When things got complicated with problems in the building, she made sure we knew what was going on and the potential for future assessments. When the sellers wanted an all-cash offer, we held tight with her help and completed the deal with the mortgage intact. I'm currently using them as representation for the class action boy scouts of America case there's been extremely low communication between client and attorney I do also understand that they have an enormous clientele but I would like to know what's going on with my case and where it's at in the litigation and like how much longer it's going to be before there's a result but with that said it's my understanding that these guys are the best of the best so I trust that they will continue to fight as they have in the past and I'm sure they will continue to do in the future

Updated review. I cannot stress to anybody reading this enough: who you hire matters and you get what you pay for. Attorney’s have case after case slide across their desk. It’s a job at the end of the day to most. If Aaron Shapiro or the force that is Amanda Schaffer takes your case, TRUST THEM. Full disclosure: I am a nightmare client. On a scale from 1-10, I’m an 11 in terms of annoying. My son is my absolute world. I have been a “white pony” more times than you can imagine. Over-billed. None of it made sense. Those attorneys cared about a paycheck. Aaron and Amanda are not only EXCELLENT attorneys, they’re good people. They have a backbone. Their time is valuable. They’re not cheap. Know that. When your child, freedom, or immigration status is on the line — don’t put it in the hands of someone who treats you like a file. The legal progress is exhausting (mentally and financially — I know it all too well.) It’s unfair. Read that again.
No attorney should ever promise you a victory. Here’s what this random stranger who’s been put through the wringer for 3 years can promise you first hand — this firm cares and they’re your best shot.

He had me sign the retainer, pay almost $7000 and disappeared. He did not show up in court saying I still had to sign a form. I never received said form and he stopped answering altogether. I cannot believe he would do this to families in need of help.

No recomiendo este abogado Peter Cedeño. Este abogado es malísimo, solo le interesa el dinero, te dice un precio y cuando lo contrata y le paga. I am deeply disappointed with my experience at Cona Elder Care Law Firm. I contracted this firm to create a trust for my parents, but the entire process felt more like a business transaction than a genuine effort to assist with our family's needs. The costs initially presented were significantly lower than what I was ultimately billed. They seemed to initiate unnecessary back-and-forth emails and conversations, likely to inflate their billable hours, especially when the mistakes were theirs.
Despite charging tens of thousands of dollars to assist with a Medicaid application, the first application was denied under their guidance. We had to reapply, and despite months of work, we essentially had to start over and pay twice for the same service.
The most troubling part was after a year and a half when my parents finally had their affairs in order. Once everything was settled, the firm had the audacity to charge me for my siblings' inquiries about removing me as a trustee. This caused significant strain on our family, further compounded by the firm's opportunistic billing practices.
It's disheartening to see a firm prioritize profits over genuinely helping families. I would strongly advise against using Cona Elder Care Law Firm if you are looking for a compassionate and transparent experience. Their primary motivation appears to be maximizing their own profits, often at the expense of vulnerable elderly clients and their concerned children.

I can’t say Thank You enough to this law firm and Eric Winnert! We live approximately 5 hours from the office and Eric came to our home to get the much needed paperwork signed by my very ill spouse for a mesothelioma law suit. Poor man had to drive through the snow belt in February just to make sure we got what was needed before anything happened. Whenever I have questions and need to contact him, he is always there to give me answers. He has walked me step by step through every part of the process as my spouse was terminal and passed.
