake. I will never trust him nor I recommend anyone.
