We found ourselves in a situation where our tenant had not paid rent in our commercial building for 2 months, and was coming up on the 3rd. I would recommend Christine Kerian for couples who are going through a divorce and want to work things out outside of the courtroom. Christine was helping me and my ex-husband with dividing our assets and writing an agreement. From the beginning, Christine was trustworthy, professional and responsive. It's difficult to write a glowing review due to the context (a divorce) as it would sound a bit odd. That said, I did a lot of research before choosing Christine and she more than lived up to my expectations. She is very good at finding middle ground in a difficult situation and is good at bringing both parties back to the topic at hand and explaining the different facets.
If you're looking for someone who cares, she's it. She really does try to make things equitable and less painful for everyone. I can't say I'd recommend a divorce lawyer as that's a very hard place for anyone to be, but if you're in that situation, I'd say go this route with her instead of pointlessly fighting a battle that's already been lost. She'll make what's very difficult a bit easier. And that's worth quite a lot.

Thanks Foglight! T. Khan helped me with a traffic matter. I was driving and was arrested for a warrant which is a misdemeanor and he got it reduced to an infraction! Atty. Madeline was very professional and compassionate for the eviction case against the tenants who used every attempt to delay the process.
The tenants used different tactics: covid, avoided service, uninhabitability, and bankruptcy twice. Each time she was able to defend and also, recoup for our losses, and win against the tenants.
When I was frustrated, she was reassuring and confident in our case, which reduced a lot of stress and fear due to the situation.
I am definitely, glad that I hired her and hopefully, never have this situation again, but would and have gladly referred her to others landlords that need help with eviction and were unsuccessful.

I don't even know where to start... Lauren has not only managed for me and my (equally stubborn) ex to settle out of court. She has also been absolutely AMAZING throughout the whole process. I highly recommend Ruben Fuentes! He helped me with my divorce and I was divorced in about 6 months! He also helped me get the child support and spousal support that I was entitled to by law. On top of that he also gave me a reasonable price and let me make payments. I was not able to find another attorney that was willing to arrange a payment plan for me. On top of that Mr. Fuentes and his staff gave me the best customer service and they were not rude. It was a pleasure working with them. Rita was a life saver during my custody suit. She was extremely knowledgeable about domestic violence law and child custody law; I couldn't be more pleased with her services. I got a collections letter from a company I've never heard of and they wouldn't work with me no matter what I did. I looked through this website for a lawyer in my area and saw Eric Sapir so I gave him a call. He didn't charge me much and he got them to get rid of the collections and also got me a small settlement from them which ended up paying for my legal fees anyhow. I'm very happy. He's also a really nice guy, he Js very hard and does an excellent job. I haven't had good experiences in the past with attorneys but I can honestly say this was the best experience.

I got into a disagreement with a major bank. I found Mr. Sapir and contacted him for help. He walked me through the process and was very aggressive in fighting for me, which I really appreciated. If you someone who calls you back immediately, without exception, and who knows what he is doing then hire Jeff! My ex was harassing me and our children. My previous lawyer said I just had to "deal with it" because there was not enough to go on. Jeff immediately got me a restraining order against my ex and then we got the custody order I wanted. He also got all of my fees paid for by my ex! I am not sure if this is how he always is but he was absolutely amazing for me in my case.

He actually took the time to research everything and didn't just show up at court and wing it like me previous lawyer. So I hired the lawyer Karen Suri this year for a modification of a restraining order/ visitation for my son. In this case I was the respondent for the case. Honestly, she was great, she answered all my questions in a timely manner and assisted me with those tough and private questions I had. Working with Diana was a gift from God. I knew my divorce was going to be messy - our break-up was disastrous - but Diana was fabulous at mitigating the items and dividing it up so that we were both happy. Or perhaps satisfied is a better word - nothing about divorce is happy. Anyway, she was amazing. She knew just the right things to say and kept both of us in our chairs the whole process, which is quite a feat, I assure you. She has a very calming effect. I enjoyed working with her and she's good at what she does. Definitely the kind of woman you want on your side.

I appreciated how when my husband of 23 years and I were getting divorced, we didn't need to go through the courts and were able to settle our divorce without either of us paying a small fortune to lawyers and the courts to get everything straightened out.
I liked that they were there to help us reach a fair and reasonable settlement and that we didn't need to be at the coruthouse every week to get things settled. It was refreshing to be able to speak my mind about some of the things that I was looking for and I like that they stress peace in the process rather than what than taking everything a piece at a time. It's a more holistic approach to divorce that allows for some emotional healing along the way.
Though this is my second divorce, I wouldn't have aproached it any other way. Courts are too draining and being able to negotiate a fair divorce and settlement with mediation was a very good choice for us.

I contacted Ariela for a consultation after an argument with my fiance turned violent. It was the 2nd time, both times resulting in dangerous accidents. I had no idea whether or not I was overreacting by considering whether or not my situation fell under the "domestic violence" category. I wanted to consult someone qualified to tell me whether or not this was something serious/warranting legal action, or something "normal" and needing just some counseling. She was able to consult me from a completely legal and objective perspective, without judging me nor my fiance (we both have had family history of domestic violence). Apparently, statistically these behaviors get worse and more dangerous if we don't get proper help (and they WERE worse the 2nd time!). Lucy (and team) helped me with a divorce recently. They were fast, easy to contact, quick to respond and I never found an error in their billing. I got a DUI back in 2014. Without getting into the details, my DUI case is not the typical DUI case and the DA was playing "hardball." Annie spent over a year fighting for me, filed motions to suppress evidence and was ready to take my case to trial. She refused to take just some plea deal. Annie was always on top of my case and kept me informed and updated. I don't know any attorney that would have put in as much time and effort as Annie did.
