I can’t recommend this team enough!
I was recommend to them by a friend after I got rear ended by a semi trailer. I remember the first time I set down with Mr. Reed. He explained to me very clearly how everything worked in a lawsuit.
The other party was not wanting to play ball but Mr. Reed, Charity and his team stayed on them. After a long battle. They helped me get all my medical bills paid from the other party. I can’t think them enough for all their hard work and determination.
You couldn’t ask for a more friendly team to represent you. Available 24/7 and has complete transparency.
Hopefully I will never need to hire a lawyer again. But if I do.

I had a bad experience with another attorney so after research & prayer, I found Mr. Chambers. I have a few issues that I needed a great Attorney for and one had become a “priority” for me as it involved my livelihood of survival in this recession state of living we are currently experiencing.
While addressing my primary issue of what I originally contacted him for another issue became a priority that he swiftly jumped on and handled - he communicated with me via text, email and calling me to ensure I understood what was happening each step of the way and how he would be proceeding as well as what he was hoping the outcome would be. He made no unrealistic promises to me which was very important. He was very transparent with me. The other party was very aggressive in their actions and Mr. Chambers calmly proceeded to receive a successful outcome and in the end he achieved success for me. My elderly father and I met with Mr. Crouse to discuss asset protection. We found out early in our consultation that Mr. Crouse would not be able to help us going forward, because my father lives out of state, and he would need an attorney from his state to draw up the trust.
However, Mr. Crouse still spent over an hour with us, educating us about our options. He explained everything in a way that we could comprehend. He answered all of our questions and really made sure we understood. He could have easily sent us home, but didn’t!

We Hired T Scott Jones to help with an incident that happened to my daughter that the results could have been very life changing and facing prison time. Vanessa Samano is simply the best there is for child custody cases, specifically high conflict. I would highly recommend Vanessa for any type of divorce or family law case, but specifically if you have a need for representation for Juvenile Court. Vanessa has the relationships with the courts, judges, and other attorneys across East Tennessee. She is highly respected and knows the law, but mostly she cares about the families she represents. I could not have asked for someone who believed in me and my case more. She will be honest, even when it's not what you want to hear. Vanessa helped me navigate a complex divorce followed by a difficult custody case in which I obtained primary custody. As a single Dad, this was not easy even though the facts were in my favor. My husband and I were in the middle of a difficult child custody case. We had two previous attorneys yet our proceedings were not moving forward. We felt we were not being heard and wasn’t sure what direction to take. We hired Sam and immediately things began to change. The contrast between the lawyer who represented my ex-wife and Sam, who represented me, was dramatic: her lawyer's idea of advocacy was to be confrontational (luring my ex to also become confrontational). She went after everything, no matter how small. She made empty threats. She did not question her clients claims and did not damp her unreasonable expectations. Why should she, she got paid either way. Sam, on the other hand, was firm but willing to negotiate and find solutions. He has a lot of experience, treated me and the opposing team with courtesy and respect, he took into consideration how a judge might rule, he did his research, he sought solutions, and developed a big picture plan which he executed, in consultation with me, in record time.
In the end my ex has a huge legal bill, and did not get more than what she deserved, and if she did, it was in consideration for our son.
The conclusions to be drawn are obvious. However, if you still have doubts concerning what type of lawyer you want, I would strongly, and without reservations, recommend you discuss your case with Sam before you decide.

Sam and his amazing staff assisted my husband and I in a custody modification of children from my previous marriage. Ultimately the modification ended in my husband being able to legally adopt my kids. Sam and the staff were always available to answer any questions that we had. They also always responded to emails. I started the modification journey with a different attorney that made us feel like we weren't getting heard and we constantly felt ignored. If I had three words to describe John Haines, it would be professional, knowledgeable and blunt. Divorce is always a sticky situation, but John navigated it like it was child's play. He's been doing this for a long time and if you think the retainer is too much to pay, it isn't. He chews gum and shoots from the hip. This does not mean he's cocky. He's just confident and that's what you need in a lawyer. Just listen to him, do what he tells you to do and it will be all over before you know it. He really isn't one of these sleazeball lawyers who is looking to overbill for every e-mail or call. I saw my ex's financials and he got billed 3-5 times a month. I never got a bill until the very end. He's there if you need him, but check your problem at the door to make sure you really need him. Divorce is emotional. He's not Dr. Phil. He's there to get you out of the predicament you're in and if it goes to court, fight for you. I appreciated his demeanor and when you hire him, you will too.
The work was exceptional, the price was fair, the stories were hilarious and I'd give him and the boys in the office 5 stars any day of the week. Outstanding work!

