If you are seeking an attorney in Sarpy County NE, and your judge is Stefanie Martinez, then I would suggest Donald Roberts, because Martinez will sign off on whatever Donald writes for your divorce decree. I'm assuming Don Roberts represented Stefanie Martinez in one or both of her own divorce cases, but the judge has no integrity or ethics and will favor in Don Roberts. So, Men, if you are going against Donald and or in Martinez's courtroom, then you are doomed.

Deceptive, avoided getting back to me about charges, did not understand my case, went to two hearings in the short time he was hired and did not advocate on my behalf when he had the opportunity to do so. After his withdrawal he charged over $2,000 more in unexplained fees that were not applicable, after the final Bill had been paid.

Mr. Whelan and Joanna, his Paralegal were exceptional in handling my case regarding custody modification for my 10 year old. They were compassionate / knowledgeable and most importantly realistic; they didn’t give false promises and put it straight forward. We had lots of documents and they were able to weed through them for substantial exhibits to be used in our case. Went from joint legal only to joint physical/legal. While we were utterly prepared for court, we settled outside of court standing firm. We were recommended by a couple others to this attorney and we will use/recommend him and his staff in the future.

Very poor representation during court. Switched attorneys on me before trial..reason was because Lawrence had trial that day for someone else. Never did any type of evidence gathering, seemed to always act suprised/taking notes down on something that had already been discussed and had notes on. Very expensive. Overcharged on things that should havent been charged on. Me personally , i regret hiring these guys and if I could go back and fire them before my trial I would have. They totally let me down as a client , were quick to hurry and settle a deal, without even attempting to do any questioning of the opposing party. These guys are pathetic and exactly opposite of aggressive.

If you want an overpriced dude who is aloof on deadlines, sits on important emails for weeks or months, doesn't take your concerns about your child's safety nor your concern for the other party's mental health seriously... well, this is your guy!
(Don't take my word for it. Call and ask for his voicemail. His outgoing message will tell you all you need to know about his promptness)
He received discovery request from opposing counsel and didn't send it until two months later, a full month after it was due back. Didn't wait on making sure to charge for it though!
Sat on an important email about schooling decisions until 9:30 the night before the deadline. What did the opposing party argue in court? That I'm not involved in our child's school because I wasn't adding to the conversation, when I wasn't even aware of the email until three weeks after it was sent!
Told him in our consultation there were serious concerns for mental health. Does he request mental health records in discovery after you continually express those concerns? Nope! After you express your discontent with that decision, does he file a second set of discovery? Yep, but after the deadline to compel — again, weeks later — so the other party didn't have to supply them.
Don't ask for an apology though, lest you get an incredibly ironic lecture in "accountability". I'm sure he will comment on this reply with something similar.
Maybe he will say you're uncooperative because you're upset with his lack of promptness. I'm sure his response to this review will be prompt though! Gotta keep up appearances, right?
Maybe your kid(s) will get lucky and be worthy of the money you're paying him. Don't bet on it though.

After I filed my complaint for dissolution of marriage pro se, my husband retained a “fathers’ rights” attorney who quickly turned our case into high conflict litigation. Because I knew that I needed an excellent family law attorney to move forward, I called Mr. Philip Katz, a Martindale-Hubbell Preeminent Lawyer with an AV rating, the highest level of professional excellence, skills and integrity.
Although I was a mess, Mr. Katz patiently listened my concerns and immediately started work on my case. Based on his vast experience and knowledge of how the judge might rule, Mr. Katz developed a legal argument that made it likely that the judge would rule in my favor. Opposing counsel came out swinging, but Mr. Katz, calm and persistent, presented the best legal argument and judge ruled in my favor.
For these reasons, I highly recommend Mr. Philip Katz to anyone looking for an attorney to represent them in a high conflict case. In my opinion, he is a Rockstar Litigator.

