I'm very thorough when it comes to researching and finding the best of the best legal representation. I was charged with assault and domestic violence by my spouse and sadly both charges were bogus from the start. After my initial consultation with Attorney O'Connor he went right to work on my case. I hired Attorney Edward J. O'Connor, Jr and he provided thorough and comprehensive legal wisdom, expertise and execution of not one, but two cases and brought them to resolution. Both charges were dropped and were it not for Attorney O'Connor's excellent legal mind and tenacity, I would have been put in prison. I highly recommend Attorney O'Connor because he is a well respected and a second to none lawyer, he's simply the best. Were it not for Attorney O'Connor I would have lost my two young children and for this I'm thankful to God for directing me to this exceptional lawyer. I am very thankful that I hired Attorney O’Connor. I was devastated about getting a false Protective Order charge against me and I thought for sure that because I was a male, I would not get treated fairly in court. I was represented great and the Protective Order was denied. Attorney O’Connor and his Staff are the best. From my first call to the end of my hearing, Attorney O’Connor and his Staff was available and when Attorney O’Connor wasn’t available, he responded to my calls and emails in a timely manner to advise me on all of my issues. I hired Ed O'conner for 2 different protection order cases (at $1500 a pop). The first one was dismissed by the judge as it was clearly ridiculous and the judge had some common sense. The second one, however, became one of the worst things that happened to me party due to the incompetence of this lawyer. Less than 3 weeks after the first, the second was filed for unrelated accusations. CPS unsubstantiated the claim. In our discussions leading up to court it was very clear that we would take it to trial. I provided Mr. O'conner with any information he requested. At the hearing, he decided that we needed to make a 'deal' and not go to trial. I argued with him and he shamed me, saying I was a pain to deal with. How could I be confident to go to trial with a lawyer that clearly did not want to? I was between a rock and a hard place. I ended up with supervised visitation of my child, when before I had half custody. I was defeated by my own lawyer. Later, when problems arose due to the agreement not being written specific enough, he argued that I was wrong about what the deal was. I asked if he checked his notes and he answered 'no'. I reminded him that last time I spoke to him he didn't even remember who I was so how can he be so sure of his memory of such a specific detail? He responded that I wasn't making any friends like this. I told him how unprofessional and unreliable that I felt he was and am now conveying this information to save anyone else from this type of situation. Luckily, I later found a great lawyer who was able to undo all of the foolishness of this situation and restore half custody and my relationship with my child. My current lawyer and the judge both stated how it was a terrible decision to make that deal when CPS unsubstantiated the charges and I was given bad legal advice. Be warned.

I had an investment property that was damaged significantly by a tenant. I reached out to couple different law firms but ended up with Mr Schultz due to his prompt response and expertise. I was out of the state during the whole trial so he kept me in the loop continuously and made sure that I was kept up to date on all the process. Overall, I would definitely recommend Mr Schultz for any legal matter. He was able to recover most of my money back and I’m so glad he was in my corner

He knows Maryland Family law as a top experience attorney. He explained in detail the actions when confronted with opposing attorney trying itimination in my case with alternatives in which Mr Soubra countered successfully in detail. I always felt with his representation that he was in my corner. My case went to trial and his trial experience helped my case with a satisfactory outcome. Although no party really wins, his experience in family law with professionlism and experience in the court room helped my case settlement reached a satisfactory outcome in the final merrits hearing.

Jim Quinn is an all-around great person and a wonderful attorney. He takes time to answer all of your questions and will fight to ensure you get what you deserve. My divorce case presented some challenges due to a difficult opposing party. Mr. Quinn would not waver from my case goals when the opposing party tried to drag the case on and when the opposing party decided to represent himself and call Mr. Quinn constantly. He was honest with me and took time to explain things, from the time we met at the consultation to the completion of my case. He also refused to let me accept less then I deserved from the divorce when I felt like giving up. He will fight for you and make you feel like you are more than just a pawn in the legal system. He also genuinely cares for his clients. I highly recommend Jim Quinn to anyone needing an attorney.

