I can say in the beginning he was very knowledgeable seemed like he wanted to help protect me and my special needs child. Towards the end just seems like he did not care anymore he knew exactly what was happening, the fact that my supposed victim I threatened me and my child, was a known drug dealer, known to be married and frauding the government, proven to lie directly to a judge.the fact that she was I was told this is not substantial to my case. But then was told by several different attorneys it should have been included. The fact that he said I shouldn't have been arrested but did nothing about it as he was not at my arraignment. Seems when I got another attorney to ask him questions everything kind of went sideways as I was being told by Mr young one thing and being proven by different attorneys that was not the case. I spent my life savings trying to protect my special needs child that Mr Young knew was in very realistic possible danger period yeah he did nothing to prove my innocence just question me as if I was the bad guy never directly answering questions

Going through a divorce is stressful enough. Do not bring this man into your life unless you're looking to make it more stressful, and lose all your money while you're at it. Towards the end of the literal YEARS I was stuck with Dan (got too far in and couldn't afford starting over with another retainer somewhere else), I really started to believe Dan was a malicious person. As some years have passed and I have more perspective on it now, I see he is someone who is simply just lazy and in it for the $$. To pay this man $500/hour is both sickening and laughable when I think about what he actually did during that time. A whole lot of nothing. He is arrogant, overpriced, and just a lazy man. There's plenty of decent overpriced lawyers on the Gold Coast. Go find one, because Dan Murphy isn't it.

Dan provided outstanding legal counsel in a number of varied settings over the last several years. He represented a family member in court. It went very well. I was thankful that we hired him. He also helped my family with a legal issue. I have also referred him to several of my clients and they were all very happy. I suggest you talk to Dan about your legal issues. He will either be able to help you or he will be candid and tell you he can't help you.

I signed up for a divorce. After $45,000 in fees, he convinced me to settle to avoid a costly custody battle. I was promptly sued for custody. The settlement was reviewed and the judge determined I owed another $12,000 to my ex. After I went bankrupt, he sued my aunt. My aunt had given me the $10,000 retainer, and co-signed, so he used his highest billing rate and sued her for another $50,000, knowing full well she had only agreed to the initial $10,000. I then had to spend $20,000 defending against his suing my aunt, because he could just file motion after motion. Destroyed my relationship with my aunt. I lost my son. Never go to this man.

The man might not be the most personable person but he does know how to handle an extreme situation involving North Carolina and CT. I would recommend any father fighting for his child this attorney.

To be concise, he knows the law and can reiterate it well. He has a strong enough presence in the court room but focuses on things not necessary to the case. While leaving out facts that are pertinent. And having a misogynistic judge sitting on the bench these tactics were not useful in a nasty divorce. Also, I had the feeling after this judge's decision he was swayed to believing the other sides out and out lies. Lies that another judge who did not have a misogynistic character flaw would see through and rule against. Perhaps Mr. Goulden is better under other circumstances but definitely not in cases like mine. He is not good in a tough and messy divorce situation. An attorney in this situation has to play as dirty as the other side.

Absolutely outstanding attorney! The best of the best. Chris knows how the system works and will steer you in the right direction. He’s kind and practical, yet brilliant and tough! When I was embarking on a divorce, I found myself in a challenging legal situation, feeling alone and residing in a country far away from my family. After two years of stagnant progress with my previous lawyer, I knew I needed a different approach. My lawyer recommended Jill Blomberg, and that decision turned out to be a game-changer. From the outset, Jill's strategy was brilliant. Switching to Jill's team marked a turning point in my case. She didn't hesitate to take charge, steering us away from a settlement path that wasn't working. Jill, along with Molly and Rachel, took immediate action when we filed. She refused to play the opposing lawyer's game and asserted control, effecting change within months. While she made some decisions that I didn't like at the time, I always ended up learning that it was the right decision. It's obviously her world and she knows what she's doing. I can't help but think that having her from the beginning would have expedited the process. The significance of trust in your lawyer cannot be overstated, and Jill's team consistently earned mine. Attorney Andreini handled my 15 year old son's juvenile court case recently. He very skillfully represented my child's legal interests and simultaneously went to great lengths to make sure my son understood all the ramifications of his conduct. We needed an attorney for our son (for a bogus domestic dispute warrant issued almost a year ago). Out of the twelve lawyers I contacted through my company’s 'pre-paid' legal plan, only ONE (Atty. Andreini) responded to my needs quickly, with empathy and a firm commitment to help. The next day in court, he came when promised, worked with the prosecutor and gave us the 'straight facts'. His skill as a negotiator and his reputation with the court enable us to get our son out with a promise to appear. To put it bluntly, the public defender could care less concerning our child, but Atty. Andreini came through and he earned his pay that day!!!

I think the services of Bertollet law firm are poor beyond comparison. I am a prospective owner of a house .I hired firm for housing transaction and related services, buyer protection based on contract etc. During the process I had faced issues with some terms in the contract and seek help from Attorney Bertollete. As such reaching them and getting a response a question of luck . Luckily when I did get a response , I was told " We don't provide such services. We can not defend you on legal grounds for contract related issues. We just come in during closing". So we did not contact the firm for any further issues. We set a closing date 1 month in advance and informed Attorney Bertollete. 1 week before Becky comes and tells me the attorney is not available and we should move our closing. So not only do I not get any meaningful service from the firm , but I also face inconveniences and problem purely developed and caused by Bertolette Law firm. Ridiculous! In short the service could be described as unprofessional, unreliable and meaningless!