When our first meeting was held it was verbally taking all my information over 30 minutes instead of using an electronic form to having sped the process up. Secondly, at the next meeting she showed up 10 min late with a dirty fork in hand clearly coming from eating her lunch. Bill Bianco of the law firm Bianco Stroh, LLC in Omaha is one of the worst lawyers I’ve ever encountered during 28 years of being an attorney. I referred a client to him as a courtesy and he spent months overbilling and insulting my client and his team while providing false information and failing to meet deadlines. He was rude, unprofessional, and wasted many hours of our time over a period of months. After my client fired him, I had a duty to report him to the Nebraska Counsel for Discipline to reprimand him for his unethical conduct. Stay away from this attorney and if he committed legal malpractice against you, report him to the Counsel for Discipline!

My husband hired Bill Bianco to represent him on a lawsuit he was filing against someone. During the time Bill represented him I have never seen my husband so stressed and anxious. He kept saying I think my own lawyer is working against me. Finally after months of Bill doing nothing my husband fired him. He has now found a great lawyer and is so much happier. Of course not before being lied too and mistreated. Please do not hire Bill Bianco!

Bill Bianco is the worst lawyer in Nebraska! I am going to try and keep this as short as possible, but considering all the incomprehensible things Bill Bianco did or didn't do with my case that won’t be easy. I have needed lawyers many times in my business career of 25+ years. In this time, I have had some pretty bad lawyers but none of them were nearly as horrible as Bill Bianco. I have had opposing lawyers treat me better than he did as my lawyer. After 4 months of malpractice, disrespect and ethical violations I fired him.
This review is the first of many things I have planned for him. Next I am reporting Bill to the Counsel for Discipline to be reprimanded and I am also suing him for my legal fees plus damages. From overcharging me for work he didn't do, to disrespecting myself, my experts and my other attorneys it was beyond bad. You would be better off representing yourself than hiring Bill Bianco. If you’ve had problems with him please reach out to me I may be able to help you. This guy should not be allowed to practice law ever again!!!

I can't speak for the entire law firm but I can speak towards Kelly Shattuck. This guy is a thief and an incompetent lawyer. Forgot my son's name in court and seemed never to really care.
I had him for about 8 months and nothing at all changed in my child custody case. Mind you, I have been lied upon and slandered yet nothing has been proven faulty on my side, and still I don't have a relationship with my son. He was talking like a lawyer until he got the retainer. Had me hire a Dr. for $5k that the judge didn't take serious. A straight hustle. This guy beat me for my money and did absolutely nothing. Maybe it's because I'm Black, I don't know. But something isn't right with him.

What can I say, the best experience and outcome I could receive! Julie was straight forward and direct with what she needed from me, which I liked. It made me feel like there were no shortcuts or games being played. This gave me confidence that my case may not take as long as I thought. Furthermore, Julie was patient in explaining and communicating EVERYTHING. I felt as if I could pass the bar after every one of our conversations(lol). Do not spend your money here! The amount of emails I have sent my lawyer to see if she can help me with my case is ridiculous. had an extremely frustrating experience with this lawyer. From the start, I felt like my case wasn’t a priority. Communication was poor, and I had to repeatedly follow up just to get a response. Despite paying a significant amount for their services, I received little to no support or progress on my case. I ended up feeling completely ignored, and my concerns were brushed off. It’s clear that their focus was on collecting fees, not actually helping me. I would not recommend this lawyer to anyone, as I feel like I wasted both time and money with no result. If anything they pushed my case back. When printing out my things out for my fiancé interview she gave me papers with the ink out so all the looked really messed up! Looking at it made me feel so hopelesss! It is So unprofessional. Not a single thing was done for my case. I’ve sent out multiple emails asking what they can do for me that I never got a response back from. Also it takes about 1 month and a half to even get to make a appointment with them & it has to be on call not even in person. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THEM!

I strongly advise against working with Darren Pekny and his firm. I was recently informed that documents that had a protective order placed on them, that he obtained, were obtained on a violation of Nebraska State Law. After learning about this unethical conduct, I filed a formal complaint with the Nebraska Supreme Court Counsel for Discipline. I am also exploring legal action to address this violation and unethical behavior. Unfortunately, this is not the only unethical behavior I’ve witnessed from Mr. Pekny and his firm. They have shown a consistent disregard for individuals’ constitutional rights, which is deeply concerning. I urge anyone seeking legal representation to look elsewhere for a firm that upholds the law and ethical standards. I would have absolutely no problem showing anyone proof of this. Please be smart and go elsewhere. Our justice system doesn’t need attorneys that are like this.

