Wow! We were in legal nightmare and were fortunate to find this amazing attorney, Sharen Ghatan, and her awesome team! We were struck by an Uber and had no idea what to do. typically take longer than one thinks if you
didn't read up on the process..., months !
Also a successful bankruptcy petition isn't a " gimme".
Be aware you will need LOTS of patience as most everything is done online at Sternberg Law.
My advice is learn how to scan & create files onto a flash drive properly.
That can be learned on a STAPLES copy machine.

My husband, our then 1 year old, and I were involved in a hit and run that rendered our car totaled. We had never been in an accident that bad before so apart from reporting it to the police and filing an insurance claim, we weren’t sure what else to do. Finances were tight since we had just signed a new lease that previous weekend and we would need to put aside some money to buy another car. A friend recommended contacting Ed Lee Law Offices and it was the best investment we could’ve made. My husband and I initially felt hopeless since our case didn’t seem as serious as others we have read/heard about considering no one was severely injured, but Ed Lee and his team made sure we were properly compensated for all the hardship we were put through in being the victims of a hit and run accident. We knew it would take some time to be resolved but time was all we had and after putting our full trust in his law firm, a year and some change later, our case was closed. We were compensated for all that we lost and then some. Even though the police did not find the suspect, Ed, Sylvia, Angela, and the rest of their team were able to give us the closure that we needed from a horrible incident.

I am self employed, my case was more in depth.
I interviewed several attorneys in San Diego and LA area and they were suggesting Chapter 13 and avoiding chapter 7 because of my equity in my home, they said I was limited on exemptions ie and my vehicle and personal property were at risk!
Sanaz is very creative with creating and interpreting exemptions that the other attorneys NEVER mentioned and or understood, interpreting exemptions is very important, ie “Commercial Work Vehicle” (Truck) verses “vehicle”, that changed the game, the trustee wanted more money for my work truck and was also trying me on personal property and Sanaz put them in check!
She got my Chapter 7 discharged, I kept my condo equity, I owed nothing for my commercial work truck and personal items.
The other attorneys I interviewed were ok with having me agree to make an uncomfortable stressful payment plan to make it easy for them to file chapter 13….
Sanaz and her team tolerated all my calls and emails = STRESS and got me through it.
Sanaz and her team are the ones you want to represent you!!! Worth every dollar!!!

Jefferson was able to help me get justice and a fair settlement from the at fault driver's insurance after being unsuccessful on my own. When I first saw Sonia’s interview on YouTube, I got a very good energy from her. I called her office and made an appointment for consultation and I was eagerly waiting to talk to her. I had a one hour consultation with her and honestly that’s one of the best consultation I ever had with an immigration attorney. She gave me her full undivided attention and she answered all my questions in detail and gave me some additional helpful tips on my pending application with USCIS. I had consultation with many other lawyers which is completely useless and waste of money, most of the lawyers during the initial consultation do not answer any of your questions, they just try to convince you to hire them and they are the best lawyers for your case, but with Sonia it was different, despite the fact that I already have a lawyer who helped me to file my case and she knew that I am just reaching out to her for a consultation and possible way to help move my case, she did her best and provided me with best information. I wish I would have found her sooner before I hired my current lawyer. Also her office staff Nadia was very responsive and helpful. Definitely recommended.

Lots to say! Steve took on my case at a point where I was at a low point. He was attentive, available, more importantly available for those conversations that require actual listening! I interviewed several attorneys in San Diego and LA area and they were suggesting Chapter 13 and avoiding chapter 7 because of my equity in my home, they said I was limited on exemptions ie and my vehicle and personal property were at risk!
Sanaz is very creative with creating and interpreting exemptions that the other attorneys NEVER mentioned and or understood, interpreting exemptions is very important, ie “Commercial Work Vehicle” (Truck) verses “vehicle”, that changed the game, the trustee wanted more money for my work truck and was also trying me on personal property and Sanaz put them in check!
She got my Chapter 7 discharged, I kept my condo equity, I owed nothing for my commercial work truck and personal items.
The other attorneys I interviewed were ok with having me agree to make an uncomfortable stressful payment plan to make it easy for them to file chapter 13….