A few years ago I found James online after consulting with numerous military lawyers and civilian lawyers, everyone told me either my case was too complicated or I'd fight a battle I wouldn't win and they wanted no parts of it. After consulting with James he gave me this look and said "I won't give up on you, so don't give up on me." He stayed true to his words, and made me feel as if I was his top priority even though he was working other cases. I NEVER not once feel like he lost interest in my case or as if I was put on the back burner. Every time I called him, he answered or called me back within minutes. It was a point in my case where we had been to court a few times and all of the judges said the same thing and I felt I was never going to win, so I called james and expressed my concern and was basically ready to give up and quit, he told me not to worry about a thing, he was not letting me give up and he wasn't giving up on me. He allowed me to make payments when I could, which took a huge amount of stress of my life financially. He didn't change the way he interacted with me and he worked just as hard. In the end he did exactly what he told me he was going to do. I am a single father who now has physical custody of two beautiful twin girls. I can never say thank you enough James. If you are considering hiring James, I strongly encouraged you to do so without hesitation, whatever problems you may have, wether it be financial, personal, physical or anything just communicate it with him and I know for a fact that he'll be willing to work with your specific situation.

Linda has handled numerous cases on my behalf from a superb Divorce, and sole legal and physical custody case more than a decade ago to modification of a visitation agreement, to an exponged 2nd degree asult case on my behalf. There is not enough space in this box for me to even begin to tell you what an excellent, knowledgable, full of integrity, proffesional this Attoney is. I was able to obtain attorney Elan Feder information through legal match.com. Mr. Feder was very prompt in returning my telephone call. I had a marital draft separation agreement and needed a family lawyer to review quickly. Mr. Feder was able to consult with me and I followed up with a visit to his office 48 hours later!. He was very efficient in responding to my needs. Good listener, prompt and very professional. I contacted several lawyers which left me very skeptical on finding the right one. Either they where not answering their phones, too busy, or did not return my phone calls, and some even lacked attention to what I needed. Mr. Feder, however was the exact opposite, and I am pleased he has been helpful thus far. I hope to retain Mr.Feder as my attorney as I proceed in the next step of filing a divorce complaint.

It was difficult for a person with mobility issues to enter and leave the building. A rail would be so wonderful outside. The team was great. We worked primarily with Reagan and she was well informed. We had to come back to the office for docs that were not completed properly - this was a little inconvenient. The team is warm and helpful and overall a joy to work with. We were pleased with the final result - wills, new deed, power of attorney docs.

My husband and I hired Justin to develop our wills and medical power of attorneys for us. The process was seamless. He called us to discuss the initial details, asked us questions and promised to develop the paperwork. In a couple of weeks, the paperwork was completed and we met with Justin to sign the documents. Had a will, power of attorney and medical directive prepared by SBWD. They were professional, responsive, and friendly. They communicated very efficiently and prepared the documents in great detail and forethought. They were sensitive to the nature of the conversations that needed to be had and new all the answers to our questions. Two years ago my wife and I updated our 30 year old estate documents. Our situation had changed a lot and Nick offered great suggestions on possible ways to do the estate documents after talking about our situation for a while. His team prepared the documents, allowed us to review them and ask questions, then we had a formal signing. Now we wanted a way to do gift giving equitably. After a short consultation, they suggested a way to change the revocable trusts to account for what we wanted. They amended the documents and provided hard and soft copies. There was great communication with them during the original consultation and the modification. I would highly recommend them.

Matt and his law firm could not handle a simple case of collections. He dragged on some good reasons for a year. Still no resolution on the case. Very poor in responsiveness and will not give anymore work in future nor recommend him.

I sought an attorney based on Google reviews, but my experience with Vijay was very disappointing. He charged me $4000 for a cease and desist (C&D) letter, billed $125 for going to the post office to send the letter, as well as $200 for two attempts to call our former employee. The C&D letter itself was unprofessional. After hiring another attorney, the difference in quality was clear. I feel that I just wasted my time and money. If you are an employer, I do not recommend this office for handling any non-compete or non-solicitation cases.

I've used this lawyer 3 or more times and every last time Upper Marlboro and Baltimore County dismissed my cases. He's one of the best lawyers in Upper Marlboro.
