I made a contract for this firm to collect my payments for services rendered to a billionaire from NY, who killed himself last month because he was covered in debt, and this company, instead of defending my rights as stated in the contract, allied itself with my boss to not pay me. They simply said that I would not have the right to receive my fees because I did not have an employment contract. Do not confine yourself in this firm! They are crooks!

I had an unfortunate event happen in my life were the police were called and ultimately had an order of protection called an E.R.P.O put against myself. Never being in trouble with the law I was nervous. I was refereed to Jason Bassett. I am so glad I decided to work with him as the police officer told the story of what happen in such a mixed up way Jason Bassett was able to prove my innocence and also further more proved the officer didn’t know the facts he was speaking on. Throughout the entire time working with Jason Bassett he calmed my nerves and kept in contact personally with me. This was the best outcome I could have wanted thanks to my lawyer Jason Bassett.

I can’t say Thank You enough to this law firm and Eric Winnert! We live approximately 5 hours from the office and Eric came to our home to get the much needed paperwork signed by my very ill spouse for a mesothelioma law suit. Poor man had to drive through the snow belt in February just to make sure we got what was needed before anything happened. Whenever I have questions and need to contact him, he is always there to give me answers. He has walked me step by step through every part of the process as my spouse was terminal and passed. Even when I haven’t bothered him in awhile, he will shoot me a text with any needed updates on our case! He’s very caring, empathetic , and personable with his clients and their family! No matter what we threw at him he always had a smile and a chuckle while maintaining his professionalism! Not sure why, but right from the start Beth seem annoyed and unwilling to listen to the specifics of
my divorce. She suggested that I move out because abandonment doesn’t exist anymore and that I should start preparing for a huge child support payment that is inevitable and mandatory, and that my prenuptial agreement was worthless and unenforceable after 6 years of marriage. She told me that regardless of the circumstances my ex-wife will get custody and to prepare myself for that. She certainly didn’t feel like she was helping me, more like she was trying to do a little as possible to get through the case, or even make it easier for my ex to get the judgements she wants. 3 other lawyers told me very different things in their consultations. I hired a different lawyer.

I was fortunate to have found Paul! I tasked him with writing my prenup, and he was attentive and helpful throughout the entire process. I had zero prior experience with marital law, and I came to him with a ton of loose ideas for what my partner and I were looking for in the document. I knew it would be a difficult task to come to an agreement between all parties, and draft a legal document that satisfied everyone’s interests, but Paul came through. We worked together, and I found him very personable and easy to work with. He was able to break-down complex topics easily for me to understand and was extremely meticulous. Prenups can be a difficult endeavor for the parties involved, but Paul made the process extremely doable. We ultimately achieved the perfect document for our needs, which I am very grateful for. Amina Rashad Esq played a major role in my divorce procedure in 2015.
I found Attorney Rashad to be very professional, wise and yet compassionate.

Not a very good law firm you speak to a very knowledgeable very intelligent person at first and then you get stuck with another attorney that does not fully handle the situation properly. Then adds fees can't show up on time and does not do exactly what you asked from the first point of contact before the retainer was even placed. They ask for more money much like trying to hire a contractor you hire I'm thinking they're going to do the work and then when they get to start the work they claim they need more money. Even though it was claimed in the beginning exactly what was needed.

From day one of reaching out to her with our first home purchase which did not go through as planned she was amazing, answered very quickly always available to answer our questions and needs. Even after the house fell through she was still amazing in helping us get our deposit back and then 1 yr later we reached back out to her for another home we found and still the same service. She is well known in the Dutchess county area which made our transactions even smoother. I have been with Sawer & Sackel for 3 separate workers comp claims and have been very unsatisfied until recently. Up until Holly took ownership in my cases I was left wondering what was going on. I was the one that had to initiate any and all inquiries into correspondences from the insurance carrier. And I rarely spoke with a lawyer and it was Never the same individual. Since working with Holly things have change my thinking entirely. She has taken ownership in my case and has gone above and beyond my expectations (or at least what my expectations of a law firm should be) and have reaffirmed my choice in a workers compensation law firm. Sean O Hara has no business in law, came off nice, seemingly, except he contradicted himself several times. Claiming he never heard from the company, but knew where they sent my w-2…Did nothing for nine months and when I gave him crucial information he tried to get money, completely unaware that I had another attorney related to this case. His terrible work caused me to go through their employees and that’s a no for me dog, all white men. Fired and replaced. Don’t waste your time, not my first rodeo, but apparently his. Mind you the case was easy, pictures, text messages and he blew it, lazy, lazy, lazy. Easily the most important client you’ll ever have too.

I wish there was a 6th star to add to this review for Mr. Peter Groffmann. NOT ONLY is he an amazing attorney, but he is a kind human. Mr. Groffman has handled two traffic incidents for me, both were frivolous attempts at a money grab against a driver who in 30 years of driving hasn't had so much as parking ticket. Mr. Groffman recognized this, saw the flaws in these tickets and followed through to get them reduced and/or dismissed. He is EXCELLENT.
HOWEVER, I know that fighting tickets isn't all he does. The firm specializes in Estate planning & administration and I can only imagine that he is PHENOMINAL at that as well.
I know this because when you are talking to him, it's like talking to an actual human being. Peter is a kind person, he doesn't talk down to you, and although his knowledge of the law of course FAR supercedes the client, he listens in a way that is compassionate and caring.
Once I have the time, he will be my go to for estate planning, which I imagine can be a delicate and sensitive topic to discuss.
Heck, I can only imagine that sharing your final wishes with an attorney can be an emotional thing to do. You are literally discussing your choices to be carried out after death with a stranger. I KNOW in my heart that Mr. Groffmann handles each client with kindness & a warm heart, because that's who he is. And although I can't speak personally about his estate planning skills as an attorney b/c that would be disengenious, I can tell you that when you step in a room with him, or even speak on the phone, you just know you're in good hands. I think it takes about 10 seconds to recognize a good human being, and it may even take less once you meet Peter.
DO NOT HESITATE if you're selecting your attorney for this delicate matter, to call him. I don't know what other legal services his office covers, but I can guarantee you that if you put your trust and faith in Mr. Groffmann's hands, you will not be disappointed. Thats a 6 star guarantee.