I heard about Jed through a family friend who also used him as her divorce attorney. So I figured I would have a consultation with him. After our consultation, I was VERY satisfied and knew that I wanted to hire him. This was back in 2018. He required the retainer, which was expected, and used that retainer towards the expenses. He was very professional, listened to my needs, had my sons best interest in mind, and maintained his integrity throughout my entire case. Not only did he handle my divorce, custody, and parenting plan case, he also handled my personal injury case, got me the most that he could, and knowing full well that he would get his share, so he made sure after giving him what was owed, I still had more than enough to cover costs. I don’t like saying I have an attorney “in my back pocket”, but I enjoy having the relief of knowing I have an attorney or any legal matters. Jed comes HIGHLY recommended by me, and will be the only attorney I use.

My divorce experience was a long, painful nightmare using two different attorneys. While I recognized the need for extra time due to the pandemic and court closures, my first attorney failed to respond to any type of communication. Phone calls were useless and it took me 5 email attempts to get even one response. My second attorney was more responsive to my communication, however, slow to make any moves. We ended up in court in front of a judge which was a stressful and unnecessary ending to an already irritating process. I swear my divorce could've been completed in 30 days had I have had a supportive team behind me.
Fast forward to the need to relocate out of state (like across the country out of state) with my two children and I knew I needed to find better representation. Someone who was truly prepared to fight for me as I knew it wouldn't be easy. John was recommended to me in the middle of my divorce by several people, but at that point it was too late in the case. I knew that he would be the person to turn to when it came time for this next fight because of the successful outcomes of the recommending parties.
John did not disappoint. His responses were prompt and full of useful information. He kept me informed of the process, deadlines and delays. He had a plan mapped out for me right away and made sure I understood what I needed to do in order to move the process along. He was familiar with the laws, gave me his expert opinion on what to do legally once I had moved out of state and helped me through a surprisingly quick and painless mediation process. I'm writing this after my cross country move that went off without a hitch truly thanks to John's expertise, professionalism and solid work ethic.

I was very pleased with Mike Watson. My charges were in a county that he's not part of the good ol' boy syatem( if you know what I mean). Mike came to me with an offer from the DA.. according to guidelines it was supposed to be the best offer anyone else would get with my charges. Mike and I sat there and discussed everything because he knew I wasn't happy. Let me say he went back and forth to the DA 3 separate times and came back with good news every single one. Mr. Houston bent over backwards for me in giving advice when I handled my case pro se. He did advise me that I would be at a disadvantage by going pro se and that I should seek legal counsel. After I explained that this was not possible due to my finances, he immediately started sending me links to click on and view TN court rules of civil evidence. I'm not sure why he was so very fourth coming with help, but he was!! I owe him BIG TIME!! I really feel this is an attorney who will look toward doing the right thing for his client and not about padding his wallet!! I was able to settle my case on the court house steps. If I had not filed the lawsuit I don't believe this settlement would have ever happened. GOD BLESS Mr. Houston!!

My son was called back to court when he shouldn't have been. Nobody wanted to help they were lagging trying to make trouble for him .Chelsea stepped up to the plate (unlike the original attorney). Let me tell you she got right down to Business she went above and beyond. Same day it was all cleared and done. She outdoes those expensive attorneys anyway hands down!!!!

Our case was a very difficult and complex situation crossing a state line. We contacted the James A. H. Bell Law Firm regarding a criminal defense for our son. He turned the case over to his associates, one of which was Chelsea Harris. Chelsea gave it her all for almost 15 months to give my mentally ill son the opportunity to properly defend himself against totally false charges that were made against him in Tennessee. She fully and thoroughly researched related cases and prior rulings in order to help give him this opportunity. We have had contact with her in the evening and on weekend days showing that she has worked long and hard hours on his behalf, not just during customary office hours.
