Dustin Shamburg is an exceedingly hardworking, responsive, and kind man. I contacted his office after receiving a DUI, I was completely overwhelmed by the entire situation and felt completely paralyzed as what to do or what would happen from here. This was my first time ever needing legal counsel.
I knew within a few minutes of our talking that it only made sense to hire this firm. It became obvious that he has an immense amount of knowledge and experience in this arena and I'm so glad I engaged with this firm. If I could leave a negative review, I absolutely would. My experience with Sharman and her team has been deeply disappointing. Despite being entrusted with my case for nearly a year, no meaningful progress was made, and the situation was made worse due to her lack of preparation and attention to detail.
Sharman clearly never took the time to study my case, which became evident through her repeated oversights and lack of understanding of critical details. Her inaction and carelessness have left me and my family in over $20,000 of debt. Worse, when I retained a new attorney, they discovered that critical documents—like the initial dissolution petition—were missing from the case file Sharman’s team provided.
The contrast between my new attorney and Sharman’s approach is stark. My new attorney is working diligently to fix the damage caused, and the difference is night and day. Sharman’s lack of care and effort has turned my case against me, which no client should have to endure.
I share this review not out of anger but to inform others of my experience. Single parents and vulnerable families deserve better than to be taken advantage of. Please do your research before retaining this attorney or firm.

Mr. Mor has been a very helpful and generous soul this weekend. I am currently on unemployment and my unscrupulous former employers decided to challenge my approved claim. Mr. Mor was a cold call and he informed me I did not need to hire him and he spent about 40 minutes counseling me why and explaining some tips. He then had me send over a 40 page document involving the case and gave me another complimentary consultation regarding his thoughts. WHAT LAWYER IN THE WORLD WOULD DO THIS ALL FOR FREE? We had no prior relationship I simply google'd him and he was this kind to me. He specializes in wrongful termination and EDD/unemployment matters. When searching for an attorney to handle a personal and emotional matter, the need to find someone who is professional, knowledgeable and compassionate can be a difficult task. I found all of these characteristics and more in choosing and hiring Aimee Ashby Flanagan to handle my dissolution of marriage.
During our initial phone call, Aimee and I discussed the particulars of my marriage and as uncomfortable as it was for me to approach the conversation, Aimee's calm and comforting demeanor quickly settled my unsure nerves. Upon our first face to face meeting (during the Covid -19 pandemic), Aimee politely answered each of my many questions, took ample time discussing the divorce process and welcomed my feedback. Never was I rushed into signing an agreement or pressured to hurry the process. Her communication, whether by email, telephone or in person was always articulate and excellent and her response time throughout the duration of my case was immediate an on-point. She continually provided status updates, which I appreciated greatly. I was made aware of any email communication between she and my future ex-husband; each time impressed with her professionalism and expertise.
When the time came to file the final documents with the court, Aimee made sure I was 100% satisfied with the judgment agreement, spent ample time interpreting each document and again, answered my many questions.

I absolutely consider Harmony our Attorney Angel! I was referred to her while trying to get some Family Law attorney recommendations for a child custody case that was getting increasingly unfortunate and ugly. Since I was recommended to her on Facebook, Harmony reached out to me via Messenger the same day I was given her name and offered to meet with us. I let her know that we had a court date coming up fast (one week out) and there were pages and pages of Declarations that I wanted her to review IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. Truly, I didn't at all expect her to take me up on it, but she asked me to email her all the docs (100+ pages!) and said she would review them before we did the free initial consultation with us. That alone would have been enough for me to worship her, but what she did next was the kicker. SHE GOT BACK TO ME AND INSTEAD OF TELLING US HOW TO RETAIN HER SERVICES, SHE TOLD US EXACTLY HOW TO FILE AND WHAT TO SAY IN THE RESPONSE. Her reasoning was that she didn't see the sense in us spending more money on an attorney when we could file the response ourselves prior to the court date and have the same outcome. I was hesitant because child custody is a very emotional issue and we didn't want to "mess up" in any way representing ourselves in court, but she literally told us how to word things, what forms to file, HOW to e-file and what to expect. She even advised us on how to format it so we would have a "guideline" of sorts to reference in court if we got tongue tied. I was SHOCKED, in a good way. Finances are important to everyone and can be overwhelming when dealing with legal issues, but here was Harmony, encouraging us NOT to spend more than necessary, while also explaining exactly how to do that. Crazy!
Court went very well, and we are 1000% convinced this is because Harmony walked us through everything. With her advice, we were able to concentrate and speak more about moving forward for a child than about bashing anyone. She is ethical, kind, not at all judgmental or arrogant, and above all, HUMAN. Such a good, good, GOOD human. I would absolutely recommend Harmony to anyone needing assistance with any sort of Family Law case (I know she also practices Personal Injury as well!). If you are totally confused and overwhelmed, call or email Harmony. You won't regret it!

