Jazmin was highly recommended by an old co-worker. So glad he did because she was just was my aunt needed for her divorce! She is professional, kind, honest, extremely knowledgeable and when needed, very funny! She can see through bull**** and can probably smell it a mile away. My aunt says that everyone at the firm was very kind and prompt as well. I will recommend her to everyone who is in need of her services. She’s a firecracker in the courtroom! I highly recommend Jazmin Newton with gratitude as one of the most successful attorneys in the Quad Cities. Eddie went above and beyond any expectations I had for a lawyer. I hired Eddie after a bad experience with my previous representation during this same case. My custody case had already been ongoing for almost a year by the time I found Edward. After I had my initial consult with him, I knew he would fight for my children and I, and without a single doubt- and he did. He won my custody case for me!!! I could tell he was not just here to take every penny I had, he has integrity and prides himself with his services. Eddie let me do a lot of the tedious work throughout my case, saving me a significant amount of money. His communication and response time is immaculate- you would never know you were not his only client. He never made me feel like my questions or concerns were a burden or unimportant. Edward represented me through two, eight hour days at trial. He encouraged me on breaks throughout my testimony and cross-examination, which was reassuring when I had no idea what to expect. When it came time for me to find a lawyer last year, I contacted several attorneys via phone and left messages for at least ten. Only one called me back! Thank God it was Andrea Jaeger! Andrea was able to hold my hand through a system that was hell-bent on serving up some injustice to me. I was informed of every process involved at every step in addition to feeling valued by my attorney. Andrea treated me as a human deserving of respect by listening to me and recognizing that I was not some kind of stereotypical criminal. In the end, Andrea did something for me that my previous lawyers should have done and did not - she did her job and made sure that my rights as a US Citizen were the foremost issue in this case. She challenged the validity of my case by spending hours preparing to do so. The end result? My case was dismissed in its entirety! Most criminal attorneys will do their best to take the easiest path while simply assuming that their only responsibility is to get their client the lightest sentence. Andrea fought for me the entire way and provided me with all the options but confirmed her willingness to fight like hell to protect my interests! I highly recommend Andrea Jaeger to anyone who is seeking an attorney that will always put the client ahead of anything else! Trust me on this! In my life, I have been represented by attorneys in at least 12 cases, both civil and criminal; most of whom are still practicing and have doled out tons of money to those lawyers. I would not rehire any of those other attorneys (with the exception of one but he is now a judge). But know this: If ever a situation emerges that mandates hiring an attorney, I would definitely re-hire the wonderfully competent, hard-working, client-centered Andrea Jaeger. She is worth every penny of her legal fees!

I seriously don't think I could reccomend Earl enough. My case started in Febuary of 2022 when my child's father after years of no contact, got married and they decided they wanted to start having visitations with my daughter. I was skeptical after his inconsistency and abandonment for years prior but Earl was able to put a plan in place that not only made me comfortable, but a plan that also kept my daughter in a safe controlled environment. After that failed to happen we were able to file a motion to terminate his rights and protect my daughter from someone whom lacks pure intentions. Earl was fantastic at fighting for myself and my child. He always explained things clearly and made sure if I had questions that he would answer them. After 2 and a half years of going through the courts there were times I found myself feeling a bit anxious for what was to come. Earl stood his ground for me and was all around the best choice I could have made to ensure my daughter has the future she deserves. I consulted Kathleen to help me redo my will to a trust. Kathleen was very friendly. she asked me a bunch of questions over the phone and got all my information that she needed to prepare my trust. Marie, her assistant was very helpful. She sent me all the paperwork and told me what to do. She even put labels on every place. I needed to either date or sign and that was very helpful. The best thing is we did everything over the phone so I did not have to go anywhere to get it done. My divorce and custody battle was one of the most drawn out, stressful processes because of some very large issues that occurred with my ex-husband. Jennie studied my case and knew my history and story inside out and backwards. She answered every question and took every issue very seriously. Going through a bankruptcy can be a scary process. Jeff will take away those fears with his professionalism, knowledge, caring and availability for any and all questions. One point I want to emphasize is the availability. Many attorneys are hard to get a a hold of and it is days before you get your questions answered. Back in 2019 I had my first born, I was a young dumb kid.. I was living in Wyoming, my child’s father lived in Iowa. I had come to visit and while I was here my 3 month old son’s father decided to take him from me. I went into a panic and Stephanie was there. From my first call she fought for me and my wants. We got my son back within 36hrs. From there she checked on me while I was back in Wyoming. Fast forward I decided to move back to Iowa. Stephanie was there with me the whole process. Even when my wants were far fetched she would tell me what was responsible for the time being and what steps we could take. She listened to everything and for once she actually heard me and my wants. Fast forward I got married and my sons father just kinda disappeared so Stephanie helped us getting through the process of adoption. I couldn’t be more thankful. She comforted me and listened.. she went above and beyond the suit and paperwork. She is truly there for the family and the best interests of the child.

