I hired Drewes Law for a family to family, as-is real estate transaction so therefore a much more expensive realtor was not needed. I hired them based on the other great Google reviews and it was a great decision!
They explained the process in detail and answered all of my questions up front, then got going on the process while always keeping me in the loop. We were working through a family member who was Attorney-in-fact/Power of Attorney for my grandmother, which slightly complicated things in my opinion but it was never an issue for the Drewes team.
Toward the end there was an issue with the county rejecting some filings, to which Drewes Law reached out to me immediately to let me know, but also let me know they re-reviewed everything and told me they were confident there was no reason for the rejection. They called my county the next business day to which the county recognized the mistake and that it indeed should not have been rejected (mistake due to being down workers/having new workers due to Covid). The County immediately approved and I was sent the Deed a few days later. Excellent work and thoroughness by the Drewes Law Team!
David, Annie and Jonathan were fantastic to work with and I would recommend them to anyone needing Real Estate law representation.
Thanks Drewes Law team for helping us purchase this little piece of paradise that my family and I will continue to enjoy for years to come!

Brian, took on my case knowing full well he had no background in the legal area I was requesting. I was assured many times by Brian that he was " a great attorney", but I never saw it. Brian made one mistake after the next and then when he made a mistake he would never own up to it. The real issue is that he put me in a horrible position with his lack of experience as it relates to my case. Beware Brian has a huge ego and will not tell you no.

My case is many years old and an ugly, non-stop custody battle. Michelle his paralegel and Brian Sobel at McGrann & Shea have been wonderful to work with. Brian was and is, unflappable! Aggressive when necessary, and seeks the truth. He is kind and compassionate about the importance of the parent/child bond and will advocate for that. He has a BA in psychology and was on the Cornerstone board and brings that knowledge and experience to the case. Alienating tactics of parties will not be tolerated on his watch. My friend Carrie K. recommended Brian Sobel to me when my ex maneuvered through fabricated events "temporary custody." Brian Sobel is methodical in his approach. It takes a long time to move through the family court process but I can sit back now and relax. A highly skilled professional will argue the law and fight for me to see my kids. I highly recommend Brian Sobel for contentious custody cases especially when opposing counsel is outrageous.

I guess that sas the same dvd the doctor told me to take hame , after a failed trail with the pain pump ( I had a spinal headache for 3 days , thank god for a blood patch ) I should have never had the first pump implant.A year and a half hater the motor stalled , then a second pump was installed, now I am on my 3rd pump , thank you for getting some compensation years later , I never was involved in any type of lawsuit before , Nicole made it very easy on my end , and made me understand that the legal action will make Medtronic build better devices for others in the future . I can’t thank Nichol Kreklau enough .

Liz did not provide the level of advocacy I needed during my divorce process. Her approach seemed more focused on maintaining neutrality and pleasing all parties involved, rather than assertively representing my interests and those of my children. Her responses to me were often delayed, even in urgent situations, and I frequently had to prompt her for next steps, resulting in numerous back-and-forth emails that incurred additional costs.
While she is undoubtedly intelligent, her manner of communication could at times come across as rude, curt, and dismissive. She also showed leniency towards my ex-partner's missed deadlines, which significantly stalled the progress of my case for several months. Furthermore, I sensed a lack of engagement from her leading up to her departure from Best and Flanigan, which, in retrospect, explains much of the issues I experienced.
Since changing to a new attorney, my case has quickly progressed forward with much clearer direction and timely action. For individuals dealing with high-conflict divorces, I would not recommend Liz as a representative.

My girlfriend needed an employment attorney and the reviews seemed overall very good. At my gf's request, I contacted this company and told them to contact her at her number. Imagine my surprise when they contacted me again instead of the number that I gave them. After that, they finally get ahold of her and set up a time for a "consultation" (their words). We get the call on the agreed upon day and it's not a consultation. We, instead, speak with a paralegal, Bernice, who sets up a time to speak with the attorney, who we are told is Nick in about a week. We wait for the agreed upon date, which we were given not a specific time, but instead a window that the call would come in from Nick. Well, we waited and around the end of the window of time, my gf called and was told that Nick would be contacting her soon. He didn't. So my gf called again, now almost an hour after the window of time ended. We spoke with Miguel, who was professional albiet short and not very helpful. He indicated that Nick had some other pressing and thusly could not take our consultation at this time as agreed. My gf inquired as to why we were not given a call to inform us this change. Miguel had no explanation whatsoever. My gf asked when would we be able to speak with Nick and again Miguel was completely inept. We asked to speak to a managing partner and Miguel refused to pass that request along. So, to review, we have waited weeks for a consultation and got blown off with no explanation whatsoever. We can't get confirmation on when we can speak to an attorney or a managing partner. This is easily the most unprofessional and inept law firm I've ever encountered. I get that things happen but communication, professionalism and a willingness to make things right is key.

Es el peor , abogado de todo minesota , no se lo recomiendo a nadie , vine para que me ayudaran con una solicitud de permiso de trabajo , y firme contrato xq éramos mi esposo y yo , pagué de inicio 3000 dólares , y me dijeron que iban a meter las aplicaciones , entregue todos mis documentos y después , pasaron 8 meses porque me dijeron que en 8 meses llegaba el permiso y cada que les llamaba no me respondían , entonces me fui directamente a la oficina sin cita , después de 8 meses y cuando llegue me dijeron que aún no habían metido mi caso 😐😐, les pedí que me devolvieran mi dinero y que buscaría otro abogado , y solo me devolvieron $1500 , no sé qué es lo que tuve que pagar 🤷🏼♀️si nunca se metió ninguna aplicación. La consulta cuesta $250 , pues se hubieran descontado eso y nada más , pero prácticamente es un robo. No les recomiendo en lo absoluto este lugar principalmente a Pascal y Xochild que era el abogado y la asitente 😐😐😐😐No vayan porque les va ir mal 😐

I hired Adam to do a simple will, health directive and power of attorney. He failed on all 3. 2 lessons learned: 1) Get someone who is an estate attorney 2) Never pay everything up front (My bad).
After 6 months Adam was still unable to put the documents together. He avoided calls, made excuses and didn’t follow through on what he said he would do (calls, work, etc.). He charged me 3 times what an estate attorney quoted me (recently). I found Adam to be inconsistent, incompetent and not knowledgeable of estate law.

Mr. Burns made a huge mistake in my case by stating I could move forward with a foreclosure action when I could not. He then withheld this critical information for 60 days. I filed a complaint with the Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility.