I’ve worked with dozens of attorneys at this point in my life and can very quickly identify the ones who know what they’re doing and the ones that need to go back to law school and retake the bar.

I was fortunate to work with Parris. In my divorce she was my 3rd attorney, so I had a chance to see how other attorneys could or could not handle my case, perform, and act upon my instructions in my best interests.
It was my first ever divorce and I did not know what to expect from the process or how the system worked.
My first attorney did not have a right to attend the court.
My second attorney seemed to be just interested in more money, with little to no help for me. He also was an expensive embarrassment in court.
So, when Parris agreed to take my case on, I was skeptical of the outcome. It ended up being best decision I could have made.
Parris is a true professional. She knows what to say and when not to say anything. She is fluid and well versed with legal procedure and the system. She dealt with the opposing council graciously, timely, and meticulously.
In court she was supportive to me and calm, with a professional and friendly attitude towards the opposing council and the judge.
The other side, despite a 3.5-year divorce process, was not well prepared. This cost them every point and detail that Parris was prepared for.
I wish there were more attorneys like Parris. She was a truly precious find for me and I am forever grateful!

Kendra Thomas was/is awesome! Divorce is messy child custody is messier. Kendra is a pro. You don't always get what you want, but the court system is setup to make sure of that. You get what you need and Kendra is a professional advocate for the children caught in the middle. My kids were so lucky to have her advocating for them, so they end up with time with both parents. Kendra is fair and that's all I could ask for.

In August 2022, the judge hearing the custody/visitation case regarding my minor son (10 w/ ADHD) appointed Ms. Thomas for his representation. Ms. Thoman was great! She interviewed my ex-husband and me. She spoke to my son privately to collect the information she needed to determine how she would present her(his really) case. She was truly for my sons his best interest, so much so that at the final hearing my ex-husband and I felt good creating a parenting plan together without the judge all while considering what Ms. Thomas expressed to us. We were able to talk amicably, but most importantly co-parent in a way that we had not been able to do in years. We both found a plan that works for us both, but especially for our son who is much more happier. Also, Ms. Murray, her assistant was on it. Her response time showed my ex-husband and I that they were invested in the case.

I hired Courtney Shepard because I was told she would be a "Tiger" in the court for me. I really needed someone who could stand up for what was right with my divorce. Instead, I got a feeble attorney. Everytime we had a meeting, she was always jittery, biting her nails, always asking me the same questions. Most of the time she was not prepared. Courtney and her staff didn't keep me in the loop as to what was going on. They scheduled a deposition and didn't tell me about it. I had to constantly ask her & her staff to update me. If you are looking for an attorney who will fight for you, look elsewhere. DON'T hire Courtney Shepard!

I'll be honest Family Law is messy and emotional and I feel so blessed to have been referred to Marc Mitzner and his team. They helped me with a complex Domestic Violence, Custody and Divorce Case. From the moment I came into his office everyone was extremely accommodating, professional and very conscientious of the intense emotional state I was in. They executed everything as they promised and in the time frame they said they would. I was constantly updated of my case status. I never had to follow up and ask for any paperwork as it was always emailed to me immediately. When I went to court with Marc and Christina it was easy to see that their reputations were well respected in the court room and with the judge. There is so much emotion involved in Family Law and during this crisis I was not thinking as clearly as I normally am, I couldn't have been in better hands during this experience. I never felt like I didn't ask enough questions or that I was rushed and if I did have a question they were always very timely to get back to me. Finding Marc and his staff was a true blessing in my life. I was facing a horrible child support case for my first time, lost and naive to the entire process.
