In the fall of 2015, I suffered a crush injury on a construction site in NYC. I was taken on by what is considered one of the top law firms in the North East. 6 months into my case, they dropped me citing the difficulty in winning my case. The Perecman Firm looked over my case and eagerly took it on. From day 1 they coordinated all of my case needs. All of my follow up doctor visits and Independent Medical Examiner appointments were over seen and documented by their group of experts. Ed Guldi walked my case through the red tape of NYS Workers Comp and Silvana Leone navigated me through the incredibly arduous path of obtaining SSDI like she wrote the code! Every T was crossed and every I was dotted!
As for case itself, Steven Dorfman nailed it… not only did he win, his filings and oral arguments resulted in the case receiving summary judgement and I never stepped foot in a courtroom! His work was so convincing and thorough that he left opposing council no alternative than to settle and he over-performed again negotiating a settlement beyond my wildest expectations!

I was a nervious wreck because my landlord had stopped accepting my rent and was threatning to evict me. At my wit's end, I found Mr. Hanover on- line as I was not confident in the lawyer I had at the time. He advised me and my mom as to what to do and represented us in court. On the day that the summary procedings were to begin, he met with the attorney of the real estate giant (Lefrak City) at the court house and settled the matter. As a result of his assistance, I have been granted succession rights three years later. His professionlism, knowledge and down right tenacity has afforded me the right to maintain residency in the rent stabalized apartment that I lived in for over 30 years that was originally leased by my mom . Mr. Saltzman helped me when my daughter was abducted from The Netherlands. As for most of us, this was the first time (and hopefully the last) time i had a case like this.
Apart from the professional side, for which he did an excellent job (we pretty much won everything) he gave me the strenght and confidence i needed to go to Court at the other end of the world to enforce the rights of my daughter and me.
In these cases of extreme (personal) importance and with high emotions you need someone like mr. Saltzman, who keeps his head cool.
He was accurate and also took care of thinghs like certified translations, subpoena's etc. He also had the patience to explain me proceedings etc.
He kept me well informed and at the days in Court, he was very pleasant and a big support.

Sheera promptly helped me with my divorce problems. She was not only fast but showed me a very broad and firm knowledge about the divorce process in NY. At first I had chosen not to have representation and trusted only the other party's law firm. Serge truly has an extreme attention to details that no other attorney was able to see. He is very logical, he provides an honest and realistic assessment of the situation and he's genuine and honest.

Serge Kolmykov is one of the elite patent attorneys in the country. His initial advice was right on point and cost me nothing. My business was targeted by one of the patent trolls which essentially wanted to extort money out of me with imminent threat of litigation. Knowing nothing about patent law, I contacted Serge and was expecting to spend a large sum of money to get rid of this nuisance. Serge asked for some preliminary details and immediately put together an aggressive strategy based on his findings. His engineering degree came in handy as he was able to sift through the vague allegations and developed a number of non-infringement and invalidity defenses. After some aggressive negotiating, I walked away paying nothing. Great result, great person to deal with! I am also thinking of filing for some patents myself so he will be doing it for me as well.

I was refer to Ms Puleo from a different lawyer.
When I talk to Ms Puleo on the phone she understood and hear me.
She took my case. I did everything she requested of me.
She kept an eye on the court date.
The court date change and she was on top of it and notified me. I change my plan to the new date. - I read of nightmare when lawyers don't know if the court date change - it was not the case with me.
The case got dismiss ( yes you read correctly)
I still pay child support voluntarily. I believe a child should be taking care of with a fair amount.
If the child mother decide to take me to family court again, I will hire Ms Puleo again.

My experience with Kramer, Dunleavy & Ratchik, PLLC was breathtaking. I was run over by a car in Harlem while crossing a crosswalk with the right of way. The guy driving was 100% at fault. The state bar of NY enthusiastically recommend I set up a consultation with them. So I had a 5 minute call with his paralegal, Joanne O’Connell, it was nice. She wanted me to send my neurologist medical records to review and the detailed police report. Made it happen. Then, all communication ceased. No email was replied to thereafter. The only reason I can come up with is that Kramer, Dunleavy & Ratchik genuinely believe there is no merit in finding justice for pedestrians who wrongfully get run over by a car in the state of New York left with long-term injuries.
So I found an actual attorney who got to work, now everything is good.
This concludes my final thoughts on KD&R for now. I’m extremely honored to have been in Joanne’s presence. She and KD&R are extraordinary human beings - but has no follow through and all that talk lead to nothing.

After I tripped on an uneven sidewalk on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, my neighbor, a longstanding friend, introduced me to attorney Jonathan Ratchik who took my case on as he and the doctors deemed my left foot was severely injured.
The landlord had failed to properly maintain the sidewalk in front of the brownstone he owned, posing a clear and present danger to pedestrians.
Mr. Ratchik knows his law. He is patient and thorough. He guided me well, coached me thoroughly on the procedures, and allowed me to make decisions about medical treatment and the course of our legal action which took nearly three years when the landlord’s insurance company offered a fair settlement which we accepted.
