Leta represented me during the 2022-23 process of an uncontested divorce. Even though my ex spouse and I were amicable, it was still a very difficult time as we navigate through the details of children's custody and alimony. I was the spouse who had more to lose from financial sense and Leta listened to my concern and helped me legally navigate a fair outcome. She was always responsive and really took the time to explain the divorce process, and the "why's' behind each statement in the divorce paper as we drafted it. She even gave me tips on how to approach talking to my ex as we negotiate. She took the time to listen and I was really impressed with how empathetic she was. I did not like some of the other lawyers who had personalities to be "out to get my ex". I was trying to move forward amicably but still makes sure my interests were protected. Leta was very upfront about how long a divorce process in NYC due to backlog and estimate that from filing separation to judge decree, it would take 1 year. She was spot on (illustrates her experience and honesty to not sugar coat). Overall she's made the most difficult process in my life bearable. I felt like my outcome was fair/expedient and fairly charged. I also want to compliment her paralegals who were so prompt in all their responses. Anytime I wanted to talk/email I always heard from them in less than 1-2 BD max. I've actually recommended her to another friend of friend who's seeking divorce too.

Horrible! As his clients he never returned my phone calls and I had to hired another lawyer to get in touch with him for my divorced paper . He doesn’t answer my phone calls and called me to requested rest of the payment and he received the rest of the money and he still haven’t gotten back to me even in his own client. I would never recommend him to someone . I’m wondering all this good reviews it might be people he pay too or he asked friend to leave good review, because on my side bad experience and I still waiting for him to answer me or call me as his client.

I was one year into my divorce case, my Ex wife had all sorts of false order of protection against me crippling my ability to even see my kids, I hadn’t seen my first son for 6 months and never met my new born until he was 3 months old. I don't often write reviews but my experience with Adam through a highly contested, emotional rollercoaster of a divorce proceeding compelled me to do so. Adam's calm demeanor, steady approach to litigation and solid advice throughout the proceedings allowed me to navigate the mine field of my divorce with confidence. His pragmatic approach was much appreciated as he always communicated potential outcomes which we discussed to decide the best way forward. I had as wonderful of an experience as one can have going through the divorce process with Nick as my attorney. I had switched a year into my case with no movement. Nick was able to come in and quickly catch up. He skillfully navigated a high conflict divorce and helped in protecting both myself and the children. He acted quickly, was very communicative, caring and was always was thinking out of the box. He is honest and made me feel safe and always had my best interest in mind. I would highly recommend Nick and plan to continue to use him in the future.

As a caregiver for many years of a family member who had Parkinson's disease, our Licensed Clinical Social Worker at our hospital Neurology Department presented me with three names of eldercare law firms as my family member's health was declining.
I interviewed all three firms, then selected Lamson & Cutner to proceed with our eldercare requirements for help in navigating the ever changing legal requirements as to long term nursing home care when on USA Government health care insurances.
I am so happy to have found this law firm for help , my family members agree ,that it was the wisest decision for me to make.
No one can do this complicated legal work alone and it is best ,if possible to proceed with legal issues when the ill person can still understand and contibute their own desires as to what their assets distribution ,usually but not exclusivly into an Irrevocable trust, as well as critical end of life decisions to their family which should be then ultimately drawn up in legal documents by an Attorney .
As the LSCW stated to me when I hesitated thinking "I had so much time to get to this issue" ...'Don't put it off"!

If you need an attorney for custody, Rory is your guy! He is personable and I’ve had nothing but great experiences with him. He knows what he’s doing and is always prepared and professional. I hired Eric in 2014 when the divorce process started for me and he has followed through with me today, finalizing my divorce, following up on child support arrears, etc. I met with several attorneys before making a selection and chose Eric due to his warm, kind, professional demeanor. Eric explains everything in detail, is there to answer all of my questions as has handled everything with class, respect and decency (even though we are dealing with a not so ideal situation.) I can not recommend Eric enough. Divorce is not an easy thing to experience as having a gentleman like Eric by my side, made the process a little less stressful. HIGHLY recommend!

Walt Disney once said that, “Do what you do so well that they will want to see it again and bring their friends.” Mr. Hannan was whom he was speaking of. So here is my request to friends.
We had a situation where we felt we were taken advantage of. Mr. Hannan not only explained in honest and clear way of how the case would proceed, he was exactly right. There was absolutely no surprises, which is all I want from an attorney. While I understand you can't win every case (which we did get the settlement he said we would), you can expect ethics and Mr. Hannan is the epitome of that.
Going forward, while I hope I never "need" an attorney again, I will "want" to see him in action as he is fantastic.

In the fall of 2020 I made an offer on a house my wife and I wanted to start our family in, so in good faith we put 20k down as our deposit and went through with the process. Unbeknownst to us there were sewer easements running through the front and rear of the property; we only found out this information about a week before our closing date. When our contract lawyer brought this to our attention he advised us that he put a clause in the contract so we would be able to squash the deal and retain our deposit. When push came to shove the seller didn’t want to give our money back. It was at this time we were advised by our contract lawyer to seek a litigator, so we asked him for a referral. That’s when Michael Heitmann came into our lives. Even with the impending holidays he was able to keep us involved in the ever changing situations. I work a 7-3 job on a construction site so my availability during the day is almost nonexistent Michael went as far as to take my call after hours to ease my concerns about the case. Within a few short weeks after retaining Mr Heitmann with minimal concession we got our money back.. I’m grateful for all your work.. thank you

I decided to hire Irene after consulting with a few attorneys regarding my child custody case. What made her stand out is her experience working at the Children’s Law Center of NY and her attention to detail. She asked pertinent questions that would be critical to my case and explained the importance of those questions. I felt she was frank and sincere which I appreciated because it gave me a true sense of what I should expect with my case. Irene handled my divorce, and I would give her more than 5 stars here if I could. She was not only very knowledgeable and experienced in her field, but inspired so much confidence that everything was going to turn out ok (which it did, better than ok actually). She handled every situation with compassion and was sensitive to even the most delicate issues, she basically took the stress and worry out of my hands and handled everything, with a level of confidence and competence that was very reassuring. She never failed to give me excellent advice and was always responsive when I needed to get in touch with her, she returned my calls promptly and never left me hanging or wondering if my interests came first. And she was a fierce advocate for those interests at all times, she maintains professionalism but never lets the other side push her around. My case took almost 1,5 years for Ruben to almost complete, we are waiting for the certificate now. He was into a Rollercoaster with me, and I am talking at some point on everyday basis. Not only he was dealing with a divorce and protecting my rights but also protecting rights of my children.
Exepct from professionalism Ruben showed care which is so important when you go through lowest times.
In the middle of divorce my ex husband fired his lawyer and Ruben took over communicating with him directly, and he still does on my behalf.
If we take the spotless professionalism away, Ruben was my best friend for quite some time.

Ben worked on one of my family members child custody case and domestic violence and he was awesome!!
