I was very lucky to have Eugene as my divorce and immigration lawyer. For both matters he was someone who I felt like I am behind a brick wall and nothing and nobody can wrong me. Divorce is never easy. I hired Attorney Straccia after my first attorney was not able to perform as promised. I was skeptical at first because of my past experience. As a result, Attorney Straccia listened to my situation and showed great compassion. I found him to be extremely honest and forthcoming. I explained to him my financial situation as I had paid my previous lawyer a small fortune and had negative results. He assured me that he wouldn't in any way overcharge me and that he would be upfront and honest with the process and all of the incurring expenses. I found him to be true to his word. I received everything that I expected and I am very satisfied with the results. Of course I wish I went to his office in the first place. I would highly recommend Attorney Straccia for his honesty and integrity. I was very impressed by his professionalism and I feel lucky to have had him take my case. I will be contacting his office in the future if necessary as I know I will be treated fairly with the utmost respect. I can’t thank him enough for all of his help. Lee recently helped me through a very difficult and challenging divorce. Without her, it would not be done. James Digiulio was recommended to me by a friend and he was absolutely amazing. During our first meeting he answered all my questions ,explained all the possible outcomes and laid out the best course of action. He warned that it would be a difficult case, but definitely worth fighting. We ended up going to trial where James really shined. From picking the jury, to questioning witnesses , to presenting opening and closing arguments I was 100% confident in him. Thanks to his close attention to details one of the charges was dropped during the trial, and I was found not guilty on two other charges. Couldn't be more thankful. I recently faced a daunting array of charges, including Assault & Battery on a Family/Household Member, Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Carrying a Firearm Without a License, and Improper Storage of a Firearm. With mandatory minimum incarceration looming, my freedom hung in the balance.
Attorney Estes proved to be an invaluable ally during this challenging time. Through his skillful negotiation with the prosecutor, he orchestrated a plea arrangement that resulted in the dismissal of a majority of the charges. Remarkably, he secured a Continuance Without a Finding (CWOF) for the most serious offense, effectively avoiding the mandatory jail time that seemed inevitable.

I highly recommend attorney Velesig. He represented me on a case as a public defender and treated me as if I gave him a $5,000 retainer. 4 years later my neighbor called the cops on me claiming I threttened him. In a panic I called att. Velesig at his office at 4:45 he answered the phone himself and told me what to do over the phone how to handle the cops and to call him if I got arrested. He gave me his cell and said keep me posted. I felt relived and confident when the cops came I did what he said to do and in the blink of an eye they were gone. If I ever need to hire a lawyer Velesig is the guy!

Peter Anghinetti kept me out of prison. Twice. I know that if I had not met him in the Courthouse jail that day, I would be in prison. I made two stupid mistakes a few years back, and Peter absolutely rocked. Very smart man. Very straightforward. But also very compassionate. I had a minority shareholder working for my company that was just not performing up to our company’s standards and actually blocking its growth. I offered to fairly buy the shareholder out and we came to an agreement and shook hands on it over dinner. A day before the shareholder was to sign she backed out. John Andrews was recommended to me by a trusted adviser of my company, and what a great recommendation it turned out to be. John handled the case perfectly and efficiently negotiating a very fair buyout, without litigation, in a matter of months when these types of situations can easily last years! He handled everything so I could run my company without the distractions these type of situations normally produce. He concisely explained all my options defining the pros and cons of each important decision in a non-legalese way that allowed me to understand them so I could make the important decisions. He was responsive with communications even at night, weekends and holidays. I trust John implicitly. I found John on Lawyers .com and he was the only lawyer to call me back promptly, as I only had 1 day to find a lawyer before my court date. He listened to my problem advised me that i should meet with him that day, due to certain issues i could not and still took my case anyway. I meet John for the first time at the court and I knew right away I hired the right man for the job!!! Max Perlman represented me at the extension hearing of a 258E order in which I was the defendant. Mr Perlman is smart, confident and articulate. He successfully argued that the order need not be extended and offered several relevant points of law to support the argument. The order was vacated. Mr Perlman was respectful in the courtroom while handily neutralizing any objections by the plaintiff. Mr Perlman was accessible, compassionate and relatable. Max D. Perlman represented me in my harassment prevention order case in which he cross examined the plaintiff. He did a great job asking questions during the hearing. I had hired Mr. Perlman last minute but he did everything he could to make sure that this harassment order was not extended. He was able to answer any questions I had and informed me with everything I needed to know. As a result the order was vacated. If you google the firm Atwood and Cherny you would see an experienced firm with attorneys who represented some high profile cases. One of the cases being the Richard Sharpe case in which the firm represented a Mrs. Karen Sharpe. When we went to the firm for our "consultation" we expected it to be hopeless considering the divorce predicament we had fallen into. Cate was the attorney assigned to our case and through the entire proceedings has been professional, reasonable and encouraging to avoid court rather then go to court. Her knowledge of the court system and her experience with the probate courts made the modification process extremely easy. She not only handled the paper work but her unbiased perspective helped ease tensions from the very unprofessional opposing counsel at the Law Offices of Nicastro in Roslindale. As the opposing counsel purposely avoided Cate in order to up their own clients fees and fired up their client rather than diffuse their clients anger Catharine stayed poised and professional with every contact. One of the most challenging things about being an attorney must be having to deal with opposing counsel and Cate did it in a way that other attorneys would admire. When the bill came it was always a shock, but for the positive. I expected with the amount of emailing, contacting and back and forths from the opposing counsel that the bill would be much higher. Cate and her firm were fair in their minutes and hours. The opposing counsel would send 4 page letters which Im sure would cost the other side hundreds and yet, Cate would merely reply with 1-2 page letters that ignored the he/said she said and stuck to the points at hand. At one point we emailed Cate a long lengthy letter and rather then draft something imeediately that she knew would anger the opposing counsel she asked us to think about our actions and understand the consequences. Once we thought about things we changed a few decisions which resulted in larger gains. We first went to Cate because our previous attorney was a complete fraud and had cost us thousands in damages. Cate, not only made sure the damage didnt get worse but she remedied some of the most important issues we had with the opposing counsel. Because of Cate and Atwood and Cherny's counsel we ended a 6 month battle that would have resulted in thousands of attorney fees and endless court battles. We cannot thank the firm and Cate enough for their patience and courage. I am amazed that this firm was exactly as they had advertised. They are by far an amazing firm and although I cannot post what my final bill was I can definitely tell you, it was nothing compared to what we thought it would be.

Kelly is a great attorney whose primary focus, I believe, is divorce law. As a favor to me she assisted me with a business dispute where a lawsuit had been filed against me. She successfully filed a motion to dismiss the plaintiff's complaint within 3 days of my being served with the complaint and the Plaintiff's motion for an attachment.