I retained Stephanie when filing for divorce back in April of 2020. Due to Covid, my finalization date was pushed way out to the Fall of 2021. She did an excellent job to guide me through the process and she knew her stuff on a high level. She's professional, responsive and blunt in a beneficial way. She asked how I wanted to go about things while guiding me in the way she thought the court would see fit. She's aggressive yet courteous. Her passion for law helped ensure that my legal needs were met from start to finish. I have two small kids and an ex that has substance abuse and mental health issues and she pushed for what was best for the safety of my kids. My divorce wasn't cheap but it was a battle from start to finish. I can't fully comment on the financial end because I'm not sure how her prices compare to others in town. I just know what I paid was more than worth it. I can't imagine having any one else as a attorney besides her.

I couldn't be happier with the choice of hiring Stephanie for the custody modification needed. She is not only compassionate and empathetic, taking the time to really get to know every detail of the case and listen thoroughly, she is also very aggressive when needed and proactive, seeking the best outcome for my daughter. My brother and I were contemplating dividing our inherited farm into two parcels, rather than being owners in common. We were introduced to Buchheit Law by our previous lawyer who had retired. Buchheit Law did an excellent job of taking care of our request. We had a virtual meeting and she explained the process so we understood what would go on, and then kept us aware of the action required and that which had been completed. Brian has represented me for a custody modification, and is currently representing me for a divorce and custody battle with an estranged husband that clearly suffers from narcissistic personality disorder and/or antisocial behavior disorder. Brian has had to endure harrassment from my estranged husband via email, court affidavits referencing him and his family members, multiple psychotic phone calls and now bad reviews of his law firm for no other reason than the other party lost and is losing. The drama is never ending with the narcissistic ones when they are losing. It is comparable to a child's temper tantrum. Brian has had to take many, many emails and phone calls from me over the last 18+ months and was always responsive. While dealing with all of this, Brian has been successful in every court hearing we have filed and I believe it will be one more in the books after the upcoming trial is over with this miserable abuser of a soon to be ex husband.

Mr. Dane did an extremely thorough job explaining our options during bankruptcy proceedings, as well as advising on a secondary suit. He worked with us with extreme flexibility, along with open communication, and took the time to explain, and made sure we were well informed and prepared. We were very impressed with Mr. Danes honestly and realistic legal counsel as it was detrimental to decisions made with our filings. We would highly recommended retaining Mr. Dane for counsel.

Ron clearly knew the ins and outs of estate work, for which we hired him. He made me and my family feel we were in very capable hands after a most trying event, the loss of a beloved family member. Ron returned e-mails and calls almost immediately, often within a few minutes. He was thorough and detailed in his responses and in our meetings as well. He is capable of very assertive conduct when need be but for us as clients he was polite, friendly, and attentive to our questions and needs while being professional. He made certain I understood what I needed to understand (details when necessary) and that I could clearly see the process of dealing with and then later closing an estate in Iowa. Great staff, too. Fast and prompt. I recommend Ron Anderson and his staff most highly.

After my wife passed suddenly earlier this year, I contacted 4 different local Law Firms about what I needed (one being the legal adoption of my disabled step daughter). Tim was the only one that didn’t give me the “run-a-round”. After discussing some of the legal things I needed to accomplish, Tim informed me of a couple of other things that also needed to be taken care of. He took the time to get to know my stepdaughter and I and insured that we were both well informed on all of the aspects of our situation. I found Tim to be quite knowledgeable, and his dedication and professionalism were, to say the least, outstanding. Everything that I needed was taken care of within 2 months. I found his fees to be quite reasonable and would HIGHLY recommend his services to anyone needing legal assistance.

Sam did a great job fighting for what I wanted and was very knowledgeable along the way. I came a long way from where I started with Sam compared where we ended up settling. He knows his stuff and will tell you realistically where you stand and gives you insight on both best and worst case scenarios. From a client stand point I didn't know anything about divorce and law and needed information about how the process worked and Sam again did a great job with any questions I had and walked me through the process of divorce and the time table of it all. I felt like Sam truly cared about me, my situation, and getting me the results that I was striving for. Overall I am very happy I choose Sam as my lawyer.

Jenny was great to work with. From the first meeting with her, I felt at ease, which is a great quality to have when going through a stressful time. She was very smart and knowledgeable, and even broke things down into layman terms if need be. Jenny was easy to reach by email and responded very promptly. She was honest when it came to whether or not we should keep proceeding and if it would be worth it, which I really appreciated. Overall the outcome of my case wasn't to the best of my liking, but it was not because of her lack of effort. If I did not have her I would have been much worse off. I would definitely recommend and use her again if I needed to.

I met Carrie in 1999. She was my ex-husband's attorney. She helped him get custody of my daughter away from me. After that I knew she was good. If she could get my daughter away from me after I fought tooth and nail to keep her that's all I needed to know. In 2003 I needed an attorney so, I called Carrie's office. She was surprised to see me. She asked me if it was in regards to my ex-husband because that would be a conflict of interest. I said no. Right after that my current husband passed away. Carrie was both compassionate and professional. She was sympathetic and helped me through this tragic time. I have never forgotten it. I refer everyone who asks me about an attorney to her.