Had a very difficult divorce due to ex being a Hoarder. Linda handled everything efficiently and thoroughly and got me a fair settlement. If you hire this individual to represent you, you will live to regret it. My experience with Rich started when he helped me with a home closing. That was actually ok. But A few years I hired him to represent me in a divorce. That was frankly one of my biggest mistakes. He is at times unorganized (never did he even provide an itemized bill - requested many times however) and at times he seems unable to even provide minimal guidance or even effective negotiations. In the end, with the divorce 2 weeks from "closing" he chose to retire from the case...which frankly was ok. Our relationship was strained to say the least. Again, for what you will end up paying this man, he is not worth it. Please also keep in mind that he is a one man operation with serious health issues. If you hire him, good luck.

I am forever thankful to have Rich on my side for my separation case. It is never easy with children involved, and there were so many hurt feelings it was hard for myself and the other parent to see eye to eye. Rich sat and listened to my story, and immediately gave me insight and direction. Thankfully we didn’t need to go through the entire court process; we settled some differences through mediation. I applaud this mainly to Rich and his outstanding dedication and knowledge in our custody case. After two years of stagnant progress with my previous lawyer, I knew I needed a different approach. My lawyer recommended Jill Blomberg, and that decision turned out to be a game-changer. From the outset, Jill's strategy was brilliant. Switching to Jill's team marked a turning point in my case. She didn't hesitate to take charge, steering us away from a settlement path that wasn't working. Jill, along with Molly and Rachel, took immediate action when we filed. She refused to play the opposing lawyer's game and asserted control, effecting change within months. While she made some decisions that I didn't like at the time, I always ended up learning that it was the right decision. It's obviously her world and she knows what she's doing. I can't help but think that having her from the beginning would have expedited the process. The significance of trust in your lawyer cannot be overstated, and Jill's team consistently earned mine. Their coordination was impeccable, responding promptly even on weekends, and the balance between Jill's assertiveness and Molly's calmness was effective. When she walked in the court she just had this confidence and presence. When my ex saw her, he hated it which made me love it even more. She taught him a lesson for sure. I even received a compliment one day when walking to my car from a random lawyer letting me know that I had an incredible lawyer, providing an additional level of reassurance. Going through a legal ordeal is never easy and while I know they were all doing their job, I felt that I had acquired a temporary family and what sometimes felt like a therapist who stood by me every step of the way.

This office was very much unprofessional when I first contacted them. They stated that they were able to help me. They spent 60 days trying to obtain video footage, which they never was able to obtain then they told me that they couldn’t take on my case because they don’t take accident cases when this case was due to a car accident, so there’s something going on and they’re protecting people that they shouldn’t or they genuinely did not want to help but they were very unprofessional about it and they spent four months before they told me that they weren’t able to take my case when I could’ve just found another lawyer four months ago.

I also was taken advantage of by attorney Babbitt. She went through $5000 in 2 1/2 months couldn’t return phone calls. She would brief me 10 minutes before court had no clue if she was coming or going and absolutely was a total embarrassment. also after realizing that I could represent myself I asking for the $2000 worth of research that she did, so I could use it for the next court date….. she has not replied, or given me what I paid for. I even was hung up by one of her office workers when I asked for a time frame of when I would be contacted back by Miss Babbitt. That should’ve been my first sign to ask for a refund immediately. Her professionalism was terrible. So bad that I am contacting the Better Business Bureau steer clear. Also, two of her five star reviews are left by her employees. Lol.

Cayo has only practised law since 2012 and yet he is one of the most complained about attorneys in the state. The numbers don't lie. There are at least eight grievances against him including grievance complaints: #20-0155, Bailey v. Andre Cayo, #20-0310, Lyons v. Andre Cayo, #20-0184, Broomfield v. Andre Cayo, #19-0391, Francois v. Andre Cayo, #16-0654, Spahr v. Andre Cayo, and #16-0140, Bowler v. Andre Cayo. He lays it on thick as he is a great self promoter but it is, in my opinion, an act. I believe him to be a backstabber. In my opinion he has ruined the lives of several of his clients by not doing what he is supposed to do. Also beware of the monster bill in the end. Avoid him completely.

I hired him on the request of my children for modification of custody. When the other party wouldn’t come to the table, it went to trial. Attorney Cartier was thorough in questioning myself to set the foundation of the case. When cross examining witnesses for the other party, he hung on every word and was able to use their testimony to support my case. I would highly recommend him for legal needs and will use him again in the future if ever a need arises

Robert m Elliot is a good lawyer. He helped me win my case but he is overly pricey. I should’ve listened to the review I read about him saying he was money hungry but unfortunately I did not. In my initial meeting with him he stated that cases he deals with are usually around $4k but in the end charged nearly $12k before the curtsey credit. When I tried to speak with him about the bill he told me there was nothing he could do about it and then said he was going to hang up in which he did. I will NEVER hire him again. Taking money from my child’s mouth doesn’t sit right with me.