Jerry court hearings are public information. So you saying Unfortunately, your review does not present an accurate or fair picture of this firm is a dang lie because everything stated about your firm in the review calling you guys a circus and how Darren Pekny was embarrassed by a guy who doesn’t have a law degree and all your firm is filled with are money hungry jokes, is a very accurate statement and review and anyone can look it up if they wanted to. I believe it even stated you would try to lie to get people not to believe the review but unfortunately it’s the truth. I know for a fact your firm is more crooked than what was even said and unfortunately that information will eventually get out. I strongly advise against working with Darren Pekny and his firm. I was recently informed that documents that had a protective order placed on them, that he obtained, were obtained on a violation of Nebraska State Law. After learning about this unethical conduct, I filed a formal complaint with the Nebraska Supreme Court Counsel for Discipline. I am also exploring legal action to address this violation and unethical behavior. Unfortunately, this is not the only unethical behavior I’ve witnessed from Mr. Pekny and his firm. They have shown a consistent disregard for individuals’ constitutional rights, which is deeply concerning. I urge anyone seeking legal representation to look elsewhere for a firm that upholds the law and ethical standards. I would have absolutely no problem showing anyone proof of this. Please be smart and go elsewhere. Our justice system doesn’t need attorneys that are like this.

Bill Bianco of the law firm Bianco Stroh, LLC in Omaha is one of the worst lawyers I’ve ever encountered during 28 years of being an attorney. I referred a client to him as a courtesy and he spent months overbilling and insulting my client and his team while providing false information and failing to meet deadlines. He was rude, unprofessional, and wasted many hours of our time over a period of months. After my client fired him, I had a duty to report him to the Nebraska Counsel for Discipline to reprimand him for his unethical conduct. Stay away from this attorney and if he committed legal malpractice against you, report him to the Counsel for Discipline!

My husband hired Bill Bianco to represent him on a lawsuit he was filing against someone. During the time Bill represented him I have never seen my husband so stressed and anxious. He kept saying I think my own lawyer is working against me. Finally after months of Bill doing nothing my husband fired him. He has now found a great lawyer and is so much happier. Bill Bianco is the worst lawyer in Nebraska! I am going to try and keep this as short as possible, but considering all the incomprehensible things Bill Bianco did or didn't do with my case that won’t be easy. I have needed lawyers many times in my business career of 25+ years. In this time, I have had some pretty bad lawyers but none of them were nearly as horrible as Bill Bianco. I have had opposing lawyers treat me better than he did as my lawyer. After 4 months of malpractice, disrespect and ethical violations I fired him.
This review is the first of many things I have planned for him. Next I am reporting Bill to the Counsel for Discipline to be reprimanded and I am also suing him for my legal fees plus damages. From overcharging me for work he didn't do, to disrespecting myself, my experts and my other attorneys it was beyond bad. You would be better off representing yourself than hiring Bill Bianco. If you’ve had problems with him please reach out to me I may be able to help you. This guy should not be allowed to practice law ever again!!!

Do not spend your money here! The amount of emails I have sent my lawyer to see if she can help me with my case is ridiculous. had an extremely frustrating experience with this lawyer. From the start, I felt like my case wasn’t a priority. Communication was poor, and I had to repeatedly follow up just to get a response. Despite paying a significant amount for their services, I received little to no support or progress on my case. I ended up feeling completely ignored, and my concerns were brushed off. It’s clear that their focus was on collecting fees, not actually helping me. I would not recommend this lawyer to anyone, as I feel like I wasted both time and money with no result. If anything they pushed my case back. When printing out my things out for my fiancé interview she gave me papers with the ink out so all the looked really messed up! Looking at it made me feel so hopelesss! It is So unprofessional. Not a single thing was done for my case. I’ve sent out multiple emails asking what they can do for me that I never got a response back from.
