I was already receiving child support, but I needed an attorney to help fight for my daughter’s rights. Her father was trying to end child support by terminating his parental rights along with doing a modification. This was heartbreaking and an emotional rollercoaster for me. Kimberly and Taylor did an amazing job in my divorce. Unfortunately mine was very nasty and very complexed . I highly recommend hiring her for all your family or criminal law needs . I hired them for my divorce. I worked with them for almost 1.5 years and they didn't know that the biggest reimbursement claim I had wasn't valid until the opposing attorney educated them on the law. Further, I got charged for responding to emails they sent me. They make sure everyone in the office touches your file so each individual can bill you. They are expensive and incompetent. I spent almost $70,000 just to fire them before the final decree. They wanted $5000 to finish the divorce. I got it done by a competent attorney for $1000. Divorce is hard and it drains you on so many levels. Do yourself a favor and find a competent attorney that is reasonable priced. These ladies aren't it. They made a bad situation even worse.

Dear Jennifer and the Martinez Legal Team,
I just wanted to say thank you for everything you have done. While mediation did not prove to be ideal, you helped ensure that my youngest son will be able to continue the one activity he is enthusiastic about and that I didn't get stuck with my ex-wife's debt. It brings a lot of solace that my youngest son does have financial support to pursue his karate passion throughout his childhood if he desires to do so. While I wish she would have wanted to support our son's interest simply because it is his interest instead of using it as a bargaining tool, we got close to what she owed me in a way that protects my son and an activity that brings him joy and increased self-confidence, which is far more important to me. You also helped me understand what was and was not worth fighting based off of what our judge would likely rule. This helped me accept the situation and allowed us to reach an agreement and not drag on the divorce process another three months.
I am sure no divorce process is ever easy. I also know that family law attorneys (or attorneys in general) don't have the best reputation, but you are the type of person who should be doing what you are doing and should not be lumped in with the negative opinion of lawyers. From what I have seen you are in this profession for the right reasons and you look to do what is right within the confines of the laws and the judged you work with.

Springer and Lyle, L.L.P. and all associates have been incredibly helpful! They literally took care of everything. We met once, a month after I had been released from the hospital and they kept in touch with me with every step taken to remedy my situation. I came out with zero medical bills, car paid off and a quite a bit more too. They always asked me how I felt before making a decision and offered advice when I wasn't sure. I used Martinez Law firm to complete a modification to my divorce decree. As you can imagine anything that involves children is incredibly emotional. With prior firms every time I discussed my case with my lawyer it was like groundhogs day. I would have to bring them back up to speed. With Bonnie she never had to be told anything twice. I can't begin to tell you how ensuring that alone was. We got the case settled in a manner that the girls got to have their input. What a win!

I hired Mr. Stone off the recommendation from a friend. In the process of trying to recover my wrongfully withheld security deposit from my former landlord, I was countersued and subsequently lost in small claims court. After Mr. Stone reviewed my case, he gathered evidence in my favor through various legal routes that I would have been unable to myself. We then filed an appeal which was heard in a higher court. My landlord settled days before the trial and dropped his countersuit. Additionally, he returned my full security deposit and paid all my lawyer fees, including other accrued charges in the legal process. Mr. Stone put a tremendous amount of effort and time into my case and I would trust him with any other legal issues that would require an honest, experienced lawyer.

I was facing a very long process from a wrongful eviction to my deposit of $1400.00 being kept. I covered myself knowing the type of landlord I had. Being a single mother of two with a grandbaby and never being in this situation before I felt hopeless, until I went online and seen this site and chose to try Mr Stone he answered we started to talk about my situation and from then on we never lost contact. Mr Stone made sure I was informed every step of the way. With his knowledge and firmness displayed to this slum lord it was without a doubt he was representing me and to the fullest. After all was said and done my results were a wrongful eviction WON also my deposit and court fees PAID IN FULL. Where this landlord took away from me believing that good people no longer exsist Mr Stone restored. I really appreciate all the work he did to represent me and the stress he took off my family. Attorney Brent Hill is like that one friend you have, who instead of telling you what you want to hear, tells you what you need to hear. If you are lucky, you understand exactly what I am talking about. This is a well-known quality of Mr. Hill within the Courts in which he practices, and when you walk into that Courtroom with Brent Hill by your side, your representation by him immediately carries that credibility, whether it be criminal or civil, which I can attest to, because I have had to experience both.
My representation by Attorney Brent Hill hasn’t always been easy. Because of his strong demeanor and directness, I even considered seeking out other council at times; but through it all, I came to understand and appreciate how lucky I was that I hadn’t been let go by him.
I’m now glad neither happened, because I currently retain the attorney I believe to be the absolute best legal representation a person can possess. We retained Brent Hill less than a week before our hearing. I am the mother of a special needs child, and was served to go to court regarding my daughters medical needs. My ex wanted to take all medical rights away from me. My daughter had a stroke at age 3 and has miraculous medical progress in the last 4 year. Taking me out of the picture as far as her medical needs and decisions would’ve been extremely detrimental to her health. We met Brent and retained him on a Thursday and our court day was the following Tuesday. We only had time for one meeting the night before court. With limited time and limited information to work with, he derailed the petitioner’s case. We are so so grateful to Brent!!!! I highly recommend him for any family law case. He is highly capable and intelligent. He clearly had a sincere desire to fight for us and the results are evidence of this!!!!!

He got me probation when I could have received a 2 to 20 year sentence in the State Penetentiary. Then, I violated probation which in most cases would guarantee a trip to prison and Mr. Wohr worked hard to get me a light sentence in the County Jail and even continued working on my case to get me Work Release so I could be home for the Holidays and continue to earn a paycheck. One of the best, if not the best Criminal Defense Attorney in the Denton County, Texas area.

Mr. Wohr is a very hard working attorney who has his client's best interests at heart and will work tirelessly to get them the best possible results. Not to violate attorney-client privileges, but I would like to write about the time I was told by Mr. Wohr that I would have to receive a sentence of a few months in county jail and I offered him several thousand dollars to keep me out of jail. Mr. Wohr was honest with me and told me their was nothing further he could do to keep me from going to jail. The D.A. had already given us the best offer they were going to give us, so Mr. Wohr politely declined my monetary offer and I received a sentence of a few months in the county jail when I could have actually received a sentence of 2 years in the State Penetentiary. Then, after my sentence was handed out, Mr. Wohr continued to work on my case for no additional money and got me Work Release so I could be home for the Holidays. A less honest and less ethical attorney would have quickly taken my money and lied about keeping me out of jail and I still would have received the same jail sentence. What more can you ask for than an honest and hard working attorney? Mr. Wohr is clearly one of the best attorneys in Denton, Texas and I would strongly recommend him to anyone facing criminal charges in the Denton County area.

I will forever appreciate his help and guidance through it all. This man is a man of great wisdom and he never one gave me the run around of anything. He spoke with firmness and with such clarity and I really needed that. Ex was abusive and it was scary trying to break away from that and save my little girl from growing in that mess. Mr.Kuykendall helped me put an end to it, ex signed over the rights and me and my little girl live in peace and I truly cherish that. I was referred to him when I asked a friend who they recommended. It just happened that he was number one on the referral list, just by using Google! Then after I read some reviews myself, I made an appointment with him. Gary insisted that I call him by his first name when we met and that made it feel very personal from the beginning.
